software update

Just did a random software update check in the settings and it connected up and is doing a big download right now....could it be?

Thy is wasimmediately following a return to stock. I always do a random check when I go back to stock.

Still 2.2.1...it updated to uckh1... from whatever the unbrick to stock is to. The strange thing is it has never done that before...why now?

The unbrick is UCKD3? Don't quote me on that, but I know it's a D just not sure of the number. And sometimes the software update doesn't work the first few times you try so that's most likely all that happened, haha.

I say do not make a new software thread until you got actual proof that it is a new update.

Ask Broncogr to delete it. I'm sure he'd have no problem with this one since it's irrelevant to anyone's interest after the title.

I'm sorry guys be gentle. I have reverted back to stock probably 15-20 times at least and almost always do a software update check and this is the first time ever it actually said there was one and started downloading. Went through the whole procedure and then it was still froyo. I have no problem whatsoever with a mod taking this thread down.
And once again I apologize. My only intentions were to get the news out as quick ad I could.

Just start a new thread stating that development is dead, last time that was stated we got more ports than we could handle and got our first taste of ICS. Maybe if you start that thread they will bring us some JB .JMO

If anyone wants to shout for a new rom but can't help team Acid with new builds, just feel free to take my works and edit the build.prop files to mismatch w a new rom (mean change rome name, version, blah blah) and flash lmao...taddaa, it should please any flashaholics if anyone can make 100+ new roms per day by that method and upload it here haha

Update to which rom?

Recently, i've just bought this O3D with clean unrooted froyo rom (2.2.2)
I really want to update it first to gingerbread (2.3.5)
But recently i have seen a lot ICS rom in here and.rarely have seen any guide to gingerbread.
What i need to know is, can i upgrade mine into ICS from froyo, or should i update it first to gingerbread?
And how to update it.

Search the forum and read.
In short, chose a v30 rom and download from here, then find in the forum the offline kdz installer.

just download the official lg tool from lg.com. you didnt need to flash kdz. download the tool, connect the phone install drivers and click on start update finished
