I downloaded and flashed the ROM following the instructions here. Thank You!
I will be seeding the HC stock and ICS firmwares through the weekend, FYI.
Let me know if there are any problems with the dropbox link or the system dump and I'll do what I can.
Remember: I AM A NOOB AND THIS IS MY FIRST REAL ANDROID DEVELOPMENT ATTEMPT.
please have patience with me.

[Orange Boston] Rom 2.2 - Xda Developers HELP NEEDED

Hi,
I've this file: http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2010/09/a60-android-22-rom-source-boston-clone.html and I need some help, from a expert in rom cocking, to explain how we make this rom 2.2 work...
Thanks,
At the same blog now we can find the Official Rom 2.2 from Motorola Greco XT502 for download. (Boston Clone)

Update to Android 4.3 from 4.0.4

Hello,
I have searched the Motorola Atrix 2 forums for a guide/thread that will help to update my Atrix 2 to Android Jelly Bean.
I have the Cyanogen downloaded along with the required Gapps. This is one of the links that I was referring too.
http://ndroiding.com/motorola-atrix-2-mb865-update/
Now, I have the following questions;
1. How do I root my MB865? Currently I have ICS 4.0.4 (AsiaRetail) and the phone is unrooted. The ICS update was installed OTA.
2. How do I take a backup of my current ROM? I have installed ClockworkRecovery MOD (ROM Manager). The one that I have installed does not support MB865.
3. We have multiple OS(say Win7, WinXP) on one laptop and we boot whichever OS we want when we powerup. So can we do that for our
phones too?
I was referring this xda thread.. and I felt that the information given there was a bit hotch-potch. Also, this one might be old.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1396650&highlight=root+atrix+2+mb865
Can anyone post the latest thread if there is any?
Also, there is a request to the moderators of the group. Please collect all the guides and post them together in a separate section (If it's there then sorry.. I missed it).
Thanks

That link what you posted is a custom ROM & did not look much in to it beyond that. First up everything I am posting is for non AT&T device. Be informed that our device does not have a direct fxz for JB 4.3 & what you need to do is go to the developer section & d/l official Moto stock (leaked unofficially) JB 4.1.2 then fxz via rsd to your current ICS phone (obviously you got to read all the steps, drivers,usb debugging enabled etc etc). This gets your device on JB 4.1.2 official and then install Boot Menu Manager 0.3.4 (search development thread again) & thereon read extensively on working of BMM and that point forward you are free to install any Jelly Bean 4.3 custom rom's. Good luck.

So you are on stock ICS and your phone is not ATT... You need to download jelly bean official leak 4.1.2... Install RSD lite on your windows and then install jelly bean rom . To install official jelly bean 4.1.2 , you dont need to root your atrix 2. I have tried this rom and its good.
and if you want to try 4.3 rom then you should try PA 4.3, it is good.
your second answer about rooting- I used swapper method for rooting because one click root method did not work for me.
3rd answer- Yes you can multiboot your atrix 2 for that you install BMM ( boot menu manager ) ... hope it help

Hey even my friend having atrix 2 . We both tried one click root method on 2 different Pc and laptops but we stuck on boot logo... So we use swapper method, I also suggest you to check that method. But it depends on you.. which one you like :good:

How many times are you going to ask this question? Do a little bit of reading for yourself and you will find that the bootloader is not unlockable. Also, if the op of the ROM says to install gapps, then install gapps. Just follow the directions, it's that simple.
If I had a dollar for every time I said that, I'd be making money in a very weird way.

Dude.... Download stock rom, go to download mode, open odin, connect phone via usb, put the files in the right place (be carefull) and click flash. Wait for it to load and Voila you have stock 2.3.6 GB. Look through the forum you will see already a post about this. And there are a ton of videos with How to do this.

[Completed] [Q] N7000 GB / 2.3 custom ROMs

Hello,
Can someone please let me know where I can find some custom Android 2.3 / Gingerbread ROMs for Galaxy Note N7000?
All of the download links are either dead or redirect to some weird site. The only one I can download is RocketRom V19_1 from Google Docs and that will not work because it needs RocketRom V19 to be installed which I cannot download.
Reasons why I want Gingerbread :
-TouchWiz;
-I cannot stand the AOSP interface and its keyboard;
-Most importantly of all, every ROM / firmware over 2.3 kills the battery and makes the phone slow (at least for N7000).
So any download location (if possible, from Google Docs) for a 2.3 Custom ROM would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

hello is there even devs working for this tab anymore?

Hi. I have Tab 3 lite or SMT113. it was vanilla but i decided to root and just install custom roms as it was just very old. First i bricked it but i used a pc to get official firmware back and then rooted again using kingroot and installed twrp. I installed the latest custom rom for this tab which was Lineageos 14.1 based on Androud 7.1.2. However i didnt like it as it seemed like there was no use of Gpu acceleration and it was very laggy. I m looking for a rom that is android 7+ or android 6 or above. Can anyone please help its kinda my only device. I may be getting a new one but PLEASE someone make a rom for this thing. Android kitkat is starting to lose support for some apps. I m using Fyrestone rom something which is better then stock but still looking for better roms with android 6+. I went on a few forums but they all are dead. Android 8.1.0 is not working and the links have been removed. Even CM11 threads and Android 9 are dead. pLease help users like me who have this device as their only device
