Guys I am a complete noob
and i am bored by the orignal look of android
I need something new
My friend also has an android phone.So he rooted that deodexed, new rom
So i need to ask can i root this phone ?
Which rom is the best to install after rooting ?
i upgraded my phone to xxkpq with my friends help. Now i dont know what to do?
So please help me

hey dude u can try to install. a good kernel with cwm (clock work mod)....a very important tool to customize your phone....then download a custom rom of your choice from the development section (see that ur firmware matches that of the rom) ....follow the instructions there and you will have a full customized phone as most c-roms are pre rooted and deodexed .....when you learn more and get used to the phone you can try miui or cm (but that is for later ...) .......since ur on kpq u can try Poseidon or vurrut roms (Ive used them and they're nice)....

Its Simple
i am using Poseiden's ROM
How to Install it :-
Backup ur apps, Contacts, Messages.
a) U'll need CWM (i use [CF-Root] by Ganesh u get here for XXKPQ)
1) Flash this *.tar file as a PDA in Odin
b) Downlad Poseiden ROM from here or here
1) Copy this zip file to ur external SD Card
2) Goto Recovery Mode Install the zip file from ur external SD Card
3) after installation setup will reboot to recovery mode, wipe Cache & DALVIK CACHE
Done

New Transition Animation

I did not make this, I simply came across this on the Google Nexus forum. I have tested it on my R800x and R800at and it works great. Please do make a nandroid backup prior to proceeding in case you run into an issue. I take no responsibility if you mess up your phone.

Instructions:
1. Do a backup in CWM, in case u get bootloop from doing somthing wrong so if u do get bootloop do an ADV restore and restore system
2. download zipthemer free on market
3. download MOD/zip
4. select menu and then select "update edify"
5. click browse..
6. choose the rom zip you are using (examply, NXT.zip, DXperia, etc)
7. click configure...
8. click the back button and press "+theme" press transition zip.
9. click build and press "always"
10. it will make ur flash zip. go to recovery and flash. no wipes needed

This should work on any android device as this transition was from the Galaxy Nexus forum and I tried it on both my R800x and R800at and it works beautifully.

It didn't work on my R800i, Xperia NXT 1.3....

And there is where my problems begins and the n* 1 is: NO THERE IS A FRAMEWORK ANIMATIONS THERE!!!
There are phone settings.xml and update script.bin

After pressing +theme u should find the download file. Probably in ur download folder. Click it then click build

confirmed working on dixperia2 tks

Features-
1) CWM flashable zip
2) pre-rooted
3) untouched apart from removal of a few region specific apps
4) deodexed
5) zipaligned apks
6) THIS IS COMPLETELY STOCK UNMODIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are two versions of this-
One with CWM integrated - for those with locked bootloader (and thus unable to use the awesomeness that is vengeance kernel )
Another without CWM - for those on vengeance (since you already have CWM AND TWRP :good: )
The latter has been tested by me on my device, and it works.

there are three force stop apps in your deodexed Rom
1)root explorer
2)Xda app
3)super backup
I fixed for my self but kindly fix it for other users :thumbup:

I'm sorry. Check two things- ONE, is your device a TIPO SINGLE SIM device??? TWO, is the download complete? Because I've checked both zips. Also, I have put two versions... one for locked bootloader, where CWM is also included in the ROM zip. and another for people using vengeance kernel, where CWM is pre installed.

I cant get the note 3 weather widget working . Everytime it says " Problem Loading Widget "I tried to download the widget from many different forums but none of them worked .I also tried to clear cache and data from application manager and titanium backup . Also tried to Undo sys Dalvik integration in TB. But its still not working . someone help me please.

i'm testing immediatly (install: ok but i've got FC with application installer (pehaps because i do not wipe (as i've done a fresh install an hour agot))

Hi. I installed ur rom & its perfect. Few things i noticed.
1) No incoming call notification popup.
2) If u see DN3 rom or Dr. Ketan rom. If u change the dpi to 240 the floating keyboard doesnot losses its alignment where as in your rom the alignment completely changes.
3) Before the mobile network was perfect but after installing ur rom it seems the caller is not able to hear until and unless u put the speaker phone on.
Point 3 might be a hardware problem.
Rest all is perfect.
Can u rectify it plz.

If you have the latest firmware 18.3.C.0.40 for your device installed, you can try it. If your phone is running a older version of firmware, install the
newest firmware first! Here is a link to the latest version: klick me

Maybe I've done something wrong but settings .apk have dissapeared from the app drawer. I have installed the .zip from CWM. I was using your first deodexed rom.

That is really bad! I don't know what is the issue. I have tested on my phone and everything worked.
But maybe i have the solution! Download this file: klick me
and flash the zip in CWM. This may fix the issue. Please report back if it's work!

Nothing bro, sorry very much. First error I get when I restart my cell It's a force close from Greenify, I don't know if that's relevant. I don't think so.
As I told you, I also have your deodexed ROM in my Xperia M2 (D2303)

Has anybody tried this deodexed rom? I had no luck with it and I would like to see if I'm doing something wrong.
