Hi,
I tried to update my HTC Sensation to CM9 by the tool in the development section. Rooting and flashing went fine. Only the startup after i flashed it doesnt work. It gets suck, animations keep going, it just doesnt move on. Allready have it for 45 min going. Tried the same rom ( the nightly one ) twice. No result keeps getting stuck
Any idea?
Edit: It says its unlocked, but its still PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL while i passed the steps successfully
are you flashing with smartflash enabled? it needs to be on to flash cm9 with s-on devices or else it will just stay on the boot animation

First to come out of boot loop.. Do the extra 1 step from the above guide....
Also skip the adb steps.. As they are used only to go to bootloader.. And you instead go there manually

I have a problem. I have a HBOOt ver. 1.23 and my device is been S_OFF. I also have a Android Revolution ICS custom rom. So, I try to downgrade to official 2.3, but I do somethimg stupid. I put S_ON on my device and now my device is S-ON, HBOOT 1.23,Radio-11.19.3504.29.2 and its stock on htc homescreen.I try to install RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.35.401.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198179_signed but there is a problem, error 155.
My englis is not good, sory. Is any know how to solve a problem? Send me if you know step by step solution.

Try putting s-off again, and just flash another rom. Honestly i would think that would be the best.
Its not posible put s off, becouse revolutionary only have s off for h boot 1.18. And its not possible to downgrade h boot from 1.23 to 1.18. Is anybody have also these problem and fix them?

Anyways to the OP
First you need to get SOFF
Use kgs super utility to get that done
(thread is a sticky in sensation development section)
Then you need to flash proper 3.32 firmware then recovery and then any ics rom

If you follow the above process you not only come out of bootloops but also will have a ics rom running
EDIT:
If you just want to get out of bootloop
Then just run the tmous 1.53 ruu
(thread in sensation general with name tmous 1.53 ruu)
Just download the ruu and run from pc.. With phone connected in bootloader

What recovery do you have and which Rom did you flash?

Do you mean the stock Rom?
Try to reflash the rom with 4ext recovery
Before flashing format all partitions except sdcard
Enable smartflash from 4ext
Flash the rom

Fast download the ruu file as your room have before. Then connect your htc sensation 4g with sync and turn on the debugger option. Then install the ruu file. i hope it will be ok.... By this way i have been passed this problem out. i hope it's help you..
Just rooted my wives TMOUS Sensation with the unlocked bootloader, s-ON. Everything went fine. flashed 4ext then super wiped then flashed the ARHD roms and all had errors or would not connect to WIFI. I tried the Beats one, the Tmobile one and same issue! Mobile hotspot shows error - wifi wont connect - shows error!

Just noticed! no radio is listed! Could this be the problem and how to fix it?
not sure if this would be the problem but it does say you need s-off to install ARHD. i installed the t-mobile version with s-off and everything worked fine with me.
Really? I need to be s-off? I though I could be unlocked bootloader! Could not get that damn wire trick to work! What now?
Keep trying don't give up. The wire trick is touchy and I believe it's a matter of timing. Read the instructions again and get the timing correct and you will be good! I wish you the best! You can do it ! Have patience. Good luck!

For some roms you need to be s-off. There's a thread here on xda that will help you with the timing of the wire trick, if you don't get it the first tries keep trying you'll get it

You have two options
First is to follow the guide with flashing roms with s-on
It exists in general section
Second is to use ganeshp's guide to s-off and then root
In general section too

I have a s-off sensation XE, cwm installed, with OrDroid v9.0.0 running, can I flash viperS 3.0.1 ROm with cwm? Any specific hboot version needed? I can't seems to find from other post. Thanks for the help.

you are s-on then you must use a rom which based stock ics like revolution hd.
yesterday i tried something like you and same happened to me. phone stuck at htc logo.
then how you will install it?
i was used this to recover my phone. if you want to install your phone another rom like jellybean, first make it root and after s-off, then resume what you need.

guys it is simple
because of S-ON situation the only thing you need to do is use 4ext recovery to flash any custom rom
and before flashing any rom enable smartflash from 4ext(becasue of S-ON)
