It's a MORNING FORECAST. It only happens the first time you unlock the phone for the day. The only other option is a weather unlock screen or stick your head out the window.

If your talking about the line over the widget, does it go away if you remove the widget?
Have you tried a reboot? There are a few things that might be asked, or tried before you simply just post a problem. You cant just say why would you do.
What did you do to try and fix it?
Reboot? I was getting lines like that. Then they got worse but they have gone now after a reboot

I've moved the widget to a different screen/removed the widget and then the line moves above the battery widget. I've rebooted, I've pulled batt, held power button 30 secs, put batt back in, turned on and still there.
EDIT: When the lines go to the battery widget the lines are on the bottom of the widget.

I would do a factory reset and see if it occurs again. If it occurs with stock widget then get a new one. If it only happens with those widgets, they wont replace it just becase a 3rd party widget is causing you problems.

The battery widget is a HTC Widget. And even with the mini widget not on the screen they show under it. I'll try the factory reset. Ill report back when I get it set up again...

I also just noticed you sig says glacier. This is the Snesation thread. If your running a Glacier and have a custom ROM, then that might be your issue also.

I have a mytouch4g n sensation, if u look at the second pic u can clearly see its a sensation. The lights are blue and not white like on the mytouch 4g. I used the mt4g to take the pics.

Has it came back after u reboot? Cuz I've done factory reset, and rebooted and it still comes back within 30 min.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA Premium App
So I found out instead of rebooting everytime, cuz this happens alot to me. Just go to settings, applications, manage applications, and hit all, scroll down until u find HTC sense theres 2, hit the top one and hit force stop, hit ok, then lightly or however u prefer, run ur finger over the home icon, and the lines should be gone until next time.
This is what happens when I turn it off and back on

I found out that the HTC Sensation had this feature but I have yet to get it to work... can any one tell me how it is done? I have tried the power button/home button and just get the turn off option.
It doesn't.

As has been said in every other screen shot thread, HTC disabled it in the build.prop
Well I saw that the htc website said it does but it doesn't? That's wired.

my question about his method: do you need to do more than just fre3vo? I tried it that way & drocap2 doesn't work still. I've noticed that some of the auto-redo methods some people have made has the batch script installing other apps called Superuser, sqlite2, & busybox. What are those & are they needed for drocap2 to work?

All the screenshots made other than the lockscreen reveals lines on the screen. I've used dropcap2, android sdk, screenshotit, etc....all can screenshot the lockscreen ok but when I try to screenshot the home screen or any other screen, black lines show up on the pic across the icons and screen.

drocap2 does that on the first screenshot each time you launch the program (every time it's granted su permissions). Second screenshot should be perfectly fine. Just long press the home button to access drocap2 easily.

Two threads or so above this one has the same issue. They seem to think it's a sense issue being the sense widgets being animated.
Can you take screenshots without the lines? After the first one as you mentioned.

Thanks for suggesting the "long press" solution.
The way I had done it was using drocap2 via notification trigger.
I did have to disable SU notification setting else the "toast" or "notification bar" gets into the screen shot.
I used shake trigger for the lock screen captures since notification bar trigger won't work for that screen.
Drocap2 is getting these images whenever I take screenshots after the second and third. No changes I am still getting the lines.
I currently have use the notification bar to "take" the pic in 5 seconds. Is there something I am missing??
Are those lines on your screen when you transition from 1 screen to another? Like, does it flicker?
I have the flicker issue sometimes and either a "Force Stop" HTC Sense or use Fast Reboot app to make Sense reload.
Try drocap2 on it after that.
No it doesn't flicker or anything. And no I am not transitioning from another screen. I just tried the fast boot app and it worked slightly on the first pic but then the lines come back in the second.
Maybe it's a lwp issue? I am going to try to get a static lwp to test.
Confirmed-LWP (for me) causes lines
LWP when doing a screenshot will cause lines. I tried a different lwp and a static one.
The htc sense lwp
Static wallpaper-No lines.
Yeah, I'm getting those lines using lwp too.
Galaxy LWP doesn't show lines.
Simple question, how do I disable the full screen weather animation after unlock? Can't see that setting in the weather ap menu.
Thanks

i think if you long hold the widget like you are going to trash it but drag it to edit you should be able to turn it off.

The only option there is to edit location.
I think there is some kind of bug here cause I haven't even chosen the weather animation for the lockscreen but sometimes I get that animation anyway.
Yeah, I'm definitely missing something here. I remember turning it on with my first handset, but with this one is can't find the setting. Weird.

Drag the clock to 'edit', select location and then you will be given the option to enable or disable full screen animation.

The weather app is set up to show you the weather once a day in the morning on your lockscreen. You can turn this off in the settings of the weather app.

Hi there!
As the title say I would know who have the metro live background from HTC up and running because on my device it is bugged since day one and even now that I have 2.31 update. The animation stuck itself after a few seconds.

I do have it. And, as you say, the animation goes on for say 10-15 seconds (haven't counted exactly) and then stops. Are you saying this is abnormal? I thought this was meant to save battery juice.
I don't think so because the others live wallpapers keep running without stopping

hi peeps,
im new with my htc one s S4 version, i just want to know is there any way to wake up my phone by not pressing the power button?
Thanks in advance and merry christmas all
Try out one of those fancy "cover the proximity sensor for x amount of seconds to unlock screen" apps on the play store. Try out a app called "light lock"

Thanks guys for the replies, maybe i'll just stick with it
I saw a kernel i the dev section that allowed you to swipe across the back/home/app buttons to wake the device.
I dont remember which kernel it was though.
