[Q] Cannot opened <Fring>. What is good for Rooted mmx A75 with ROM (ub-A75-1)

I wanna test Fring (the video call) in my MMX A75 rooted with ROM <UB-A75-1> . But after successfully installed over the phone from googleplaystore, I open the fring app and it start opening but with a spinning/loading circle round and round and it never open completely. So I cannot do anything like registration even. After longtime, i press homescreen button and go to phone menu list and tried to open <contact> to make someone a call. But the contact list cannot be opened because of this fring loaded earlier, so i uninstall the fring, then only i can start up and see all my <contact list>.. I have lots of double/triple records of same names and same numbers in my contact list (phonebook). Is this be the reason i cannot open fring app completely.???!! PLIS TELL ME WHAT TO DO.
And plis suggest one apps for free vidoe/voice calls that would work good for my rooted mmx A75 with rom <ub-a75-1>. Thanks in advance.

Fring is known not to work on some phones. A lot of them actually. Some good alternatives to try are: Viber,and KakaoTalk

call out name when recieve calls

hey guys,
is there any app which calls out names of the caller ? OFFLINE for Android 2.0+
i searched a lot and found many apps, but all of them were online, i want an app which recalls names offline !

Maybe you can use tasker, use the say-action with the %CNAME tag. Just google "say caller name tasker" will give you a lot topics and guides on this subject ;p

[Q] Contacts not syncing properly

Hi Guys !
I am new here so please spare me if this is a noob question.
I just got my Oneplus One and I love it !
However, my contacts wont sync properly .. so.. if i save a number 04xxxx but when the call or text comes in and the network by default shows it as + 61 ( country code) 4xxx then they show as different contact and don't come up in caller ID or are saved as another text thread for incoming messages.
Any one knows how to fix this ?

very simple just edit you phone numbers and add country code to the phone numbers i know it is a long process . but it will definitely gonna work.
for eg :-
name : john
mobile : 99999999
~to~
name : john
number : +6199999999
press thank as many times as possible

In order to get the Whatsapp Calling feature you need to have at least version 2.11.561 from APKMIRROR or Update from Google Playstore .
To get invited whatsapp on one of numbers given below. write in whatsapp message "XDA".
When person calls you just pick up call.. and hang it after few seconds...(alteast 1 sec)
Be fast to get activated otherwise activation server will be down.

Just update your whatsapp from playstore or apkmirror or official site. Your whatsapp application base atleast be 2.11.52 to get calling feature. After updating ur app ping me on whatsapp Number removed . write xda and will call u back. please update ur application as fast as possible. server is up now. don't know how long it will be up. so don't lose ur chance....

Guys Now those who didn't get calling feature will have to wait till indefinite time . Because Activation SERVER down again.
after IST 10:00 PM no new one is getting activated.. i did my best ....

I got my whatsapp calling on 13-feb(Friday) i was on ver 2.11.508. again Server up on this friday i.e. 20-feb so we can expect that again activation server will up next friday(27-feb) or soon... keep your whatsapp updated...

There is a much simpler way via the command line you can enable calls on whatsapp.

yea but I think this command only enables the interface not the ability to call someone (the call won't work), doesn't it?

I m just looking to activate CALL NAME ANNOUNCER (vocal name when you receive a call) on honor 6x .
Where Can I find it this option parameter ( I m lost ! ) ?

I think that you re speaking about other option .
