Hi, guys I got rooted Motorola Photon 4G. After I installed Motorola system software from device itself, it couldn't reboot. It shows "failed to boot 2'
"Starting RSD mode" and hang up............ When I boot manually by removing battery it boot open home page and shut down after 5-10 second. Is there any body to solve this huge issue. If resolved I would never him or her even after my death. If you think I need to donate some I will do that too.

After i used "basebandswitcher V4 multilanguage V0.6 (07.06.2011)"
on my XT720 my device is stuck in an endless Boot screen loop. Here's a list of things i have tried thus far to no avail:
Go into recovery mode and:
-Clear Cache
-data/factory reset
Flash Rom with RSD Lite with 3 different versions:
-Cincinnati Bell TR_U2_04.1E.1
-Korean Motoroi XT720 2.2
-UK_STR_U2_01.1E.0
Boot Phone without SD Card
Pull out battery for 24hrs and boot phone(with and without SD Card)
I'm not sure if theres a way to get into the phone's files to try and change them because I'm sure that on boot it tries to boot but when it tries to enable the phone modem it has an internal error. On the device screen the only thing i get is the black background with the white "M" Motorola logo in the center. The screen then shuts off and restarts the "M" logo.
So what I'm wondering is if anyone has any other ideas to give me to try. I'm definitely not a veteran with the Android Platform and I've only had the phone for a fiew weeks but i can figure pretty much anything out (usually)
To everyone willing to help, thanks allot.

bumping myself for help
bumping for help, i have same issue.
Got same problem. It happened after I took a picture. Any idea ?
I have the AT&T variant (D800), and got a popup that a software update from AT&T was available, so I tried to install it. The phone was rooted, and I think I had the stock recovery. I tried to flash CWM using ROM Manager from the Play Store, but everytime I tried to boot into recovery I got the "Error: boot certification error" on the LG logo screen.
So I tried to get the software update, which turned the phone off. It didn't boot up for like half an hour, so I tried to turn it on. I got the "Boot certification error," and then the phone went to the black screen. If I shut down by holding the power button and then turn it on again, same thing happens. Before, doing this would have booted the phone into the OS. Now it just repeats the error. What can I do? I'm getting it warrantied tomorrow, but if it's possible I'd like to avoid it.
Hey everyone.
A weird thing happened to me. I ran an OTA update for my phone (not rooted or any other "personal adjustments"). The phone since then has been stuck on the booting screen. Any idea of what to do? (except factory reset which I am trying to avoid?)
The model is the Mi4 16GB
Hope you could help me ASAP (I wonder if I need a Safe Mode startup?)
Also,
Everytime I want to turn off the phone it just resets itself back to the boot screen (where I see the "mi" logo at the center and "android" at the bottom"
Please please help
Hello XDA!
This morning, I attempted to flash Cyanogenmod 12 (CM12) onto my Google Nexus 6 using this youtube tutorial that I cannot link in this post, because I am a new member. The title of the video is "How to install CyanogenMod 12 Official Lollipop on the Nexus 6" It can be found on youtube.
Whenever I boot up the phone, it shows the "Google" screen. then the Cyanogenmod boot animation appears. A white popup shows up saying "Android is Starting Up. Finishing Boot" The entire screen then comes to life with cyanogen's default background. Finally, an error message consumes the screen saying "ENCRYPTION UNSUCCESSFUL. Encryption was interrupted and can't complete. As a result, the data on your phone is no longer accessible. To resume using your phone, we need to preform a factory reset. When you restore your phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to restore any data that was backed up to your google account." The only button shown on the screen says "RESET PHONE". If clicked, the phone reboots, but before it can boot it gets stuck loading the TWRP Recovery application. What happens is, it'll show the TWRP logo, then the screen will turn off, then it'll show the TWRP logo again, then this loop will repeat endlessly. The only thing that I could do was reboot the phone into the boot loader by holding down the power button, and the volume down button. From here, I attempted to boot into recovery mode. The same thing happens, the TWRP screen loads, then disappears, and that just repeats itself endlessly. I also tried to preform a factory reset, but that didn't work.
As you can see, I really need some help.
The encryption failing may be caused because I came off of a custom ROM where I had the phone's encryption disabled.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, and if I can provide any information, please ask.
Was attempting to flash Android 11 to my 4a since I couldn't stand 12's UI, and in the middle of the process, accidentally hit the power button and now my phone says it's corrupted, any attempt to boot it results in it being stuck on the Google logo screen, and my PC won't detect it anymore. Am I screwed or is there a solution to this?
EDIT: I've made it into fastboot, unsure of what I should do from here, enter reason says "no valid slot to boot".
EDIT2: Attempted recovery mode, screen says No command, and my PC now detects it, however it says it's unauthorized.
NEVERMIND, lots of reboots and eventually getting my PC and Android Flash Tool to recognize the phone let me force flash it and it's fixed now.
