man im dying to have this theme but every time i flash it it just goes into a bootloop and freezes the black screen. any help? i am no rookie. i did all the steps as instructed. i am using a diff kernel. could that be the issue?

The main thing that concerns me at present is data and being able to make calls. So if it doesn't find network try to search for network and/or enter APN manually. I will need logcats of this stuff (if it isn't working) to try and determine the cause and how to fix. Thanks for everyone's help on this.

I can get acquire signal no text or data period. will upload logcat later. also i went to search for carrier manually and it said fail to scan.

video is choppy, it skips like its in slow-mo

Very interesting. Never had the opportunity to use AOKP before.
Initial impressions for those that are curious:
Rom seems to run pretty smooth. Was cool seeing everything this rom is capable of.
Data and Phone network aren't working atm
GPS also isn't working.
Wifi works, but the browser crashes. I was only able to test by connection to market.
Rom Control (the AOKP specific settings) seems to crash with most settings.
There's some other visual oddities, but nothing severe.

i use calkins cw3 wipe, plus i go in and wipe boot, system, data, datadata, and cache. worked like a charm on the first go. hope that helps

is cw3 wipe the same as VR superwipe?

pretty much. i just do the auto wipe, then do the individual wipes

My concern is since this is not a theme but an entire ROM are we going to have to go through trouble shooting this as well now. It looks great and I am going to give it a try but I'm not into working through another ICS theme. Is there a way to strip the theme and install just that into an existing ICS theme. Even if it is one of the CM9 variants???

i haven't run into any issues. battery is great. its just the AOKP ics with the touchwiz theme already installed. there is actually a touchwiz theme for CM9, but i couldn't get it fully working unlike this one.

I flashed it but it stay on the evo white screen, I waited ten minutes but it never got pass the white screen, maybe somebody else had better luck??

I will definitely give this a try when it's back up. Always looking for new things to try, that have things like netflix working, and it's getting more and more rare on our aging devices.
