Hi,
Have you tried the built in equalizer included in the akop/cm10 ROMs? It is pretty good.
Regarding the Bravia engine, never found a real improvement on our sensation.

Which is a better audio mod?

Well I'm trying to mod my Rom and I want some first-hand views on which audio mod is better in terms of stability, usability and overall music experience!
Awesome beats? Beats audio? Acid audio? Modified DSP? Music FX? Or any other you think is worthy.

Acid is the best right now, but it partially works. I'm reporting bugs to Team Acid, so they should be fixed sometime soon.

Well yeah, the problem with acid audio comes while it tries to edit build.prop changes.

i ain't facing any prob with acid
flashed universal mod +awesome beats addon
works flawlessly with walkman(not the addon,the app)

Interesting. Will try that. Which Rom are you using? And does sound enhancement in walkman work? What about speaker and voice call bugs?

i tried it on cm9 build 10 and now on mini cm9
yeah clearbass works no bug in speaker or voice call rather my voice clarity increased
remeber to add build.prop lines correctly and select awesome beats in sound music effects

Can we add both awesome beats mod and beats audio mod?

i don't think so
btw i removed dsp manager before doing all stuff then it came back when I flashed awesome beats addon
believe me music was never so awesome before this I'm loving it

So in short, acid audio with awesome beats and a pre installed walkman app rocks, right?

Hai guys really the acid audio is really nice but i tried lot of times with walkman addon but it never works.. walkman app always face force Close..
I tried it in both CM9.1 build 11 as well CM10 build 3 no use..
Every time i made a cleans installation only.. whats wrong with this.. Please post ur guide, how u install it in ur device..

Sorry to say... but I didn't feel any difference.....
Used acid +awesome beats(preinstalled walkman,nik007 advice, clean cm, dc,c wipe done, build. prop edited, equalizer in awesome beats working[just don't get what the fuss is all about])
Also tried Walkman on full clean cm..sound enhancement force closes, clear bass seemed to work.., but still don't feel addicted or anything that people mention here..anyway deleted everything...

@ all for whom its not working :
did u removed dsp manager(by clearing app data ) before flashing acid ? coz u have to !!
then wipe dalvic cache flash acid universal + awesome beats addon
again wipe dalvic cache ,fix permission, reboot
now add build prop lines through root explorer reboot enjoy !!
don't forget to select awesome beats in sound effects
further u can download Walkman app(Google it ) not the add on i wish i could upload but 2g speed sucks

Hi, i wonder if I did something wrong, because I tried to flash AC!D Audio Engine V5.0 and my audio was totally broken (don't worry, Nandroid )

Try the 1 in the Evo 3D mods section. It has worked for me on every HTC device I tried. That includes a Sense 4 ROM on my Rezound. Read the 1st post as it explains how it was modded.

I also lost the sound after flashing this. But in Frankenstein's aokp ROM in add ones you have working acid for sensation... if you are using cm10 be careful coz it broke the left earpiece of my earphones (in two pairs )
