[Q] Sensation vs XE

I'm aware that the phones have the same hardware, just want to know that if I buy a stock sensation, will I be able to use beats and stuff through a ROM, just losing the charming red capacitive keys ? Thanx a lot!

If you flash an XE-based ROM, yes

Have a look at Android Revolution HD 3.6.8
It converts your sensation into XE.

There are a lot of ROMs that based on XE with fully beats audio.

Just last night at geekaphone.com I was reading that the XE doesn't have assisted GPS, I wasn't awared that this was hardware, other than this even though battery is bigger and internal memory is a little more and beats, I don't see the point of getting it.

[Q] video graphics lag

hi...........
i used many ICS sense 3.6 roms and in all rom i have noticed a lag while playing a 720p video..........and games also have video lag...........
how to solve it ????????
please help

I haven't seen this bug, however I would guess that with the system still being Beta, this has something to do with it.

Yeah it's probably due to the 'beta status' of the ROM's.
You might just have to wait for the final release for it to be fixed.

It could also be to do with the qHd of the screen. I know this sounds rather strange, but if you try using a game such as NinJump, you'll find that the application completely locks up. This is due to some applications not supporting the display and I would certainly double check that this isn't the issue you are experiencing.

For video games, disbale force gpu option in development setting.

It depends what you want, but custom roms tend to be better. You have almost unlimited support and the freedom of being able to switch to and from New features.

OrDroid 7.01 Beats Audio

Hey, I just installed OrDroid 7.01 and noticed that Beats Audio is not functional...I did perform a full wipe (coming from OrDroid 6.1.0). Anyone else that has encountered this problem?

Yup, beats audio does not work, neither does FM radio.
Developer is working on a fix for FM audio, for beats I`m not sure...
V7 has lots of bugs...

Okay, too bad that I was too quick on updating, without backing up my previous installation...perhaps there will be fix soon to this. Other than that, it's really smoother/faster than the previous version.

You've got to remember it's the first release with a whole new base.
It's like doing an engine-swap in a car - firstly you swap the engine, you run it, and then you find out the problems. It's never perfect first time round =)

Both ordroid 7.1.0 and insertcoin evolution 1.2 have been released and claim to have fixed beats audio.

Could you list a few stable,good with alot bling meaning features,etc Ics 4.0.3 with sense 4 with and without dr.dre audio beats that can also accept the 20 or 40 mbit camera,camcorder mod.Iwould greatly appreciated.

Beats Audio is system wide in Sense 4 meaning that as far as I know, there are no sense 4 ROM's without it in the EQ selection.
But you could maybe not use the beats EQ profile and go for the easy option and use a different profile or am I being too simple here?
Also as far as I know the only sense 4 ROM in which the camera mod by NANDO-GT works is my own due to the fact the I havent updated mine to the new base yet and no-one has bothered porting the mod to the new base

I believe its 6.6.7 revolution hd sense 4 with audio beats.has anyone ran this Rom.If so could you leave me some feedback about it.

I forget to add I have been running his 6.6.4 revolution hd with sense 3.6 for 3 weeks and its stable,reliable and even fast for a sense Rom a steady downloading speeds of 9.94 mbps.

Thats Sense 3.6, mike doesnt do ports because he doesnt know how to as he is a zip modder

every sense 3.6/4.0.3 rom is rock solid, just check which is nearest to your like and flash it... roms are like women, there're a lot, there're beautiful, ugly, but it's subjetive, it's ur choice

Ics is only at version 4.0.4, and as far as I know ics with sense 4 is only at 4.0.3. Quit asking questions that can easily be answered by reading and flashing! It is all personal taste and no one can tell you what you will like, that sir is up to you.

6.6.7 revolution hd w 3.6 sense

Dont they make a regular 6.6.7 and a 6.6.7 xe?what's the differences in the 2 roms.and don't 1 come with beats audio? They both have sense 3.6?so none of Mike's roms have sense 4.0.I'm just trying to figure out the differences and which ones more stable with everything working on them like WiFi,etc.I'm unable to try them all right now because my Internet is down so I can't download them all.any information would be appreciated.

Both roms are incredibly stable, great battery life, the only difference between the 2 is beats audio. The xe has the beats in it. However you can get beats on either with another flashable zip from the dev thread just have to dig for it.
