FT, the source was a very informative rep at Best Buy's computer sales department. She also gave me some other information concerning availability timing but it seemed a little unusual so I didn't mention it. The on-sale date was confirmed by associates at a couple different local stores.

I ordered one on the phone and the lady said it should be here by the 19th-24th. I'm leaving on the 27th, so I'm not complaining.
Ordered mine just now. 32GB in grey. Said it would be here sometime between 23 and 26 July. At least I got one on order and now can stop trying to keep up with it's status! My Nexus 7 will keep me well occupied until my Infinity gets here!

I had a BIG credit on my Best Buy card from where I returned my iPad 3 so I had to order from BB. Maybe mine will be shipped early since I used my BB card. Mine is also coming directly to my home.

I was planning on using my gift card, but I couldn't do it over the phone. The lady was really trying to rush through and get my order through for some reason. I almost said that I'd go down to the store to order if I could use my gift card but she completed the order quickly. I'll just save it and use it for the dock I suppose. Or if there's a Best Buy near my college, I'll just use it to pick up Halo 4 in November.

I got an email back on June 21 saying they upgraded the Silver membership return policy from 45 days to 60 days. I was able to order my Infinity and exchanged with 2 days left before the 60 days was up.

I also doubt that...as there are different time zones so it would be unfair to people on different parts of the country...some would be able to get there pre order in hours before half of the country

I will be either going into a store to get it once available. I remember when the S2 came out I was able to get it the day after release but quite a few that pre ordered it didn't get it until a week after I got mine (or close to that at least). But I will be going in to check it out in person as soon as the stores have them.

Why on Earth would you pay $50 for 16 gb of additional space?
16 gb of space is currently going for $15 on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MicroSDHC-Memory-Adapter-SDSDQU-032G-AFFP-A/dp/B009QZH7BU). If you feel the need to spend the $50, then get the 64 gb card for $54.

Because the internal memory is a lot faster and I would prefer to have more of it instead of external memory. The 16GB version has about 9GB usable.
Don't know if it's "a lot faster", but whatever floats your boat.

Just like an internal hard drive is faster than an external on a computer...speed gets bottle necked by adapters and what not...

So dig this, I had some questions that I posted towards the beginning of this thread about pre-order and nobody seemed to have any valuable response, so I just happened to be next door to an AT&T corp store just now getting coffe and I popped in and asked... here are my answers from the clerk that talked to her manager.
-Yes, presale begins tomorrow (duh)
-Yes, pricing is $200 and $250
-You can pre-order as soon as your store opens tomorroe (4-16)
-Yo can have it shipped to any address once pre-ordered
Here is the odd part of her responses.....
-As far as how soon I would be getting said S4 if I preorder tomorrow, she initially said it would ship in 3 to 5 working days... I thought GREAT, I am days away from having my new toy in the palm of my sweaty arizona hand...
Then the stab in the gut came, she dissapeared to the back for a moment to confirm this info and spoke to her manager, who coached her that she was wrong to quote me 3 to 5 working days. She proceded to inform me (according to her manager) the phone would ship the day it is released in the store in May.... My heart dropped and I said "May?" and she said "Well we don't know or can't say when it is being released yet..." So I said, "Well why did you say may then?" she said "well, whenever it does come out..." as if she slipped and was not supposed to disclose that...That was the end of the conversation.
I wanted to ask her "well what the hell is the point of pre-order then if It does not even ship until the day it releases in store?" but I didn't have the nerve and I guess I was hoping this was all a bad dream lol.....
So heres to hoping her and her manager were completly wrong or were just trying to be vague....

I think theres an application you have to use when your rooted to do so. Im not even sure if they will even work as i never had an sd card before. Im wondering this too.

I bought mine on October 29 for 439€ but it was not custom made. Also it was a French import to Portugal in a Portuguese online store, they are selling it now for 455€.

Yeah, I don't think moto maker is worth $150, but I guess it depends on how much you like the custom design.
Bought mine via Amazon on 11/30 for $399 - chatted with them online and asked nicely and they gave me $42.50 refund - not quite the same price but close.

I was clicking into the store every few minutes during the live cast and when it finally showed the Pixel 4 I immediately tried to get an orange 128 XL but they were already sold out. I ended up picking it up on Fi but a black 128 XL for 999 with a 100 dollar credit which shows shipping on the 26th to 29th.
Edit... The website showed 26th to 29th for shipping, the confirmation email shows 24th to 25th for shipping.

They offered $260 for my 3 XL. My 3 XL is mint, not a scratch or blemish anywhere. I just decided to keep it.
I have kids and then grandchildren, one of them is always willing take take on the last as I move onto the next and it saves me the hassle of having to box it up for trade or selling it. Lots of discretionary income is the only good thing about being old, the rest of it sucks pretty hard.

I think others who have some experience ordering phones from google will back me up on this when I say their shipping timing is based on a guy throwing a dart at a dart board. And don't think it will show up on whatever day the dart hits either; could be sooner, could be later. No, I'm not kidding. I've already got two different dates, the numbers the website showed are not the same as the dates on my confirmation email. And that's just today. If it doesn't change before I get the phone I'll be genuinely surprised.
