Dear all
Yesterday I was searching in google images from my default browser and I noticed the layout is changed and you can view the list results by scroll down the page. The more you scroll the more it loads images until u reach the bottom of the page. Unfortunately the number of results are very less and there is nothing to press to take you to second page.
Btw I used very common words in my key search example android samsung...etc
Can you try this and check if you encounter the same thing I do have?

Has anyone been able to get Facebook Chat Heads to work properly on the Note 10.1?
I'm running stock rooted TouchWiz with Nova Launcher and have chat heads enabled in the Messenger settings, but I never get the chat head bubble when I get new message.
Thanks in advance.

I use today an xperia z tablet and when you receive a new message from Facebook the bubble appear immediately on the screen, but on this tablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, it doesn't appear immediately. That's weird. I hope someone post a solution
No one's knows why Facebook chat heads doesn't work properly on Galaxy Note 10.1?

Just found a temporary fix: go to messenger settings > chat heads and uncheck option 'Hide when using apps that take up the full screen'. Now the chat heads should be visible until you close them by dragging to close button. Still, you lose the option to hide them while using full screen apps.

I just found a way to force chat heads!
Hi there. When viewing a website in Chrome, if I click "settings" (three dots in the top right corner) then "share", it goes straight into a new email in Gmail.
Previously I am sure it used to give me some share options like twitter, hangouts etc.
Any suggestions? I've tried deleting the defaults from app settings for both Chrome and Gmail but it makes nowdifference!!
Thanks in advance
Jonny
Bump. Anyone else getting this problem?

exact same thing here. I experienced the same issue also with Google Keep and YouTube apps, while sharing an address with Google Maps or a photo via the Photos app works perfectly fine.
no root, no custom roms.
Thanks everyone.
I just deleted all gmail data and deactivated. Then the share menu options in chrome appeared again.
However as soon as I reactivated gmail, chrome went back to defaulting to gmail as its share option.
What the hell??!

I've also tried to revert back everything to default, yet it didn't work. it looks like gmail took over as default sharing option for chrome and YouTube. :\

I'm certain this wasn't the case a couple of weeks ago?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I cannot point out if this happened after a chrome update or after I played around with the settings: I've had the N5 for about a week now, and I'm positive that the first couple of days everything worked just fine.

For the record the same behaviour is in chrome beta...

update: I'm experiencing the issue also when trying to share something from the tumblr app.
the mystery continues...

Been having this issue too in
Chrome
Tumblr
YouTube
And it's getting on my nerves. There are no defaults set for any of these apps, and the only way I can "fix" it is by disabling Gmail. If anyone else has any advice, please share.
I'd like to know if a full factory reset fixes this. (Although don't want to do it myself!)
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I've been playing around with other Android smartphones and seems that this behaviour is because gmail is the default app for sharing using a particular sharing instance, which is the one used in chrome, tumblr, youtube, etc..
I sincerly hope that a factory reset isn't the only choice here.
any news?

Got this from the Google Product Forums...
OK we've identified an issue in Android 4.4 that can cause this problem, which we're investigating a fix for.
As a workaround you should be able to go to Settings > Apps > menu > Reset app preferences to fix this, but note that this will clear all of your stored app preferences (basically every time you've ever had an app launch to complete a task and it's offered to do it Always or Just once -- your device will forget all of those choices you've made in the past and you'll get to make them again).

For those of you like myself who are fed up with Facebook no longer having the option to sort your news feed to "Most Recent" as the default view, here is a link to the last version of the official Facebook app (7.0.0.26.28) that still had that option available :

Can I have both?

No, it's either one or the other. You're choice.

Could you do this if I give you latest alpha 12.0.0.12
No, I didn't modify anything. This is just the last version that Facebook published that had the option to set most recent as the default view.

Oh
The latest Facebook update now has the Most Recent option, albeit hidden in the More menu on the right.

It's always been there - it just lets you see Most Recent when you press on it. It doesn't change the sort order of the main news feed. When you go back to the feed tab it will be Top Stories again.
Thanks to the OP for posting the 7.0.0.26.28 version... it really does work as I intend. I know of no person who thinks OLD And Already Viewed Stories are better than MOST RECENT.
