Hello guyz i am working on my PURPLE THEME which is a port of DEEP PURPLE by VIRNIK0

The color does look a bit gaudy, maybe it will look better on the phone

nice one for girls.i would like to see this theme in neon green if that is possible.

After 38mb of download not able to install it says "bad" on recovery mode, anyway nice try.
Advise: Next time just upload flashable .Zip file.

Somehow..the notification bar seems to autohide itself. Is there any way for me to disable that feature? can't seem to find it anywhere. Sorry for the trouble..

HOW TO FLASH:
Please backup your rom before flashing.
Download the rom, place it in your SD card.

ya i will download , but it is not possible provide only the patches that can fix the bugs on lewa which you uploaded first . again downloading 95.5 mb file is boring cause in my place it take up to 1.5 hrs

Hi,
First off, thanks for this awesome ROM. I understand this is a port but awesome work nonetheless!
My review after 2 days of use:
This seems to be flawless for me.. almost. Just a couple of minor problems. Please solve these and It'll be even better:
Like posted previously, int the dialer "#" seems to have a special meaning. I guess it loads contacts from sim card. For example, pressing 1# gives types in "111" for me.
Also, this makes it impossible to send USSD requests(check balance etc). typing in *141# actually dials *141. Actually, # and anything after that is ignored. I think its a dialer issue, I'll check with other 3rd party dialers once I get home.
The Vertical line on the dialer buttons. Is it intended? Its even on the screenies you posted. Seems to be out of place. Another reason the change the dialer.
It seems the font size in messages etc is a tad bit too big. This is a problem in certain cases. For example, if I try to message a particular contact with multiple numbers, the screen is already filled with the contact photo, the number selection drop-down, and the keyboard. I can't see what I'm typing. I had to disable the keyboard recommendation to get that bit of space to see atleast one line of what I'm typing.
In Language & Input Settings->User dictionary, the words are white on a whitish background. The background becomes dark while scrolling and words appear fine, but otherwise they're not easily readable.
I hope you can look into these and maybe we can get some workarounds atleast.

1st boot may take a while so be patient n wait till it boots. After boot if the lockscreen appears to fix the slider misplace flash my DX2MOD Aroma Collections.

Think i found a bug cause after flashing this the semc clock force closes and i can't use the alarm, has anyone the same problem?
If yes plz fix because i really like this mod.

Known. Still can't figure out why. Mybe coz that clock was from a 2.3.7 Xperia S n it conflicted somehow. Mybe u can try re-install the clock or other clock. Sorry if i trouble u somehow. Will update the op. Thanks for clarifiying.:good:

Oh well, it was worth a shot.
EDIT: Actually, scratch that... I got this mod to work on stock! Just had to fight it a bit.
No level of permissions changing would allow my built-in SystemUI.apk to be successfully overwritten by this... so I got pissed off and wiped the SystemUI from the system/app folder completely. Retrospectively thinking, there was probably a less rash way of handling that, but after it sent me into an instant FC loop, I was able to power down, go into CWM and flash the zip... and boom! Working new SystemUI.apk! The toggles look/function swell and the battery indicator is slick... gonna go brag now about how I got one of ICS's biggest features without the added on memory drain and busted Gameloft games that come with ICS

The new fonts caught me off guard, but they're growing on me (especially on the dock clock).

@sdojoin the improvement of swiping process doesn't work , it's like the old swipe-to-remove notification : if you move out of a notification while holding it with your finger, the notification come back to it's position.
you did replace smalis in your systemUI but the variables into those smalis seems incorrect, I tried many times to find the correct values of these references but with no luck
hope you find out a solution !
EDIT : the method "makeNotificationView()" is also missing from StatusBarView.smali !!
aaaaand this line : "iput-object v6, v2, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/ExpandedView;->mTouchDispatcher:Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/ItemTouchDispatcher;" !!

I don't think it can do more than that if u didn't add any extra command on the .xml. Mybe u could try doing it urself n see how it goes. Imma hav a look at it again but i'm pretty sure its all in there. Erm.. Weird..

So u're running the full mod on stock 2.3.4 with no problem?? Did everything work?? Including the swipe, tho it still need some work but can u swipe ur notification??

the swipe-to-remove is working it's just the improvement from this tutorial that's not working

As far as I know, yes.
Toggles are working, all indicators, fonts and such are working, the backgrounds' all beautiful and transparent... and notification swiping definitely works. All on the stock 2.3.4 rom.

OLD swipe-to-remove notification : if you move out of a notification while holding it with your finger, the notification come back to it's position :

now I decompiled your systemUI and compared smali\com\android\systemui\statusbar\StatusBarView.smali to this tutorial : and makeNotificationView method was missing also the line that I pointed earlier
EDIT : found another thing :
for /smali/com/android/systemui/statusbar/ExpandedView.smali , in the tutorial it says : add this method to the end , but you replaced everything that was on it

Ooo.. So thats whats mising. U think u can modify n test it for me. U seem to know what u're doing. But still to me, it don't matter much as long as the notification Can be Swipe Away.

Like I said before , variables must be changed before adding and that's where I'm failing I asked Dixperia2's developer to add it later and he'll hopefully look at it

[MOD][Theme] Dark Sense Style / 2 versions: a) Theme inc. AllianceMod / b) Theme only

Hi guys,
I made a Theme out of several I found around xda and other Forums. No single icon was made by myself - this Theme is completely kanged with permission of the main producers of the icons I used.
IMPORTANT: Do not ask me for any changes to make!!! I am not a themer and I like the theme as is!!! Maybe I will do changes, but don't request them!!!

I made 2 versions:
Dark Sense Style incl AllianceMod (thx to Robbie Hood for his brilliant work!!!)
==> including all Mods from here |CWM|MOD|_XXLSZ_|_AllianceMOD_N7000_v2_|_Deode xed_| and the Theme
Dark Sense Style Theme only
Prerequisites:
Theme will ONLY FULLY work on following XXLSZ Custom ROMs:
+ [ROM] [JB] [4.1.2] Stock deodexed and rooted XXLSZ / add. Mod available!! [2/21/2013]
+ [ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSZ JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.2 | ONLINE | 23/02/2013
+ [ROM][JB]Pristine XXLSZ v1.9 and deodexed Full UBLSF [08.03.2013]
+ [ROM] Cassie's XtraLiteRom JELLYBEAN V14.8 LSZ "Your Rom Your Way" 24/02/2013
--> for these ROMs there won't be any issues, cause they use the same file structure - maybe I will do the theme for other ROMs to, but not sure now - if you use AllianceROM, DO NOT FLASH Theme a) --> ask Robbie to integrate the theme only version in his OTA options!
Installation Instructions and Downloads:
IMPORTANT: Make a nandroid backup before!!! You might not like the theme and and can easily restore your previous ROM!!!
a) Dark Sense Style Theme incl. AllianceMOD
put DarkSenseStyle+AllianceMod_v1.zip on your SD-Card
boot in CWM Recovery
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Flash DarkSenseStyle+AllianceMod_v1.zip (this takes up to 15 minutes!!!)
reboot
go to Settings - Alliance Mod - Custom settings - UI Mods - Clock Options
open 'Statusbar Clock Color' and change color to #ffffffff
open 'Dropdown Clock Color' and change color to #ffffffff
open 'Dropdown Date Color' and change color to #ffffffff
go to Settings - Alliance Mod - Custom settings - UI Mods - Statusbar Options
open 'Statusbar Color' and change color to #ff000000
open 'Notification Panel Color' and change color to #ff000000
open 'Wifi Icon Color' and change color to #ffffffff
open 'Signal Icon Color' and change color to #ffffffff
go to Settings - Alliance Mod - Custom settings - UI Mods - Statusbar Options - Battery Options
open Battery Icon Color and change color to #ffffffff
open 'Select Battery' and choose 'Icon'
IMPORTANT: NOW reboot once more to make the changes effective!!!

Eybee just a random question.
If you press from tw menu set wallpaper and you choose lockscreen you get a selection that makes to me no sense. It looks like the old moving selection on ics wallpaper for the homepage. Could they have messed the selection paterns?

themes like these make your time on 320 dpi worth while...like walking into a museum !
i like the black flashbar but its just half way down ( maybe coz I ve been trotting between different UIs ?

which version you flashed? With AllianceMOD? Then you have to change colors as described in OP....
if you flashed Theme only version, it depends, which theme you installed before...statusbar colors are inside xmls in SystemUI.apk and I did not touch any xmls...so best then flash DarkTheme from trinev first and then this Theme again...then everything will be black

eybee, I flashed the theme with Alliance. I didnt have any other theme before this. I followed all the instructions in OP. Except for the flashbar which is shortened to half its length everything is perfect .

You are not on 320 dpi...at least not with every app...

Eybee sorry for spamming but got another thing.
The dark theme only it gives battery and clock on the right as is it showing on last pic of post 1.
Even I flashed last file the battery icon and clock stays the same. To get the icon that are posted on post#2 pics is required to flash alliance pack?
Wiped dalvic every time. Tried twice with same result.
The rest is awsome btw nice work.
Ahh before flashing mod for the 1% had a nice battery icon (see pic). Was it a random because it wasent working normaly?

Installation
☞Download PowerBox and place it in your sdcard/ext sdcard.
☞Reboot in recovery(TWRP/Philz5.15) by pressing Vol UP+Power+Home and navigate to PowerBox zip.
☞Select PowerBox zip and flash
This will start AROMA installer. Now you can choose your desired option/feature.
Features and Screenshots
1.ROOT
Select this if you want to Root your device. Selecting this will automatically De-KNOX your phone and inject Busybox.
2.Bloat Cleaner
Here you will be able to remove all bloat apps from your phone.
3.Traffic Meter
This will place traffic meter in statusbar on left side. You can select it or ignore it and also you can revert back to stock by selecting stock option.
4.Traffic Meter+Home/Lock button
This will place traffic meter along with Home button on left side and Lock button on right. You can also revert back to stock if needed.
Note-Its a premium feature.
5.Toggle buttons themer
This will theme status bar toggle buttons. These are the options you will be presented-

"240dpi Mod" is this a mod that change build.prop 320 to 240, modding the apps or replaceing them?

It does all that you mentioned. Editing build.prop and replacing apps. The only difference is, it does all itself by merely flashing it. You don't need to do anything.

Stuck at step number 4.. ..using TWRP/Philz5.15 recovery. I never tick any selection I just click next but the screen freeze. I had tried twice but no luck.

Flashed as per the instructionsa and successful. However, my battery mod (gas guage) from OG battery mod was changed to circular battery and as much as I tried, can't get the gas guage back again . How can this be resolved.
Daily Driver: Phoenix v.16.7. Stock kernel.

Very nice tool! Might we have any preview of all those themes?

Extract systemui.apk frm pheonix rom and move to system/app then set rw-r--r-- permission..

Verify the md5 and redownload. There are more freeze case in twrp but I flashed each time with twrp only and I never faced any freeze issue.
