[Q] Problems with Android revolution 6.1 & 7.1 - General Questions and Answers

I recently bought HTC ONE X and decided to install Android Revolution HD 7.1.
I unlocked first the bootloader, installed Clockworkmod recovery (5.8.18 or 5.8.28), then installed the zip file plus "super wipe" in the phone's virtual memory, run first the superwipe and then the romzip 7.1.
It took about 10-12 minutes to load the rom, everything was ok but there was no network signal. I tried to switch off the device and insert again the sim card but did not work.
Then i restored the original rom, did the same things again but this time I installed Android Revolution HD 6.1. The network signal was fine but as soon as I was dragging the ring to unlock the screen there was a message " Unfortunately, android.secure.acore stopped unexpectadly" or something like this and the screen turns black, no icons, nothing.
So I installed again the original rom.
Please, any suggestions how to fix this ?

[Q] Desire: Phone not booting after new ROM

Hi guys,
I've got a HTC Desire (Telstra) which I've used with a number of ROMs, most recently LeeDrOiD V3.0.8.2 GB Data++.
I was using the Bravo Oxygen HBOOT, note NOT the r2 version. I followed some guide around here on how to cut down the ROM at the time to fit on the smaller /system.
So anyway, this has all been working happily for a number of months. Yesterday I decided to upgrade to LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.3 Port R5 DATA++.
I downloaded the ROM to the SD card, did a full wipe + dalvik. Told it to install the ROM from the zip and that was all happy.
Reboot and the phone doesn't boot - just sits on the AlphaRev boot screen. I know you need to wait, I left it for a good half hour, but nothing.
I repeated the wiping + installing process two or three times without any luck.
Trying to work out what went wrong I came to the realization that I was using the non-v2 version of the Oxygen HBOOT so the thing was probably failing because of the different partition sizes.
I created a goldcard and flashed Oxygen r2 via a PB99IMG file which was successful.
Installed the ROM again (with wiping) but it's still doing the same thing - just sits on the Joker logo.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to proceed?

[Q] trouble installing other ROMs

hey guys,
i'm having a issue with flashing new ROMs. i am currently running android revolution HD 3.6.2. i was curious on trying a different roms and i tried to install insert coin 3.3.0 and clockwork said rom installed successfully after following the steps. but i get to a htc boot screen then the screen goes black then htc screen pops up again. i left the phone alone thinking it was just part of the first boot process. left the phone alone for 20 minutes still doing the same thing. so then i tried cm7, and got the same issue after following the sticky guide for cm7. i flashed back to hd and it booted fine. then i tried to use RUU to go back to stick, and the two tmobile versions up didnt work.
any suggestions? i am curious to try other roms.

Just kind of a basic step. If you go from one rpm to a completely different one your going to want to superwipe. Especially if they are different builds. You can flash an update like 3.6.1 to 3.6.2 but not ARHD to insertcoin. Try superwipe and flash a new Rom. Just make sure you make nand backup so you can always go back If something goes wrong.

[Q] ROM issues

I had a ROM for the HTC Desire installed and I wiped it to install a new ROM. Which didnt take, I kept getting an error message in the ROM installer. I took out the battery and kept trying til it fully installed but I posed with another problem, the touch screen no longer worked ( I also had trouble with while running the Android ROM but I could get it to work most of the time.). I only like to NAND installs as I only have 2GB SD cards (2) which are full as is. I would like to install the stock ROM but it wont download for me or I would like to install a better working ROM.
Everytime I try to install a ROM I get the same error messages in the ROM installer. How can I fix this and get a working ROM (whether it be Stock or otherwise) installed on to it?
(HTC HD2 T-Mobile)
Edit: Got the original ROM on but touch screen still not working. I have found out it could be the Digitizer, is there a way to fix this without sending it to HTC because I got mine from a friend (pretty much brand new) so the phone it not registered to me, only the sim card is.

[Q] Help installing OrDroid 2.1.1

I need help installing the OrDroid 2.1.1 OS released yesterday, I'm running on HTC sensation 4g, previously installed HD revolution OS on my phone in the past. I followed the installation instructions changning nothing and when I boot up my phone it only gets to the bootanimation before reseting and starting over. Does anyone know how to fix that?
You need to have Firmware 3.32 installed and you can find a guide here.
So I stupidly upgraded my firmwire without taking proper precautions, my HD revolution OS is stuck on a boot loop, I can run recovery mode just fine and every option on Hboot, but I'm curious if you would know how to fix that x_x.
I'm currently working on it right now
update: got it working perfectly thank you

Help with T-Mobile ICS

Hi,
I've recently had to replace my phone with another SENSATION 4G (bought second-hand, but new). I was originally running an older version of ARHD Gingerbread on my old SENSATION 4G and it was working great. The new phone came with a stock GB, so I decided to go ahead and initiate the ICS OTA update for my phone, but somehow in the middle, it failed. So what happened is that I corrupted my stock ROM and at the same time never had a chance to make a Nandroid backup. I then downloaded ARHD 6.7 ICS and sucessfully installed the custom ROM (followed all procedures to make sure my firmware and radio is updated), BUT everytime I rebooted into first boot, the screen would freeze at the Beats Audio logo (even tried leaving it on for 30min). I then tried different Sense-based ROMs (Elegancia, Dark Forest, original ICS RRU etc) but every time, it would hang at the boot screen. I thought my phone was bricked, but to my surprise, I was able to install smaller AOSP & AOKP based ROMs, like CM9 and Touchcream 2.1, and successfully boot and use them. I really want to be able to use Revolution HD roms to take advantage of my wifi calling, but now just cannot. I'm not totally new to this, as I've just upgraded my sister's Sensation 4G with ARHD 6.7 w/o any problems. I still don't understand why this is happening to my particular phone. Please let me know if you may have a hint of what the problem could be (could the failed OTA ICS update the root of my problem?). Thanks all.
flash a ICS RUU and see
here is the TMOUS ics ruu click me
