Good day!! just new for this site... I want to ask how to troubleshoot my motorola xoom game; WHERE'S MY WATER? i have a full version but wont work if WIFI is off.. Oh plss help
THANKS MUCH
Doesn't work for me either. And I've heard others.
I'll go ahead and guess that the devs made it that way on purpose.
I hate when it requires WiFi to use an app , but you can try using LuckyPatcher and remove license verification. Don't worry it's not warez, as you bought the app and is only removing one little thing... Good luck (worked fine with some games here, Zenonia 4 also didn't work)

Ive tried many different version of applanete but none have been working so far, it just doesnt show anuthing
Please help
Easy fix...
Open the Android Market. Find the app you're looking for, and install it. If it's a paid app, purchase it.
Don't steal from developers that put a lot of time into making quality apps that make your phone better. If you can't afford the app, then use the free version or do without. Or learn how to make your own, put hours, days, months worth of work into it, and give it away for free.

So ****ing true buy it..

Guys and Gals of XDA, I think I've found the Holy Grail for the Xperia Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awindinc.sphone2tv&hl=en
A little app called MirrorOP Sender. Fully functional Android display mirror to PC and it runs fairly well.
Just played the first level of Super Mario Bros with only 1 death...Streamed from my Play to my PC connected to my TV through HDMI
All you need is the MirrorOP Receiver for the PC and you're good to go:
http://www.mirrorop.com/product_Windows_Receiver.html
The sender app is only a trial but it's worth a test. I'm not sure if the framerate is connected to how good your internet connection is. My internet isn't that good and it displays fine (portrait and landscape) but from some American speedtests I've seen maybe some of the Americans in here might have better results
Going to give ago. If works, extremely good find

Not bad, not bad at all! Excellent find!
Just found out you can also do it the opposite way as well if you get the MirrorOP receiver for your Play and Sender for PC
Runs brilliantly and means I can still access my desktop from the comfort of the toilet
Root only.
Awwwww
lags, dont know why
Tried it out will be perfect if it didn't lag..... Atleast for games and videos ..... But displaying pictures are ok enough......

Not to mention its like THE EASIEST PHONE TO ROOT EVER. None of those ridiculous tools that Motorola phones need to achieve root, no worry of s-off or any of that crap. I pity the Foo who doesn't zergrush his Xperia PLAY first thing.

Haha...pity the foo. But seriously rooting is completely reversable & easy to do like others will tell u.

Can you try the app before.you buy or must you buy first? After reading the comments here and in Play Store is it true to say the app is still slow & needs some work or is it worth buying now?

Not worth paying for yet as just to slow for games. Can test out first as the apps are free for demo time. But this does have lots of potential in the long run. Still early days yet but if see how good splashtop is, this app good just be as good and fast with some more work done to it.

Has anyone used this to stream" Miirror" the same image, like a movie, to multiple devices(i have some android phones, an I pad, note10.1) and i would like to mount them in my car, or share a presentation at work to multiple devices, etc and have all play the same video at once.
Any experiences?

Very good find, but instead this exactly like VNC for Android?
I was using one, called Droid VNC server by Jose Pereira. (Sorry, I can put links right now )
Nook Color. On CM9. 'Nuff said.
I just put a anti virus program on my girlfriends laptop and immediately I began to see a big change in how the pc functioned better in a number of areas, so I was wondering with these android phones would it be advised to use a antivirus? If so what are some good ones to use?

so your girlfriend might have lots of viruses on her laptop if it works better after installing an anti virus software i dont use any anti virus programms on my android - its kinda annoying (always scanning the phone)

If you don't sideload a lot I would say you don't need it. I've never had to but then again I barely download apps since we all are flash addicts

i never understood the point, i just look at what permission are given and if they are really need and the explanation of what and why they need access to what.. for example if i download a weather widget and they want access to my contacts and phone state that could be a issue of malware or fishing or whatever.. just my two cents..
There are apps on the internet that have malicious codes. Only if you get your apps on illegaly ways, you will need it. But if you download everything from play store (recommed) you don't need to bothed about virusses

Ok cool 90% of the apps I dl are from the play store if not there from here so i guess ill opt out of the antivirus program but I do thank everyone for giving there advice

I have never used an anti virus for my shift... I haven't found a reason to...

Yea I used one for about a week.. Got tired of it saying I'm not protected because I had root, and said f*** it.

If anything malicious is going to attack your phone, and it's made properly by people that know what they are doing, it's gonna be able to bypass antivirus software, just like it will with the superuser app... Just be smart about what you download and you should be ok...
Sent from my PG06100
Antivirus on any device is like any other form of security...you probably don't need it, but some people like to have it just in case.
If you're not trolling blackmarket apps, then you're probably fine.
Is that 100% safe? No. But as it was mentioned, if someone wants to **** your **** up, they will, until a solution is made after the fact....but not many reasons for that yet.
Definitely not

Avast! can install as root installation, that's what I use and it works fine. It also tracks down apps that are having suspicious activities, mostly apps from the amazon app store which probably are not monitored as much as the Play Store apps.. I also use Avast! on my home pc, it's just that good..

1) There's a rule you're breaking by mentioning this on xda.
2) There's no benefit for the xda community that you want to circumvent DRM protection.

1) No problem, my response is a lot nicer than how the mods will respond to this inquiry.
2) There are a few games (really game developers) that have started instituting mandatory Internet connection in order to actually play their games. EA Sports, Gameloft, and I'm sure a few others do this to cut down on piracy. It verifies the license online then let's you play.

1.Thanx for being so nice
2.Well i read on this forum that this game works fine on other phones and tablets and noone mentioned this license check issue so that is why i asked
Yeah the forum mods are very very strict on this sort of thing. I got a warning once for simply mentioning "alternative" ways to download something. So I don't think you'll get much help here.
And the other guy is right, a lot of game makers, and developers in general, are requiring their apps to check and make sure the app is genuine or whatever, they want to make sure you paid for it.
I just got the free trial of redbox streaming, and the app wont play on my phone cause its rooted. Im using Jedi Mind Trick X3. Is there a way around this? They stated on their site that it wont work on rooted android devices....and it dont. I know it's probably too early for this but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Those who need to, you can use OTA Root Keeper App from Play. Use it to temp Unroot your phone and all will be well.
