[Knowledge Sharing] Share your cell Temperature and Current (mA) - HTC Desire S

Hi Guys,
This thread is to share your cell idle temperature and current (mA) with the help of Battery Widget 3c.
I believe that lowest possible temperature and lowest current drain help to increase battery life.
I can remember when I had Htc Desire, I was able to to achieve 27 C with 4 to 5 mA current drain with @snq kernel.
So please share your cell information so we can know that what setup is best for longer battery.
Mine is as below :
Rom : Reaper-V3.0.0
Kernel : Reaper-V1.3
Radio : 3822.09.08.20_M
Idle Temperature : 30 to 32 centigrade
Idle Current : 9 to 12 mA

Please, could you post a link to the battery widget you mention. Using Current Widget I get far higher readings - idle current is 22mA. I'm on Endymion rom with 50mA undervolt. 3G and data are on.

Battery Widget link updated in OP.

Thanks, with this app the idle current usage is 12mA for my device too.
A small update after a day of collecting information - the lowest standby current was 8mA but most of the time it stays at 11mA.

Question: what should be classed as"too hot"
I'm running BlindIce with cm9 kernel and on demand governor and I get this most of the time, fair enough I'm using a live wallpaper but this can't be ok can it ?

It's taking too much current, it should be between 8 to 12 mA.

Things seem to have called down a little since I removed snakes battery thing that came on BlindIce though

[Q] wanna buy a sensation: standby battery drain experiences

Good evening
Will change my beloved hd2 with a sensation and want to know how good the standby drain is.
My hd2 got 2-5ma in standby.
The wildfire of my girlfriend under 1ma.
Can I expect similar values with a custom rom on the sensation?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
I'd say my Sensation on stock ROM consumes about 5% during the night, that's about 8 hours in my case. The battery is 1580 mah. So 5% of 1580 would be 79 mah. Divide that by 8 hours and you get about 10ma standby drain.

battery monitor widget is quite nice with its widget:
..thanks Firefall, im runing cm7 on both devices, so the battery drain is not comparable to sense roms I think.
Got a 1230mah battery in my hd2 and lose 2% overnight in airplane mode..
With a senseless or cm7 rom on a sensation i think i can expect some better standby battery drain.
I get around 3% drain at night in flight mode

Battery life!

How can i increase the battery life!? My battery drains really fast with light web use and listening to music, is there an app that can save me some battery usage or one that calibrate the battery?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA App
You could install a custom rom, which makes your Sensation faster, and makes the battery much better!
There is plenty to choose from.
I've got battery drain issues running CM 7 Alpha 7. How can I see what app is eating my battery? Both Settings>About Phone>Battery info and Spare parts under the Partial Wake selection show android system.
Is there any other way to see battery usage by specific app? Am I looking in the right area in Spare Parts?

You could download one of those task manager's or auto kill memory. But I don't got any experience about that.
And when you flashed, did you do full wipe and all that it said in the instructions ?
My battery life is pretty awesome...using anker batt...CM7 alpha 7 and faux kernel
I am planning to buy this phone what is the average battery back up of this phone if we use internet or try to listen music

I did im running Android Revolution HD 3.6.1 with stock kernel and for some reason the battery still drains!
It may not be the answer you are expecting, but the most effective route to better battery life is to buy a bigger battery. I bought the Anker battery and never looked back - it is massively better than the stock battery.
Look at the specs and power of this phone... Its more powerful than the avg pc 5 years ago. Arhd has givin me 20 hr cycles and i think that is amazing compared to a stock rom

Install Bricked kernel. Set max clock to <1GHz, min to 192 GHz and under volt 50mA... Will add ~50% right there. Get a non stick ROM for another ~25%.

Show off your battery life!

Haven't seen this thread in our forum so apologies if there is one deep down somewhere but a lot of people have concerns about their battery life. I thought it would be good to get people showing how long their battery lasts.
Please share a screenshot, the name of your ROM and anything else you have done such as radio/kernel changes.
I would share mine but my battery is still in the process of dying!
Up to 5 days normally

I have cm nightly rel 2 and cm kernel. if I dont using phone, batt life is more better as in stock rom. But if I using it (wifi net...) batt go down too quickly.

Hey dan-fish, wanted to create a post about battery life but then i found this.
Could u maybe edit your post a bit? like adding a poll and changing it from 'battery life' to 'screen on time'(which i believe should be a major battery eater) as battery life alone would be a bit deceiving as i can leave my phone in deep sleep for days, and my mom will come asking me after seeing the poll is it something wrong with her phone because she charges it daily.
But i however do notice that i can drag the battery life as long as i am conservative on the sceen on time. of course there are many other major factors in terms of screen on such as duration of the screen(battery heats up and drains faster), reading news or playing a video or a game, downloading, deep sleep, wakelock and so on.
When I get to a computer I shall
A poll about what?

Screen-on time with CM10

Hey guys,
Was wondering if you could share some screen-on time screenshots of your One X on CM10. I have one coming in the mail and am getting a little anxious regarding the battery life.
Would prefer screenshots of normal use please!
Thanks in advance

With the stock ROM I was only getting 8-10 hours of battery life.
I switched to CM 10 and ever since my battery life has gotten MUCH better. On average now I can get 16+ hours out of my phone.

No, I have only been running CM10 for less than a week.
The big difference for that day was that I wasn't using Play Music to stream for an hour or more a day, and I have cut out almost all background syncs - only fb and K9 mail with one Gmail account.
Normally I get a little over 2:00 screen on time. That was just a good day.

[Q] Battery discharging by 2%

I don't know if it is a problem with my battery, or my phone, or even the ROM but whenever my phone is discharging it discharges by 2%. I just changed the battery to an Anker 1900mAh battery (brand new from Amazon). I've been using AlbinoMan887's ROM and I have done everything from discharging the battery and recharging it, wiping it full and even reseating the battery. Does anyone else have this problem? What can I do?
