I need to Re-Flash with my 2.3.5 Firmware Galaxy R

Hey guys !!
my phone is unable to upload photos to FaceBook, since that is a major error, i tried reset my phone, but no use !!
still i have that problem, so i think i need to reflash with my Indian version of 2.3.5 GingerBread OS,
can any1 give me the link for necessary files ???

mate, that is Taiwan Rom, i need the Indian one which is official and unrooted/pure

[Q] Can't find a working SuperOneClick v2.3.3

hello,
i have tried lots and lots of downloads for the SuperOneClick and none of them work i keep getting this message when the download box appears. Please help

When it has .part on the end of the file name it means it did not finish downloading. Have you gone to shortfuse's website for a direct download link?

yes i want to root my phone here are the specs
firmware is 2.3.6
phone samsung galaxy s 4g (t mobile)
kernel 2.6.35.7 kj6
build number Gingerbread kj6
all of this is came on the phone when i bought it from tmobile.
i went to shortfuse to get the direct download took me to deposit files and download box appeared and i got this message
C:\Users\My Computer\Downloads\SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse.zip.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

I am using firefox idk if that has anything to do with it.
im new to this whole thing and want to root the phone so i can start doing things with it.

Oops... I uploaded the older version. It will still work but I will go ahead and upload 2.3.3 for you.

Same Error Message.

Then restart your computer. If that doesn't work. Try Internet Explorer or Chrome. Something is wrong on your end. That is my personal dropbox folder. I know it works.

Just a quick suggestion. Try disabling the virus scan on downloads in Firefox then try downloading it. I seem to recall having a similar problem a while ago with something I was downloading.
Don't forget to re-enable it after though lol

thanks for the suggestions guys but i guess its not ment for me to root nothing has worked.
* couldn't download to the pc so i went on the web on my phone and downloaded the file then transfered it to my pc. back in business*

Or... You can flash a custom ROM/kernel, that would get you root

I rooted my Galaxy S 4g with SuperOne Click. I will give you the link to download it later im at school. Not sure if its really 2.3.3. But it should still work and if it works you will get a new app called superuser.

He was able to download and root.

[Q] Stock Roms for GT-N8010 work on GT-N8013 ?

I have flashed a stock ROM for the GT-N8010 but my device is from USA it was GT-N803 model , now the flash counter is increased . What should i do ? I want to flash a United -Emirate firmware which is for the GT-N8010 model not my model . I want to also get official updates after the flash

to get to the offical ROM should i also flash stock recovery or stock kernal to make it work , i dont think i flashed custom kernals as well but how can i know if i did or not . is there a way to know what kernal is on my device ?
I have another problem which is when i want to download the firmware file from hotfile it is too large and when i try to download it it take about 6 hour and in that time the internet connection is interrupted for a second or more and i have to start from beginning .
the file is 1GB if someone help me to upload it to a website that download can be resumed or split this site and upload it in multiple part ,
please someone help me

Yes flashing a N8010 rom should be fine... You just have to suck it up and download man. Sorry.

there is not another source and i use internet download manager which is pretty good for other files

Stock firmwares

I remember in the old days when you could download stock firmwares for free but it now seems that whenever you click a download link you are pushed to a payment method to down load a stock firmware even on sammobile or could anyone point me in the right direction , ive been trying to download a copy of the BTU-N9005XXUDMK2 with no luck at all . thanks in advance

You should be able to download free from SAMMOBILE.COM have a scout around the forum, you'll see some mega links posted also

Might just be MEGA axcting up, happens the odd time, try again and see. It should be OK.

Can anyone upload to mega the 4.4.2 official update?

eventuyally downloaded and thank you but which version of odin would I use to install this , it is a single MD5 file .... I have both 1.85 and 3.09 on my computer ??

You can download from terafile and rapid gator for free. You might have to make a free account for larger files but it's still free.
You should be greatful. They do alot to give us our firmwares with ease.
Plus in the event you can't get it from there you can from Kies

I have karbonn A7 and custom ROM from XDA

Perhaps you have downloaded a rom of different region or unspecified language, isn't it? Just check again the sources from where you downloaded your rom

Of course there would be a way to change it.
Try going to recovery and wipe cache and data.
If that doesnt help then go to the thread of your Rom ask someone to tell you what number is the language and input option in your settings menu.
Navigate to it and then you may be able to change the language

dude thanks for the help .but i tried that way also dont go the sucess
after rooting the phone still not able to customise it is still 2.3.6

there is also a play store app called more locale 2 that can change the language even to a language not in the rom

You cant update your phone to ics ? I dont understand what you are saying
It would be better if you move from gb to ics.
If it fails or something you should follow up on it, in that thread, ask the OP there.

Dude i installed the listed ROM On XDA bt the problem is My mobile is not detecting the SIM card
then i download all the Baseband file .bt i dont know how to flash them.one two link i got i have download the fastboot bt the i thing is that i dont know how to flash it.0ne two ROM working properly bt that has same sim card detecting issue.
pls help me
