Yes, it will happen, and officially from Google too. For now we wait though.

Total Ram is about 403 MB...
And available ranges from 50 - 200 MB.....
Matr1x kernel v22...
All in all a pretty quick port of Jelly Bean, unfinished though it may be.
Google claims that it will be available for us Nexus S users mid-July officially. I'm not so sure about that date and I'd sure like to see if a "daily" port of JB is any lighter for our device than ICS. I really like ICS but it feels like our phone is slow no matter what ROM+kernel combo we might use compared to GB. I think that patience is key for this update...
anybody know?
the lastest firmware rom is the 4.0.3 of ATT, when they relase the Jelly bean?

Probably never. Google things that are easily answered. Try the unofficial leak, better than official. Mod close 'er up!

+1. Ask your carrier, they don't know either. Or they'll give you an answer you can't trust anyway.

I've actually attempted to get an answer from AT&T several times (all of which occurred before I began rooting my phone and installing new ROMs) and they kinda suck monkey a$$ when it comes to giving info on what we (the client) ask. It took me about a 45 min call or a 12 page chat to get their supervisors to finally admit that they don't have one because each one always tried to "get more information for me"

OP asked a reasonable question, and might be useful for someone with the same inquiry...At the end this is a discussion forum..It's obvious that at&t is useless answering such inquiries..If you don't like the thread don't make it a flaming area...Simply don't post in it...

The leaked ROM is really nice. I get at least almost as good batter life as I did on CM10 nightlies. The OS itself is stable. I did notice that the memo app FCs. But that's the only app I have had an issue with and, well, that's not that important an app.
I do miss a few feature from CM10, though. I like having profile access from the power menu, etc.

I just updated mine to 4.0.4, kernal 3.0.8, IMM76d.UCLF6 using Samsung Kies. I called AT&T just once and never did again. Even though they did point me to the Samsung Kies. I know not to call them about anything and to look at place like here for info. I don't know what verison this is (IMM76d). But I would start with Kies to get what is out offically and then go from their.
hey So my question is very simple, are we ever going to have version 4.2 Since Note 2 has it? I dont know if the 4.2 Sources are out but If they are or If the Come out will it be a possibility for Release on the at 8013 8010 8000 ?

Officially I do not thin 4.2 will be out anytime soon personally I do not like the UI of 4.2 as it is phone oriented and not tablet
For the new users I would suggest wait for the CM stable release to come out before you install it Nightly will have issues
You will likely never see official stable for this device or any other exynos4 device due to lack of cooperation from Samsung.
It's perfectly usable for 90%+ of people, but some of the issues with it are major for some... Like if you need HDMI output, you won't be seeing it any time soon, same for Samsung's wired keyboard since all of the developers have Bluetooth keyboards.

Does S-Note features work? S-Pen and all...
I hope the rumors from sam mobile about getting 4.2 or even 5.0 are true. After all... It is a very powerful device and it deserves some goodness. ... And so do we!
I'd prefer an official update...because of tw framework. I like cm a lot, i would flash it any time. but it is not so functional on this baby.
maybe soon?
The Galaxy tab 2 and the note 8 got 4.2.2 this week so who we could be soon perhaps. Although the rumor mill (sam mobile) says that Samsung might just skip to 4.3 for some higher end devices.

Hi
Samsung is starting to release Android 4.2.2 updates to some devices, and the Note II's "big brother" got it too: http://www.sammobile.com/2013/08/03...en-released-for-galaxy-note-8-0-lte-gt-n5120/
The specs are pretty similar, so I guess it's possible to port it.
Anyone wants to port it?
Sadly I have no knowledge in this

There is cm available for all variants.. Just look at their original android development.
