YOU MUST HAVE NEW GB BASEBAND
Base rom: 21e
Thanx for the thread man. I hope Acura2201 will has nothing against that.
I use this ROM and Kernel for about 15 days and i can say that is the most battery friendly.
About speed - the same as Promethius. You can see the benchmarks in the thread by me.
3D Max has 1Gb ram but P920 only 512Mb ram. So this rom battery life better than stock rom?

1. first you SHOULD HAVE the CWM installed. search in the forum how to do that.
2. after that you should download the Acura moded one form here
http://www.mediafire.com/?h3wyl2yw53o0hdw
3. copy the ZIP to the external memory card
4. flash the ZIP file with the CWM
5. Reboot
if you want to come back to the original CWM do the same but with the link for the original CWM in the fist post.

Hi everyone,
I tried differents basebands (V20B & V21A) but i have no network on this rom...
Does others have the same problem ?
I have wifi and bluetooth but no network and when i'm trying to list all the operators, i'm getting an error than connection is impossible now and i need to try again later.
I never had this on other roms...
This rom need v21e baseband!

I noticed since I've had that issue on a few roms (p925g running 920 roms) that you just need to swap up the kernels, I've thiai v0.5 on it and i've got no issues, I did have a few issues with Blue Kernel on this rom as it locked up a few times, that being version 1.19, haven't tried 1.20. Trial and error really. Works great on the p925g (canadian model) I lost over clock on the thiai kernel though, Kernel was from the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264023
** Blue kernel 1.20 still gives me the issue for turning on and it's unresponsive just as a heads up
Link for ROM does not work. Well it takes me to a site but says the file doesn't exist. Little help

I have had this rom for a while now (V2). It has been the most stable and fast build. I am going to upgrade now but I think I will stay with this rom until ICS. :-D

Hahaha I noticed a weird glitch, I don't have a dock background usually, however if I turn on wifi and go back to the homescreen I get a dock background.... Don't know if anyone else has noticed this or if for whatever reason it's just me.

I have managed to port the Slim ICS 3.6 i9000 version to the Infuse!!!
***Taken from original thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488096***
Key features:
Fully built from AOSP sources with some cherry picks from CM and AOKP team,
Easy to customize features (thanks to AOKP team) via ASS (Advanced Slim Settings)
Common Base ROM - 60MB
Device Essentials - ~20MB
5 languages ( en, fr, de, it and es. No new languages will be added)
No GAPPS required, Gmail, Talk , Contacts and Calendar Sync already included, rest in removed addon zip file.
Zeam Launcher
Click to collapse
Other key features:
3.6 base and essential put into one CWM flashable zip making the flashing process that much simpler!
ONLY 80MB!!!!
What is working in this port?
-wifi
-music
-camera (8MP)
-ability to mount as mass storage device
-ASS...Advanced Slim Settings (as far as i know everything in that appears to be working except OTA update)
-???
What is not working?
-device settings in the setting app (those are setting specific to the galaxy s)
-NS tool in the settings app (to be honest dont even know what that is)
-anything that doesn't work in CM9
-???
This is my first port ever!!! so beware there may be bugs, but it seems really stable to me. Anything that doesnt work in entropy's CM9 will not work here because i used his CM9 to port this. You flash this at your own risk, allthough it is highly unlikely im not responsible for any damage caused to your phone, or your friends phone or anyones phone. however if you do encounter problems i will do my best to help you.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Coming from previous ICS ROM:
1) download the rom
2) boot into CWM Recovery
3) mount system (not neccessary according to others but i do it anyways)
4) wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache
5) flash rom
6) reboot and enjoy
Coming from Gingerbread (double flash):
1) download rom
2) reboot to recovery
3) wipe data/factory rest, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache
4) flash rom
5) reboot
6) will get stuck at samsung logo or something
7) simutaniously hold power button, volume down, volume up until your phone reboots and you see the samsung logo - as soon as you see the samsung logo let go of buttons (but not your phone lol)
8) mount system
9) re-flash rom with no wipes
10) reboot and enjoy
if you get a colorful hard to read recovery it is because you dont have gingerbread bootloaders, the rom should not be effected by this but if you want to fix this problem then you need to flash gingerbread bootloaders
DOWNLOAD
I've been asked to take this port down by the original dev
NSTools Fix
(will add this to the full rom too, however until then flash this)(go under setting/about phone look at build number if it does not say 1.1 then you need this fix)
just flash...no wipes necessary
Removed

NS Tools:
Manage your custom kernel with NSTools, you can easily manage tweaks without editing init script.
NSTools requires root for working properly. Currently its work on Nexus S with GLaDOS, Matr1x, franco, SG-kernel, Eugene, Trinity, Netarchy, Lucid, Air, Lynx, and others that include Ezekeel's patch, also works with some SGS kernel (Glitch v14).
Supported tweaks:
- BLD
- BLN
- BLX
- CPU Governor
- Custom Voltage
- Deepidle
- Liveoc
- Max/min scaling frequencies
- Touchwake
- CMLed
- IO Scheduler
- Fast charge toggle

Maybe still many people are asking themselves if they can use Optimus 3DMax ROMs with Kernels for Optimus 3D. Here I show you a picture of my tests with “AcuraTeam_3D_MAX_V1” and “The Promethius Project V1.3” ROMs and 3 different Kernels:
1. 1-V1-Maximo (beta3)
2. Titan V0.6+
3. Promethius V1.3+
4. Maximo Speed V2 1208MHz
Promethius 1.4+, 1.5+ and 1.4.5 are not included since they give me lock in twlan_wq lock and 48% CPU constant load till reboot. 1-V1-Maximo (beta1) and 1-V1-Maximo (beta2) give constant pvr_workqueue CPU usage around 1-5% and that give lower scores in benches and sometimes and *wakelock* with battery drain. For me these are the most stable Kernels.
I use V21E Baseband
The combination between AcuraTeam_3D_MAX_V1 ROM and Promethius V1.3+ give me best scores and long battery life.
All scores are made by taking the highest score from 5 consecutive runs.
CPU set on performance/cfq
FastReboot before the first test.
Have fun with the data

EDIT:
Added Maximo Speed V2 1208MHz kernel, and AcuraTeam_3D_MAX_V3.1 ROM
As you see there is no more that 1-5% difference between the ROM/KERNEL combinations... so all difference you FEEL is a nice placebo "effect". Nonplacebo is that AcuraTeam_3D_MAX_V3.1/Maximo Speed V2 1208MHz has very long battery life when set to 1008/200MHz and vr I/O Scheduler and less lockups of my WIFI - probably more voltage for WIFI or changed sleep sequence or s.t. else

AcuraTeam Rom with Promethius V1.3+ Kernel have good @1080p and 3D 720p recording - no glitches. For Maximo and Titan V0.6+ i have not test.
I have test the 1.4+ ,1.5 but as they were giving me problems I have not record these scores but there was not s.t. I should remember or striking.
Franzferdinan51 - I just install it over “The Promethius Project V1.3” with CWM. All programs and data stay there. I change it back to “The Promethius Project V1.3” by mistake and then again to “AcuraTeam_3D_MAX_V1” and still was all OK. Of course I took full backup on my system before i did that all.

1) use as base A WORKING GOOD STABLE ROM, ALREADY GOOD AND STABLE ROM WITH ALL WORKING
2) COMPILE FROM SCRATCH aand solve bug yourself
OR nothing! doesn t make another equal rom with merko shame rom as base.. also you want money to buy a phone? I hope not

6 Signed zip are attached ( 1st 4 Service MODs are specific to respective CM JB/GB version ) , and last 2 App2sd_plus_tweaks_lagfree and App2sd_plus_tweaks_ondemand are rom independent) , - Try and let me know if they are working or not if not provide the logcat of the same so , it can be tweaked more.
NOTE : 1st boot-up will take time( up to 5min max - Application Optimization takes a bit of time) so , don't panic. wait for sometime , in case of bootloop check hv you flashed correct zip ......there will be a slight lag initially ..after sometime everything will be fine.
1st 2 tweaks with services.jar will not work over slimbean .(it has slightly diffrent services.jar file) so for that I would recommend to use the last 2 tweaks. Or provide the services.jar (/system/framework/services.jar)
Hi,
First two for JB, second two GB.... third two are for..?

Thanks for you answer. If I already have app2sd will this mess it up? And if I want to avoid this is it enough if I just delete ap2sd and swap2sc from this zip and flash it?

NO it won't . It will remove all the previous script from init.d and add the included one in the ZIP.
So backup them before proceeding.
Will add a backing up of the script in the next release.
so i installed the lagfree for JB and it seems that i have a bootloop over here anything i could do about that?

The tweaks mentioned are for CM10/CM7.2
Slimbean has slightly different services.jar ...so may bootloop
Just re-flash slimbean and provide its services.jar ( from /system/framework/services.jar)
script

signed Zip , will remove all previous scripts and add new ones , so there won't be any old script in init.d ( all will be new ones), so you can backup it if you require it,
Will these tweaks work on AOKP JB?

for AOKP - to work I need its services.jar file ( if services.jar mod is required) - so boot-loop will happen if you try to flash JB zips
Or
you can use the last 2 zips (w/o services.jar).
didn't worked on JB. I tried flashing both the files mentioned here for JB but bootloop continue more than 10 min.....

Initially it will lag a bit as application optimisation takes a bit of time ..use Taskmanager to free up RAM.

Gunsmoke rom for Tinji i9300, should be suitable for all H640_v77 models (Check your build.prop for details), baseband version should not be a problem.
As usual, before try to put this rom please do a backup of your current partitions so you can always go back.
PREAMBLE:
This rom is basically a porting of another phone, based on the same board. This porting has been done to solve a very bad issue that this phone have, the signal lost bug: sometimes the RIL stop works all of a sudden and the only way to bring it back to life is to reboot or enable and disable flight mode.
After a month of works this is what I've come with, a rom that I've called gunsmoke just because I love the bjorn akesson song.
VERSION 1.0:
FEATURES:
- Brand new touch recovery
- RIL recover itself from the nosignal status in seconds
- New UI on some apps (phone, settings, framework...)
- Root
- Removed all chinese bloatware
- New locking screen
- LG UI3 launcher
- All gapps installed (included voice dictation)
- Vold.fstab tweaks
- Build.prop tweaks
- Amr wideband on conversations (if country and operator support it)
- wifi, BT, gps, led, camera working (see know bugs for camera)
KNOWN BUGS:
- Camera preview and saved image is upside down in stock camera app, I've added to the rom the excellent lgcamera app that does not have this issue, i've also tried other camera apps, all the stock based apps are upside down, proprietary apps are ok (including qr code apps)
UPDATE:
I've made an error placing lgcamera apk into system, it Force close when it shot the photo, to resolve this issue please install root uninstaller and uninstall the application, then reinstall from market.
DOWNLOAD:
Gunsmoke.part1.rar <-- Download
Gunsmoke.part2.rar <-- Download
VERSION 2.0:
CHANGELOG:
- Camera now works
- Removed custom lockscreen and phone UI due to many layout/language errors
- More vold.fstab changes: now external sd is the main sd memory
TIP4: I've added to the zip inside the apk folder an app called signalreset (available also on the market, for free); this will I hope solve the signal lost problem on some phones that are having the issue even with the patched modem.img
DOWNLOAD:
https://www.mediafire.com/?nfkj2z9c4lw77vs --> Part 1
https://www.mediafire.com/?nfkj2z9c4lw77vs -->Part 2
VERSION 2.1:
I've applied other patches to modem.img in order to improve data stability,
Just apply the 2.1 patch into recovery mode to update the baseband (modem.img).
This patch should be applied only after the upgrade to 2.0 version, but it should work on any rom version.
DOWNLOAD:
2.1 modem patch
INSTALLATION:
- Download the two rar files below, flash with sp flash tools as usual; scatter file along with sp flash tools program is included.
- After the flash of the rom enter rocovery and do a factory reset ( EXTREMELY IMPORTANT)
- reboot and you are done.
TIP1: I suggest you to install the LatinImeGoogle_signed.apk that I've included into the rar file, it's a keyboard much more reliable in terms of spell correction, and languages, it also has swipe feature.
TIP2: To avoid the high noise during call, put a piece of aluminium foil between the bottom antenna and the plastic, gently unglue the adhesive antenna, put the aluminium and no more noise.
TIP3: To improve overall data performance go to settings->more and untick gprs transfer prefer mode (the last option in the screen).
Kisses to all
Nonno

Hi and thanks for the ROM,
As I had problems with my last ROM to have access to the Play Store I wanted to flash a new ROM and then decided for yours.
The flashing worked without any problems. Reboot and all that ran perfect.
System camera is updside down as already mentioned and the other installed camery is closing after trying to take a picture.
Unfortunately I could not delete it... will try another camera app.
Otherwise everything else is running great!

Hey wow, you are still working on updates for your ROM!
Great :good:
I am thinking of updating to your 2.0 version, but I am not sure about the advantages. As I would have to reinstall all apps again and synchronizing all other data it is always quite a lot of work and time. And the current version 1.0 is running good...never change a running system
Maybe in my next holidays when I have time I will give it a try!
Go ahead with your good work for the Tinji Users
Cheers
hi, the playstore not work for me, same like recovery, why ?
Try to reflash and remember to wipe data

I'm sorry, i'm new in theess chinese phones... Your package for download includes root and recovery? I'm used to regular Samsungs... What launcher do you use? I've installed trebuchet because is so smooth...
thanks
Thanks, best Rom till now ever made for Tinji. Go ahead like this
I will test 2.0 version this evening.
I already install this ROM, but i can't enter recovery mode.
How can i get to recovery mode? I already try Volume Up+Power, volume down+power, home button + Power, but none of that can bring me to Recovery Mode.
With this phone u can enter recovery by removing the battery, put battery in, connect to PC, then press volume up + power... no way to enter recovery without a computer by button press.
Sent from my XT910 using xda app-developers app
I do exactly as your instruction, but still no Recovery. It always goes to Factory Mode. I can go to Recovery Mode only with MobileUncle Tool or ROM Manager. Any idea?
Really don't know sorry
