HiddenMenuWifiOffload Verizon Wi-Fi PopUp - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

This no longer works after
ICS update I535 VRALG7.
To remove the wifi popup, open the dialer and enter the following code:
*#6335623# :good: this will open "HiddenMenuWifiOffload" menu select
"Disable WifiOffloading" press OK :highfive:

Im pretty sure you can disable the pop up through the settings menu? Once I did it it never showed up again.

Didn't work for me...

You can also make a shortcut to this on your homescreen.
Add shortcut> activity> servicemode> hiddenmenuwifioffload.
I think this has more to do with the handoff between mobile and WiFi than the nag notification.
Just guessing.

My bad, I forgot I was running apex launcher. It allows you to add more shortcuts than touchwiz.

it worked for me

lol its so funny to see all these different ways to disable wifioffloading..... btw, this way doesnt work on all verzion (depending on root/non rooted and which way you rooted)
you could just post in a single thread on how to do this... like was done already, not sure a whole new thread was needed but whatever.

Worked Great Thank You :good:
I Don't see No Thank You button?

thanks. What does this DO exactly, does it get rid of the nagging to connect to wifi, or just do something to the way that the phone handles the transfers.
Apps seem to react differently to wifi/cellular data networks. Chrome stops downloading files if you step too far out of wifi for example.

Wow this is awesome. I am not rooted nor do I want to and this is the first thing I have found for us stock users!

[MOD] how to get the galaxy nexus navigation bar on cm10

I did a little hunting for this mod and to enable it you must goto the /system/build.prop file to enable it
Mount it as r/w if you have root explorer
Enter this text in the build prop file
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Save and exit
Reboot and enjoy
This mod isn't mine but you can find this in the galaxy s i9000 themes and apps

That bar?
That option doesn't exist in regular CM10 for the Infuse. I know Paranoid Android does have that setting though.
That build.prop edit does work though. Coolios!

Open up the file labled "build prop". Make sure you have root priveledges, and add this text to the bottom of the file:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Save the file, and restart your phone. You will now have the new dock bar.
This worked on my Sprint S3 running the latest cm10. However, I had to go to Developer Options and check "Disable HW overlays" to keep the screen from flickering.

Xposed modules......

I'd like to get a list of xposed modules that work for the g2 going.
App settings module works...
Xblast works.... what I love about this is the advanced power menu.... boot directly into recovery from power button ect.
Icon themer works, except for the app drawer icon.
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.
XVolume30 works!
I tried a few until I bricked my phone lol, nattachs mod does not work, xposed status bar mods would hide the battery icon but that is about it.

Advanced Power Menu works very well. Almost perfectly.
'Hotwords From Results"
"Xposed StatusBar Mods" kinda works but it doesn't set the secondary color of icons so they're all monochromic. Someone might not mind that.
"Smiley Replacer" But it changes the "shortcuts" so links will always show :-/ . I'm sure that's a bug across all devices.

"Xposed StatusBar Mods" is also not able to remove AM/PM from the clock which I would really, really like. But I was able to remove the battery icon so that's a plus - just have percentage there. Although the percentage can't be colored (based on charge OR default color either). If you center the clock using it, notifications just overlap the clock which is quite annoying as well.
Are there any other status bar mod Xposed Modules that I can try?
Where can I get these xposed modules from? I can't find it in any threads

Yeah, I fought with the AM/PM from XBlast and could not make it remove the AM/PM, it worked for the whole clock but then the clock on the lockscreen disappeared which I'd rather have.
So I was very happy to find MoDaCo would allow me to remove the AM/PM. I personally got rid of the Advanced Power Menu due to the fact XBlast has that as an option.
Anyone know the hex value for the color LG uses for the battery and signal? I'd like to change my clock to match.
I'd actually rather change it to the ICS/JB stock color, but when you change the battery and signal color, you lose the animations.

All that does is add the ability to increment to a higher volume by taking smaller steps, mainly, it will get louder more gradually. It doesn't do anything to make your phone louder or sound enhancement, it is usually used in conjunction with XLouder or ViPER4Android.

Information
This application was designed to take advantage of building beautiful Android applications. That's the goal of the application. It is entirely open-sourced, and free to use.
What's included?
* ViewPager inside of a MenuDrawer
* Translucent StatusBar and NavigationBar for api19+
* Shows how to add a Header to a MenuDrawer, and an interactive footer, with an explanation in the code as to how im doing it
* Shows how to add a beautiful 'About' section, how to launch activities and use animation when opening said activities (Android L animations are included)
* Shows how to add an ImageView with a transparent statusbar. Not only does it look great, it also sort of mimics Android L
* Shows how to change the background colors of several elements of an application, how to create custom themes in styles
* How to programmatically set the fontfamily
* How to change the fontFamily in layouts, and in the styles.xml
* Shows how to create a custom request page that actually works. It will copy the title and body over to the email client the user chooses, where they can easily send the email. I worked super hard on making it look beautiful. I strongly believe it shows, and comes in handy.
* much, much more. im ALWAYS improving on this. Seriously. I work on this like every day. haha

I re-enabled all my disabled apps, restarted, and only could update from the phone itself. Software Upgrade Assistant did not see there was an update. Installing at 66% ....
I had issues with google assistant. it wouldn't detect my voice. I had to go into the google app and click on the microphone there THEN google asssistant recognized my voice. Other than that, runs smooth much like most major updates do after fresh install. Icons look alot more round, not sure if I like that. Still monkeying around with it.
Still messing with mine also.. I use nova, so it went back to that.. But I noticed a few things.. Like the swing out s pen menu, you can add, almost anything.. And when you drag a corner to minimize a window, it can get a lot smaller now.. I'm thrilled that they didn't mess it up..

I can't say for sure(you always have that little utopian high) , but so far I'm loving it.. It seems much smoother honestly..
It has all the things they mentioned and a lot more that only people that use the phone would honestly notice..
.. It's kinda like they to the note 7 features, put them on here and improved some of them.. Very intelligently.. And yes, it's pretty different..
I included some screens of a few of the things I've noticed so far.. Some of them, they didn't mention or, I think even notice... But it makes the update nice..

From what I know you can still do more if you pull the top down then tap and hold on the little options gear it will start to spin an then pop a window open asking if you want to change the UI settings and it adds another option in settings kind of like Developer options but it lets you choose whatever you want and don't want on the top it's pretty cool it's supposed to be a "hidden feature" like developer options was lol.

I'm not able to get any voice interaction to work after the update. No Assistant, no voice typing from my keyboard... Nada, zip.

Ok, I rebooted and voice seems to be working now.

The new notifications seems a little wonky to me. It used to be that the top most notification would auto-expand... now, the only way to expand notifications is to manually do it? Anyone else running into this or have ideas on how to auto-expand notifications?

As far as I can tell we can't enable the "System UI Tuner".

I held, by nothing happened.. I know I read that there was something disabled on the Samsung phones. What is the feature called? And also, this does seem so fast to be worth the upgrade..

I think you are mistaken about this. The functionality you are referring to is called the "system UI Tuner" and as far as I can tell Samsung has disabled this feature. If anyone can figure out how to enable it, other than the long press on the gear... which doesn't work, I'm all ears.
