I was trying to use smart keyboard app (trial) but only the default Android keyboard comes up even though I have the other checked. It appears that the Android keyboard won't uncheck. Suggestions?
Also, what keyboard do you use?

I'm on gummycharge 2.0 and i want to uninstall the gingerbread keyboard that came with it so i can install the one from the market. I'm having some issues with it since the Spanish suggestions don't work even with the Spanish selected as the only language. It only shows english suggestions. Thanks in advanced.

Settings -> Language and Keyboard -> select input to choose what keybord to use.
No need to uninstall the other keyboard.

Install the keyboard you want, then when you try to type something long press in the text box, select Input Method, and select the keyboard you installed. In some cases you have to run an app first, as with SwiftKey X. No deleting of previous/preinstalled keyboards necessary.

You will be able to select the keyboard you want to use. The other one should not matter. I would recommend looking at hacker's keyboard on the Market. They are supposed to have good language support through the optional download packs.
