Image sniffing/viewing over wifi - can't remember app. - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey all,
About a year ago I had a great standalone app (not part of a suite) that sniffed and displayed images on my phone that any other connected devices were browsing the images from the Web.
The logo had two eyes drawn into it, or a face or something. I wanna say it was pixie or pixle or something.
Does that sound familiar to anyone? If not, I'm looking for a similar app.
Thanks in advance,
Matt!

Folders? That's what you found out that's new?

Wow. I REALLY suggest that you read the forums a bit before posting new threads. This is like starting a new topic about the blue status bar icons.
I hate it when people post a link to a video without saying what's in the video. Why not take the extra few seconds to type "it's got folders" or whatever?
And, yes, I agree it's a bit pathetic to be posting that in the first place (if in fact that was the point - I'm not going to watch the video) since most of us who don't have ICS yet already knew about that.
haha funny..

Smartphone Hardware Survey

Hello Everyone! I've created a Smartphone Hardware Survey on Survey Monkey to get people's opinions on items like buttons, form factor, memory cards, and screen size. I think it will be pretty interesting to see what popular opinion shows.
I've tried to be as unbiased as I can in the creation of this survey. In a few weeks when we've gotten enough responses to have a good data set, I'll update this thread with the results. Please only fill it out once. Thanks for contributing!
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JTSR5J9
note to the mods: If possible, I'd like permission to post this in some of the more popular device forums. Let me know, Thanks!
Completed the survey

I completed it. Here are two question that most(mostly me)would like to answer:
Where would you prefer the power/lock button?
Also:
Where would you prefer the charger port?

Interesting survey^^
Completed it.
Everyone. Thanks for all the positive talk. Sorry I couldn't get those questions in at this time. The free version is limited to 10 questions. Maybe at somepoint this might grow a little bigger. We'll see what happens for now. I've got 11 responses so far. I'm really hoping to get over 100. We'll see if that happens.
Done :good:

I think you can do a survey with Google Docs ( don't know how, but I know there is a way). Try using it.

done! interesting :laugh::good:
Done. Would definitely like more questions. My personal stake is audio quality and GPS.
For all those wanting more questions, I don't want to add on so as to keep the results consistent. However, if this is successful I could do another one down the road.
FYI, we've already got 21 responses!!! That's awesome!!

OPENING SNOTE FILES [pc]

Has anyone found a solution to opening Snote Files on Pc? I'm not talking about exporting to pdf.

It's just a zip file. Extract it and take a look. The default templates are changeable in this way also.

Here is an option...
Samsung ativ win 8 tablet comes with snote. I have often sent my snote files from 8013 to my friend can open them on windows 8.
We just need to get an installer out of it that will work on other win 8 laptops.. and hopefullt win7.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
I copied the .snb file to my PC, extracted it with 7 Zip, navigated to the snote folder, and opened the snote.xml in Word. It gives me all the text and is very readable. It didn't, however, give me the photos and videos I had embedded in the file, but I imagine (not being a computer geek) that those instructions are contained in the other .xml files, as I have a folder in the archive that also contains those elements.
Yes, it would be great if Samsung could port the S-Note to Windows.

I'd like to know too..
using on win8
I have a new Samsung Ativ T700. It uses an Intel Core i5. In the metro environment there is an SNotes app that is the same as on our tablets. Well, actually, the tablet is better, but you can copy your notes over and then import them into the Win8 version. Works fine.
I'm lost on what your referring to I guess because I don't have a ATIV, but can you clarify what is a metro environment?
Google "Metro UI"
I don't understand how people today STILL don't realize 90% of all questions in the universe have already been answered on Google.
Did I know it was a ui ? Sorry I assumed someone could answer a simple question without being a ****.

Icryan, the problem is that it's not just you. It's pretty much anyone blind or too lazy to use Google.
Nothing to do with being a ****. I'm teaching you and others like you the solution to the rest of your life.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
Try working in retail tech one day, you'll see how many times the same simple question that can be answered by the FIRST link on Google gets asked.
IE: how to MUTE the VOLUME * face palm*
If everyone were like you, every forum would be FILLED with IDENTICAL question threads, and eventually NO ONE knowledgeable will bother answering after repeating the same answer 10 times.
Just Try it, help yourself get some perspective.

I knew what you were talking about (vaguely), but for kicks, I Googled metro, and didn't find anything, results improved after using metro environment, but barely. It might seem obvious to you, but not to someone who isn't sure as to what they are looking for.
Using your analogy, there is a difference between teaching a man how to fish, as opposed to telling him to throw a hook into the water.

Just bumping this in order to keep a discussion going on the availability of a APP capable of opening snb files.
Possible if the pc app in windows app is ported to other devices

If one bothered reading this [read: two page] thread, they would have come across my earlier post linking "metro" to "Windows 8".
It's a clear clue that "windows 8" has SOMETHING to do with "Metro"

Now, upon seeing this, he/she would have had enough terms ["windows 8 metro"] for retrieving a relevant Google search result.
clearly, In this case, simply READING would have been faster than posting a message and waiting for someone to post an answer.
But that's your choice. Kind of like double clicking on internet links, sure it'll work, but it's a waste of everyone's time and effort.

All share cast hub for Galaxy Tab 2 P3113!?

So I just got the all share cast hub and was under the impression that like the S3, the tab 2 would mirror on a big screen. I'm finding out that, that's not the case :/
Has anyone heard of a fix, go between, app etc... Or any info at all about all share cast on our tabs? I bought it more for my tab than my note, so this is kind of a bummer. Just thought I'd pick some brains before I send it back
Thanks guys!

So Tapatalk 4 is out and Im on the fence about it. .99c is a killer deal however when I took a look at the reviews it was really mixed. A lot of people say it isnt loading forums/topics quickly. However it still has a 4.3 star overall rating. I did purchase the app and tried it for a few minutes to discover similar issues. (Im running the beta / 3rd version now). It did look a lot different then the beta though. Has anyone else tried it? What are your thoughts? Do you feel its slower than the beta?
I just bought it myself and truthfully I don't see much difference than the public release version.. :S not having the problems others are on the reviews but I'm on WiFi :<
