http://www.tmonews.com/2010/01/htc-obession-coming-to-t-mobile-in-the-form-of-the-diamond3/
It must be the HTC...i can't find anything about any Samsung "Obsession" on google....and if it's not in google, it doesn't exist. Nah, jking.
Also it appears as though that is very old news.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting this phone but I would like to know if it has a TV out option. Maybe HDMI?

No need to be mean lol. I don't think this phone supports HDMI, not that I care for that.

Not sure but i would assume works on blaze to. Works on galaxy nexus and galaxy s2 can't confirm blaze though
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4g
MHL does not work on the Blaze unfortunately. Tested it on my wife's phone and it's a no-go, though it might be possible.

Thanks guys do you think and RCA cable would work?
Sent from my Wildfire S A510e using xda premium
I don't think so. Looks like a sound cord. But you could try.
There are other ways to stream video and music to your tv. PlayStation, XBox, and various bluray players will pick up media server applications you can run on your phone.

It should work... well, that's what I use for Samsung Vibrant that I had.
Just go to Settings<Sounds and Display(or Display)<TV Out <---Now that was for Samsung Vibrant and Captivate. Might work for Blaze if it supports RCA
I'm getting my Blaze soon..maybe in 3 days? It was free on T-Mobile for awhile..

That's what I was thinking, because on my old vibrant, the RCA cables worked.

What do You think when both devices are from SAMSUNG ?
Call it forsight, but when it says for SGS3 I'll better ask a dumb question before paing 60€ for something that p*@es me off, wouldn't be the first time with samsung to assume something that seems plausible and then it's not.

If the htc one work on the note 10.1, I see no problem with it working on the note 10.1
I will know when i get it, I ordered from amazon and i might see it within a month LOL.
WTF! It's working only with my note 10.1, no allshare cast option on the SGS3(guess old provider firmware).
Something else: ist it possible to add both devices to one dongle or do I have to pair the devices everytime when switching?

so now we have a s3 mini with similar hardware to s2 and will have jb so this could only lead to s2 getting Jb as well...
cost so far is 400$ euro which for Au dollars is about 500$ if true then its cost is far to much for a lower spec phone....

S2 is already confirmed to be getting JB.

i think it worth
i think it not worth
why???
so, what may be their intention for releasing this phone when S3 is doing very fine and other galaxy phones are also there?
I don't like the idea of the mini, there are still other phones out there that people can get instead of buying a mini. I do like Samsung though.
800x480 resolution?
1ghz dual core processor?
5 megapixel camera?
1500mAh battery?
Those are last years specs. Wasn't expecting this from a 2012 Galaxy device.

Yeah. The only thing the S3 mini has that is better is Jellybean. But otherwise its pretty much a Galaxy S1 with a dual core CPU and 1GB of RAM

As others have said here and elsewhere I really can't understand the point of this phone. The specs are lacking in every way.
soon they gonna come out with a S3 mini LTE version...
While people like us here on XDA know about the specs, know the fact that basically this is a rubbish phone.
But to most people out there, they are going to see this phone & its resemblance to the SIII & its name [SIII mini] are going to assume that this is a smaller version of the SIII. These are the people who are going to form most of the sales of this phone & whom Samsung is fooling.

Then they're gonna realize it sucks compared to an actual S3, and thus give the galaxy S3 a bad name

Agreed. Should've called it the Galaxy Jade
before the s4 came out, the sound was all anybody could talk about, now its like the subject has completely died out now that we can actually do something about it since we have our phones.
the sound is good I guess, louder than the s3 that's for sure, but it just doesn't come alive like my s3 does.. granted, I was using Boffla kernel, and Eargasm preset on the hardware equalizer.. but I still want to tune the s4 with what's available now.
has anybody tried tuning, or using alternative sound engines to get better sound from their s4?
DISCUSS ! !

I was blown away by the sound quality if I am honest...
Sent from my XT890 using xda app-developers app
I think the sound is equal to S3, a bit louder, but no omphh still. Coming from HTC and iPhone I really miss the sound. All my Samsung phone has been anti omphh so it's clearly the Samsung way.
Need a kernel to fix that, sadly...

The supplied ones of the htc one are pretty good. In germany you can get them for 20€ with a 3 button remote.
