Whate are some fun games for our phone that you guys play and keep you busy when youre bored at work or any other places. So far these are the games ive played and have had no issue with them.

I'm simple. I play lots of games but 2 that I always have on my phone is:
Kingdoms Live
Word Feud
All the other games I pick up, play, and enjoy... but those 2 multiplayer games make sure that I keep coming back.
That DeathWorm game is pretty fun. I might buy that one. There is a multiplayer Golf game that I really enjoyed too although I don't play it much, its a 2D simple golf game.... Droid Mini Golf - Pro
I've also played through Nova 1 and 2. Very fun.
Battleheart is another awesome game I try to get into but my kid keeps erasing my save.
JetCarStunts is a super sweet stunt race car game... very hard
MiniGore is also fun
Age of Zombies is also a sweet, funny game
Drag Racing is also an addicting game once you start getting your car setup and winning races.

Anyone know how to convert Apple games to Android apk's?
I really want "Zombie Highway" on my G2X and my Xoom tablet...

Fpse is my favorite, still think its amazing that i can play ps1 games on my phone at full sleep. So far i have played and beaten resident evil nemisis and metal gear solid. Also can confirm that road rash 3D, and driver 2 play perfect.

Asphalt 6 runs like a dream
Deflecticon is a fun little game like 3D pong Tron style.
SpeedX 3D just POPS on this beautiful screen!
Stardunk is addictive and there's online contests every two minutes!
GTFree+ HD is a good driving simulator that's a lot like Gran Turismo, and BEAUTIFUL at that!
Ace's Brickbreaker 3D is a nice time-waster
Caligo Chaser works really well as a time-wasting RPG
And the LAST one I recommend is Dead Space.
I haven't seen anyone else who has it, I got it off a Galaxy S phone from backing up the APK using APKPro, and you have to use ChainFire 3D Pro to load a PowerVR GFX plugin in order to get the graphics to work right. A lot of work, but a SOLID game!

I LOVE Refraction, Apparatus and Doodle Fit. Got them free off Amazon's Free App of the Day and honestly they're worth paying for. I also have nothing but good to say about X Construction, a bridge-building game. I bought that one legit.
All of them are puzzle/problem-solving games, which I just love. Anyone got any other really good ones?

Plants vs Zombies, Monopoly, Cartoon Wars are some of my favorite apps. I find myself addicted to Monopoly at times.

grand theft auto!

If you want some graphic extensive game you may want to give dead space, modern combat 3, and shadowgun a try

+1 for shadow gun...Asphalt 6, Backbreaker, Madden 12, NBA Jam

If you are looking to use the full potential of what your phone is capable of...
PlayStation emulators are pretty sweet, especially if you have a ps3 controller you can hook up to your phone.
Shadowgun is like gears of war for your phone with amazing graphics and gameplay (one of the best to date)
Backstab HD, Six Guns are some wicked awesome rpg/action/adventure games with crazy good graphics and huge in game worlds.
Order and Chaos is probably the highest polished mmorpg with best population. Great gameplay as well.
GTA III .... do I have to say anything else? Its the real live full game!!
Freeplay is the new free Sims game pretty cool if your into that...
I like Osmos alot as well... nothing crazy just simple and looks really cool haha

+1, i love let's golf 3 I'll play it till my phone dies. Some people complain because it costs energy to pay a hole but if your half way decent at it you can earn every free by playing online.

Looking for a adventure/RPG/quest type game

I am not the biggest gamer...having played a little WoW back in the day, and first two Diablo games....which I liked a great deal...and a few others.
What I am looking for (which might not exist yet) is an Android game that is RPG strategy with less emphasis on first person shooter (don't mind this, but don't want to play Resident Evil or XBox games that are all first person shooting games).
I also liked Sim games somewhat, but was hoping to find something like... Myst (which is an oldie I realize, but I am considering the Android platform) or maybe Diablo 1 or 2. Or, of course, but I know impossible, something like Skyrim... Something where I can immerse a character in a story and try to find clues/weapons/etc. toward completing an ultimate over-arching game goal (solve murder, prevent evil group takeover, or whatever).
I like the fantasy R&D themed games, but a modern storyline would be really cool.
Amy help is greatly appreciated!

How much does it cost? I'm just curious, and the Play page doesn't say, and none of the reviewers are, either. Looks good, though. This plays like a Zelda game?
To the OP: I've been playing games on Gameboid, a GBA emulator. It's not in Google Play, you have to go to the SlideMe market (web-based, you download the .apk and sideload it). I find it runs the GBA version of Zelda 3 better than the Super NES emulator runs the original, and the GBA version actually fixes a few things. So I've played that, and also the Castlevania games on my phone. Controls could be better but aren't terrible.

It's free on the gmarket across age, but if you want good emulator and apps you should download blackmart alpha on 4shared. I have gba,nintedo,supernintendo, and n64 emulators. Other fun game is gta3 and plants vs zombies on android

Ok thanks a lot for the responses.
I was looking around on the market and saw GTA3. I actually never played this (I hear it is a port of the original) but spent many hours of my life playing Driver on PS. The thing that I wanted to ask about which GTA3 brought to mind was off the games mentioned, one element that I was looking for (if the 3D is pretty good ...GTA3 really surprised me) is detailed and/or extensive environments. I loved Skyrim and virtually any MMO for this reason (but it doesn't need to be multi-player)... I think that's why adventure games always were the most interesting... In contest to FPS games anyway. Just the endless exploration of the game world...to me that is escapism at its best.
I am trying most of the games mentioned here in this thread, but if the above additional info triggers anyone's recollection of any others... please let me know!

My personal GREATEST GAMES list

Alright guys. I know it can be hard sifting through all the crap and spamware when trying to find something cool to play on our sgs4g. Well, I've done A LOT of sifting, and I'm here to bring you the best suggestions for games that YOU WILL enjoy, I promise. These are the greatest games I could find, and they aren't in any particular order. Don't be afraid to spend the money on these, because you won't regret it!
Zen Bound 2 - absolutely fantastic! So simple, and so addicting! Great graphics, that run SMOOTH on our device!
Age of Zombies - classic twin stick shooter. It doesn't get much better than this one.... except...
PewPew 2 - My favorite of all. Twin stick shooting acid trip meets geometry, with a funky soundtrack. EPIC GAME
Final Fantasy 1&3 - no explanation needed
Fruit Ninja - you all know what it is!
Inotia 3&4 - FREE epic rpg's. Absolutely great! Very detailed, and lengthy. Can't beat it, for free!
Oscura - Ever played Limbo? This is an upgrade to that great game.
Osmos - Very original game, totally worth your time.
Reckless Racing 1&2 - Absolutely the BEST racing games on android. Multiplayer doesn't lag at all! You will not get tired of these!
Super Stickman Golf - FREE!!!! Don't be turned off by "golf". This is totally original, and it's a blast!
World of Goo - very fun and creative!
Zombirds - forget angry birds, this is where it's at! and it's FREE!!!!
iFishing - best fishing sim I could find on android.
I could probably come up with more, but these are absolutely MUST PLAYS. Try them, and tell me what you think. Also, if you know of a game that you think is epic enough to be in the list, let me know!

I'll add a few of my favorites that haven't been mentioned yet in this thread.
Spirit HD - One of the most addictive and beautiful games I've ever played on a mobile device. It's like Geometry Wars meets NiGHTS. A must buy!
Where's My Water? - Don't get turned off cause it's made by Disney, this game is incredibly well polished. It's a water physics game that's insanely addictive and stays fresh when Cut the Rope goes stale.
Sonic CD - An accurate recreation of the 1993 Sega CD classic, fully made by a member of the Sonic the Hedgehog fan community and licensed by Sega. Much, much better than Sonic 4 Episodes 1 and 2.
Asphalt 6 - Really the only Gameloft game worth buying for our device, high speed arcade style racing at its best.

Asphault 6: Adrenaline by Gameloft.
-it is quite smooth on GB and ICS, I haven't tried Froyo.

Here's the next huge upcoming wave of android games: Avenger's Initiative, Alien vs Predator, Wild Blood, Heroes of Order and Chaos, Modern Combat 4, Demon's score, Zombie Driver, Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, Bard's Tale 2 and Bard's Tale 3. I thought Xperia Play is finished with how beautiful games like Juggernaut ROS and Horn were unplayable, but excellent old PC ports like POP Classic and Bard's Tale has now revived my hopes. I cannot expect every game to be optimised for Play, I just wan't them to be atleast playable.:fingers-crossed:

Where have you seen AvP coming and who it's made by. I knew about the rest but not seen that. Really hope that it's a modern take and not another arcade/mame port (do still play that version on my play). Thanks

Probably we are lucky because the CPU platform of the Xperia Play is found in some other popular devices and it's not difficult to get some kind of support, but I don't expect to see many gamepad optimizations. And, well, overclocking is our friend too.

Guys, I think there may be some confusion. The Bard's Tale 2 & 3 are just the old games from back in the 80's. You can play the first one by selecting it via the options in the main app where it states that the other two chapters (of the old version of the game) are coming soon. We are also informed about this in the description on Google Play.

AvP. Played tit to death on my Atari jaguar and pc. Hopes its the fps and not like the arcade from the 90s. Thanks for the update. Can't wait.
