I got some great news, the new and improved Just Works Rom is now available for your HTC Evo Shift 4G! I have been working on this project for about 2 weeks straight so hopefully everything runs smoothly. I hope you enjoy this new version as much as I did developing it... Enjoy!
Just Works Rom Information
In the new Rom, you will find a lot of changes to help satsify the basic user. It is a lot easier to see it in action than for me to explain it... But below you will find more information.

Ahhhh i remember my HeroC days. That was my first android as well. Was a trooper when you didnt use sense. Sense was so wrong for that device. I also always had it on performance maxed out too. Was so much fun. That thing took a beating. My baby threw it in the toilet 3 times before it finally crapped out. Lucky for me we had the best buy waranty for it and got a free shift out of it. But i think i should have taken then nexus instead. Ohh well this phone is still bad @$$!

I ran nothing but Sense . Flashed so many Roms the Power button stopped working. Also had the Best Buy Insurance at the time. Got my moneys worth out of that  . Also ended up Bricking one .

Ya I just had a red button lol. Never bricked it.
Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2

I almost did, messed up the partitions and then I used a ruu to put it back.. Also a update on this Rom should either be released 7/10/12 or 7/11/12 ( depending on time zones lol)

Just a little heads up guys, I took down the update because of it failing when trying to flash it in Clockwork Mod. Rom is still up and stable.
SPECIAL THANKS TO MY TESTER, MEGAGHOSTGAMER. WITHOUT HIM, I WOULD NOT BE HERE.

Aww shucks <--- LoL!! Anyways thanks for posting that lol

I think I might put some tweaks in it just to see what I can do with some things >_< maybe I could get it a lil slimmer.. This Rom has internal memory of around 360mb =)

Note: Do NOT send me (tvall) messages asking questions about the rom, installation of the rom, reporting bugs, or asking about updates (unless told by a member of the team to do so). I will NOT reply quickly or in a helpful way. Post on this thread. People will take you seriously and give you decent answers (usually).
Note: rules on using this rom for other projects
If you use prebuilt anything from releases of this rom, please be nice and send me a pm asking for permission. this is supposed to be an open community, but i hate seeing 20+ cm7 roms with nothing different except name and bundled apps. If you don't ask, and you havent made something different enough from this rom to be worth having its own thread, it may or may not get reported.
DREAMTeam! I am glad to see our rom finally on xda! We worked hard on this! I hope you all enjoy our rom!

EDIT: i just flashed it and everything is fine, maybe your are doing something wrong?

[ROM] [ERA] HTC SENSE 2.1 v1.8 I'm Bringing Sensey Back (Updated 10/19/12)

HTC Sense 2.1 is finally on the epic
Note: Do not wipe data while on this rom that deletes the ROM since part of it is stored in /data since sense is so huge. If you do wipe data but want to stay on sense, you will need to reflash the rom. Also, to switch ROMs after you get tired of this one, , you must flash an epic modem or the crespo modem patches in my other thread.

What's not Working
4G
Bluetooth
Crespo Modem patches were done by me, bbelos, Samsung, AOSP, Google, Coolya, and the CyanogenMod Galaxy S and Nexus S and Nexus S 4G teams
Changelog:
1.0- Original Release
1.1- Fixed call bugs (thanks xfreshboimariox)
1.2- Fixed GPS using the Nexus S 4G files and ramdisk lines)
1.3- fix orientation issues and keep launcher in memory.
1-4 Fix camcorder, add nexus audio drivers, voodoo color, and voodoo sound
1-5 fix wifi issues introduced in the last build.
1.6- Fix WiFi more
1.7- Fix Calls and 4way reboot (Thanks redwiz666)
1.8- Fix Orientation once more. Now switching between landscape and portrait does not give weird graphics issues. I also added a slightly newer boot.img which should fix any signal issues on the first boot. I also added ROM Manager. This may be my last release unless people want anything additional.

Put phone in Download mode (full power off, slide open, press "1" and POWER key)
Use odin 1.61:
put modem.bin in phone slot
uncheck all but reboot...
do eet...
when phone reboots, pull battery then boot into recovery...
flash the rom, first boot will be slow, but subsequent boots are good...

My evo shift isn't activated, so I cant test things requiring service.
I don't have any bluetooth devices so the most I can test is seeing if it turns on and connects to my evo3D.
This is my first time porting MIUI so bear with me as I do the best I can.
The reason its pwnyourace presents and the filename isnt MIUI.us is simply because I am not part of the MIUI.us "team" and this isn't hosted on MIUI.us

An endless day of troubleshooting lol I've literally been working on this for about 12 hours straight today. Wanted to get it going and a method down since might not be keeping my shift so I'd be able to help the next guy at least if I choose to give it back.

lmfao thanks for noticing that, now ill wait until thats fixed lol
The shift for some reason doesn't like to boot with any other phones libandroid_runtime.so than its own and the theme app force closing is showing androidruntime errors in logcat which points in the smali replacing/diffing direction lol. If I can't get it I've seen a few "themes fixed" in Changelogs on ports so I should be able to find someone to ask, like I said this is my first attempt at porting actually I'm general not just MIUI.
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
Lol my current project is motoblur & sense.. Trying to port them but fail almost everytime. Frostincredible told me how to port his motoblur but i can't because my laptop isn't capable of almost everything at this point.. back to your rom lol nice rom love it!!
So is this running as stable as decks 6-30 build? About to flash as soon as the download finishes

the home launcher thing is something i never wouldve noticed lol im making logs of it right now. the hot reboot thing i think i actually fixed because i was getting it to but then i did some more framework.jar edits and havent gotten one yet. thanks for the feedback let me know if you find anymore issues
edit: looking at the logcat i might have it. the ICS dalvik cache lines in build.prop are supposed to look like this
dalvik.vm.heapstartsize=5m
dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit=48m
dalvik.vm.heapsize=128m
and deck still had it at 32m which caused an out of memory error and causes the home launcher to be killed to due memory overload. just theory here lol giving it a shot now
edit2: yup that was it, works just fine now yay for squashing bugs
edit3: flashable zip for hot reboot and out of memory error fix coming when I finish eating. Look for it in the 2nd post

Yeah, for personal reasons I had to leave AT&T. So I cam back to VZW because the cost savings benefit was amazing. Then the guys on the HOX donated money so I wouldnt not have to sell it and pay the term fee. So I will be doing two phones and one tablet right now :highfive:
Awesome man. Still have the one x I mess around with every now and then. Guess ill have your rom on both phones and what tablet do you have?

Clean Rom on my Nexus 7 and now Clean Rom on my SGS3. I'm loving it Scott!
Yay another rom popped up for the VZW GS3! I want to try it out but i like the 4x5 homescreen in synergy rom. Can you implement it in your next update? Also would you say the performance or battery life is better than synergy 1.7? Im running Imoseyon 0.1 and its running good.
I've only used your ROM's when I had my rezound and excited to see where this goes! I'm gonna hold off for a few more builds until the bugs get worked out I gave you a thanks anyway cuz I know this is gonna be awesome !

Its easier to list what is in it...
S-Voice and Back up Assistant. Everything else is gone.
I'll try to get a list later today.
EDIT: Hotspot and Voicemail is in there too!
Ok, Listed out all the removed apps in the OP.
Later on I can make an installer for them if there is enough demand.
Does this have the dumbed down version of Google search??

[ROM][BETA] Mega ICS [11/03/12]

This is a ICS Rom that is super close to being stable. It's only missing the Bluetooth and Camera Recorder. I might be able to fix both of these with some simple fixes. It's my best ICS Rom cause I've worked on it. Creds to Kushdeck for his ICS base.

I'm so sorry :\ I'll look into it. I swapped to verizon cause there were 2 sprint towers near me and one minute it would be max bars the next it would be none. It kept bouncing. So I got spectrum with verizon and 4G LTE all day. Nice for a change. Its almost fast as my comcast. Either way I'll talk to friends about the 4G. I'll try my best to get this stable cause I have a lot of hopes. I love what my LG Spectrum is getting and thought hey why don't I try the launcher on my evo shift before I get it. I should be getting ICS for it this week. Hopefully. Thanks for telling me!
Weird
So i wiped data, cache and everything that is supposed to be wiped then i installed the rom.... but nothing changed i have everything from the previous rom........ so did i do something wrong??.....
