KD8DNS works for AT&T, so I doubt it. Also, he's never been wrong in the past.

This is the most solid thing we've seen regarding the Fuze to date. Fake? I highly doubt it. But all things are subject to change when it comes to AT&T so we're just patiently playing the waiting game. And trying to convince our significant others that the phone isn't just a new toy to support my tech obsession, it's an investment

It confirms the already solid evidence we had for the 11th, the email that was leaked.

Those accessories are just universal crap ones I.E. micro sd, bluetooth, etc etc. There is a silicone one that will be avail. But I have seen pics of it yet.
And if you think its fake thats fine, I guess my internal AT&T intranet is fake as well. If if you want to call me fake then ill delete my post and never give out inside info again!

Thanks D8DNS!!! I have a very good relationship with the manager at the retail store by my office. He confirmed the 11th date and there are 4 on a truck on the way to his store from Memphis and should arrive Monday. He said he will give me a call probably late Monday morning to come in and pick up my Fuze!!! Goodbye iPhoney!!! As you may already know, he is one of our best bets to a fully working Android. He has helped a lot, along with other wonderful people that bring us the best of their knowledge.
Well, I don't know how many of you donated money for this project, but it's definitely necessary to provide our developers with test devices.

I've taken a quick look at eBay and found some for about $195. Maybe we could find a bargain there.

I received a message from mssmison. I have just realized that his original device was a Vogue, not a Polaris Sorry, I misunderstood it.
Well, I'm going to change the topic of this thread to fit the reality. My proposal is this: now that a donation link is set up, we could use it to raise the numbers enough to buy a Polaris, too. If you make a donation, specify that it is to buy a Polaris.
I trust that mssmison will be honest and he will get one once he gets the money. I will send him a PM to inform about it.
He told me that he's going to use it as a test device and extra phone to develop for. This could make possible to fix things quickly!
You've got to take into consideration that Vogue and Polaris are similar devices, but not the same, and we have way less developers... I think this is the only mean to keep the dev scene alive.

Hi
I took the plunge and bought the S4 clone/knock off No1 S6. It arrived in the UK from Hong Kong (day after it was posted! great service from Android-Inside). First impressions are that it is a good phone with a great screen. I wanted to post a reply in Manuxo's thread but as a newbie I'm not allowed. If anyone has any (basic) questions about the phone/spec etc please feel free to post.:laugh:

Had this phone a week now but will be trying to get a replacement for two main reasons:
1. Phone constantly freezes and reboots. I've done a factory restore but has made no difference.
2. Phone will not connect to mobile data - tried everything suggested by my network (vodafone UK) but nothing fixes the bug.
If the phone did the basics correctly I would be more than happy.
The next part of the adventure is to see what kind of customer service I get from Android-Inside
In response to your questions - battery lasts OK but obviously due to restrictions I've not used the phone at full throttle. I bought a cheap case from Ebay - the fit is not great but that's probably due to the case. I think better quality S4 accessories would fit fine.

You can ask your phone to be replaced but every phone with this version of android installed (4.2.1) have this issues so i think it is better to wait an software update.
If you ask for a replacement you can wait for a lonnnggg time until you have your phone back.

Just a word of warning - after much tweaking and messing about it's now working reasonably well. However don't expect this to be a genuine alternative to a Galaxy S4 or iPhone, there are too many issues and problems. the best place to look is 'mychinesephone.com' where you will find loads of info. they also have a shop where you can buy the phone if you still want one

Wait, they ll answer. Notice that till Oct 5-7 they have holidays. They had sent me the return address of chinapadmall, i don't see any reason they ll not help you. If they don't answer even after holidays in next week, open a dispute in your paypal transaction

I sincerely hope I'm wrong obviously, but so far it would appear that just like every other great-looking-magnetic-USB-c-funded-by-kickstarter item, this one too is also nothing more than a fraud and a sham. It's extremely sad, really.

People have been doing reviews of it on YouTube so they have been giving them to people. I heard about it from the YouTube channel coolosertech. I really hope this isn't a scam or anything.

Have been looking on ebay at phones released around 2-3yrs ago for a new(used) upgrade from my current HTC ONE X... but I'm not familiar with all the smartphone tech, or issues, or what's decent/bad etc..
Originally I looked at the LG NEXUS 5X, then read it's got a fault that causes it to fail/Bootloop (eventually). Few people said, there's other phones in similar price range that would be better, though none suggested any (yet). Then I looked at the NEXUS 6P, but, I read again, these have a bootloop fault too ??
Are there any phones that have gotten a good reputation, probably 2014> that still perform well today, but aren't plagued with hardware faults? I don't mind if I have to repair / reflash firmware etc.. as one reason I look at ebay, hope to pickup a phone for cheap (due to broken.. ie screen, not starting up), then fix it.
Price range, around $100, but obviously price for phone will vary depending on phone and condition etc..
[edit] I should have noted, I'm from Australia, so phone prices vary here. Maybe, if you can, throw some suggestions my way, and I'll look around based on what I can spend.
Suggestions on what to look out for ?
