[Q] programing

hey guys, new to the world of android and programing but would love to learn to write my own apps and become a developer. i was looking at these 2 sites. dose anyone here know if they are legit or is there somewhere else a newbie with no programing experience can learn to program for android. below are the links.
the website is edumobile.org and basic4ppc.com
thanks
I got started long ago with books and source code examples. They are a great way to learn how to program. I would suggest a book about java then a book for android development.
C+++, java, sdk
it's all the education

If you have no programming experience, you definitely should get it first. Solid understanding of Java and OOP is a must for an Android developer.
All platform specific information along with an app examples could be found on developer.android.com and most of the FAQs are answered on stackoverflow.

Beginner developer

I have recently discovered that I would love to start developing Android apps as a hobby and I have completed this set of lessons - http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/creating-project.html - successfully but now I want to learn more.
If anybody has any "making of" videos/series of people developing apps (in Eclipse) then please can you link it here.
Thank you.
I would suggest learning java first.

First question's first: what programming language(s) do you know? Do you know XML/Java/C/C++/Obj. C/etc. That will help us give you better links.

I've not a link but a recommendation. If you know java, a bit more then the basics, then read the books from "Reto Meier". He has two different books, one for android 2.x and one for 4.x. He's an android advokat at Google and he explans nearly everything.

Hi, you can check out the App Development Forums. It has many useful infos and links to Guides. Cheers!
Hi!
If you want to develop with android studio,
you have to learn first java and the basics at xml. I think the best way is to read a book or a tutorial. Better read a new book for android studio because android updates regular with new features.
Thank you.

I want to develop an Android Application

Hello people
XDA is full of skilled developers. I want to know their opinion on how hard it is to learn developing an android applications its own. I do understand the programming language, in past I was trying to learn C ++, PHP so I am kind of familier with programming languages. I would be grateful if you anyone could answer following questions.
What all languages are required to know to start developing Android apps
Where could I start from
Please suggest me resources/tutorial (video, ebook, online tutorial) that can help me learn android development.
I would be very thankful.
Regards
Suzi
Java is the best language
Download the AIDE app from play store
This belongs in the Q&A section since your not actually posting an app

[CLOSED] Mobile App Development Information

I am a novice and am interested in Mobile App Development for Android and would like to know what programming languages and computing concepts are required for becoming proficient with App Development ?
I skimmed through a few college websites in the field of Mobile App Development and saw that Java was a core requirement for developing apps for Android. Since I don't know Java, and programming concepts, what do you recommend for me to get started with first and then what other things I should know ?
Any help would be appreciated.
