Thank u in advance buddy...
Please buddy...
Include voodoo sound enhancements from supercurio...by asking it to ardadat...
Also..try gpu overclock as cranium kernel... And dont miss out on the basic cpu overclock....
I know its still the beginning...but... These are a must in this scene... Bcoz..we have too many kernels but all have fragmented features...

Gud to see u back Adi_pat... Along with the other features u r working for the update of ur kernel, please include the scripts for data counting. Initially data counter was not working for Galaxy R. And only after flashing ardatdat kernel, counter started working. Please include that too in ur kernel.
Yup, sorry guys..
I have pinned a working Kernel to the OP , please test it for bugs..
It has to be flashed via CWM recovery!
Still Stuck
Well leave it for now, gearbox is testing some kernels for me... I managed to implement SmartassV2 though
EDIT: FINALLY! This one boots! http://www.datafilehost.com/download-df2354fe.html
Yup, I can confirm this one works. Everything seems to working fine till now. But you would have to wait for official testers for some benchmarks. I am not much of a tester.

Suggestion list for future versions :
- CPU, GPU, RAM OC
- Voodoo sound

Thanks.
A humble request, if possible, could you keep voodoo on a higher priority. A lot of us can't even imagine our phones without voodoo sound now
But I understand if you choose otherwise coz you may have to sync with ardatdat or UnknownzD(God knows where he is) to get voodoo sound and its perfectly fine.
Keep up the good work :good:

Save your battery and disable the second core of your android device when you dont need it!
!- This app is only for dual core devices made by Samsung -!
This app should work on most android dual core devices from Samsung (maybe also on others but these are untested!). Please report on which devices the app works and on which it doesnt. You have to be rooted! Every time you reboot you need to redisable second core! If the second core starts again at some time use another governor. Not working with hotplug!

* Galaxy S2 I9100
* Galaxy S2 I9100G
* Galaxy S3
* Galaxy S1
* Galaxy R I9103
* Galaxy Nexus

which governor do you use and did you checked the min soeed in an oc app like setcpu?
I could increase the free ram but I dont think that I will do this. Free ram is wasted ram.
The ram is only reserved for system operations so that your overall performance increases. And even high grafic games dont use all our free ram so why should there be more free one?

I am on the street and would try the kernel when i back home.
For your information, i have been trying oc to 1.4ghz but it is very unstable. Normally, it will freeze your device within few minutes. Maybe you can try that. :thumbup: and ICS kernel may do the magic

And.. Let him try... If this comes out stable... Then we may consider.....

I meant the Euroskank CM7.2, because I haven't found other 7.2 builds of CM on this forum.
Hi,guys
Have anyone got random reboot on latest build?
A user reported having random reboot when ocing to 1075MHz but
can't reproduce it since I don't have bravo...
passion build(same kerne and features as bravo) just fine to me so
I'm totally at a loss if actually there are.
Hmm strange. I don't have any random reboot. Using setups on stock settings, 256 - 998 mhz and SmartassV2 governor.
Sent from my HTC Desire
You didn't even read Fuzz post don't you?
Yeah I can confirm random reboots on 1075mhz, happens randomly.
Most likely voltage is not tweaked for anything beyond 998mhz?
Not issue for me though it's butter smooth on 998mhz and rock stable.
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
Maybe but i don't see diference in 1075 and 998 that is minimal performance.. just higher battery drain
Sent from my HTC Desire
Here is last_kmsg: https://www.box.com/s/e562dd5ed1466a9fba84
Maybe it will help.
I may be wrong, but cpu governers are built in the kernel.
So maybe the reboot at higher freqs depend on what kernel you use and how the voltage control is handled for each freq step.
On the other hand there is the fact that the cpu's of our desires are more or less oc-able as usually all cpu's (like in PCs or Notebooks).

Ya I got that on my wife's phone mazwoz job kernel worked...but this works perfect on mine....maybe hardware revisions.... any way to see hardware version on dirty unicorn?
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
Downloading now to install on jb miui. Mazwoz works better than evevolv does for me. Hope this one rocks as well. Will update asap. Also going to try on baked blackbean6 and whatever jb nand I have.
Edit: Up and running on jb miui. Runs as well as mazwoz is my first impression. Next when I turn on seeder bang it is awesome. Almost no lag anywhere.
Side note. I tried seeder on baked blackbean with mazwoz no visual difference. Antutu benchmark showed decrease in performance. Will do benchmarks for everyone later.

Yeah. No support. But just for now. I will try to implement it as soon as possible.
If you have init.d folder - just remove it

It will. Just remove init.d folder It works on kisadworx rom 100%.
P.S. I will try tonight to put init.d support.
Great work it's long ago that there is an new kernel for this work and maybe with your kernel you can improve your froyo rom
My first reaction on seeing this thread was 'Noooooooooooooooo!! We need your beautiful ROMs'. They had the best and most unique features.
Anyway, hope the kernel works well and hopefully I'll be using it in the near future.

Yeah. I want to rebuild ROM (I hope i will do this), so i want that every feature is made by my hands. Not copied, stolen and so on. I also want to put some staff into kernel in order not to put it in ROM and to save some space.
Let's see what will happen :good:

Ok have now kisadworx 2.6.2 + kisadworx kernel 1.0 and it works ok but maybe you could make a kernel version with is overclock just a bit because 667mhz stock frequenz isn't enough to handle all thinks of kisadworx rom but don't set it too high that the kernel is unstable ;D

Tried v1.1 of your kernel + your rom and it's better than first version.
There ate fewer laggs and the phone boots quicker

COMAPTIBILITY
tested on Stock,Jmp,Suvi ,grandv3 ,bumblebee
if your rom is not in list please test and reply me to add in compatibility list
KNOWN BUG : you tell me
ScreenShots are attached
FAQ's
Q1: Overclock it to xyz freq
Ans : MTK6577 doesnt support overclocking it uses pll harware for clock generation which cant be modded to go beyond the stock freq
only some perticular freq value can be use
Q2: Does it support xyz rom
Ans: see compatibility list above if your rom is not present there notify me wheather it is working or not on your rom ill add it to te compatibility list accordingly
Q3: What is fsync control
Ans: fsync stands for file sync, processor had to waste some time in this process and thus is a overhead ,but disabling it can cause data loss whose probablity is 0.001%
intelligent fsync control switches off the fsync when display is on to give better performance and switch it on when when display is off
so you need nothing to do it does it all for you

battery consumption depends on which governor you are on
eg powersave uses less battery and erformace uses lot of juice
if you know a better powersaver governor name it ill add it in next version
Bro you can add oc upto 1.4ghz..

No buddy wiko sources is not correct answer! OP has to upload his own kernel source.
@bindassdost
No Doubts, You have done a great job. As we are MTK users and we know there is no full sources released by any OEM till date. Though the closest one is from Mtotorola that's also without RIL sources.So brother, you have to upload your sources on github. We know its open source and it will be helpfull for many users using MT6577 devices all over the world.
Last question may I know the kernel version. It would be really great to have a overclocked kernel for our device but it would be better it you can clarify the doubts.
Hopefully we will receive a positive reply from your side brother. No need to hurry and release your kernel sources and clarify our doubts.
We and the whole MT6577 community will be thankful for your awesome work.
Also add native NTFS support for USB OTG for connecting HDD
Hit Thanks If U Like.....

just one thing that is strange for me
after trying lot of toolchains (none worked for me , terminates at error) then 4.6 linaro toolchain worked for me
