Hey guys found a new cool App called killwifi, it can detect devices running on your wifi and allows you 2 stop internet function to that chosen device. Its really cool and I got to boot someone off my network already!!!! I take no responsibility for Dev of this application

Its really meant to be used in Hotspot areas like Starbucks or in your house where theres caps daily etc.

You have to opt in but you'd go on the Verizon wireless website, the privacy clause....ask you what you want to do, I've opt out so long can't remember now.

Says they want you to do this for third party marketing and yet the next sentence says Verizon will not give out your information outside of Verizon?

I find it rather disgusting that verizon offers you a coupon for your personal information. Google just invited our family into a similar thing but they mailed 5 real dollars. And you get a $100 gift card per month if you let them install a router in your house to track data usage.
So how does that wonderful coupon look now? And to think your info is worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars to them.

Hello and welcome to the data mining that is as old as the internet. Nothing new here other than giving you the choice to opt out.
I hope that none of the people here on their soap boxes, complaining about this ever use Facebook... they do this ALL the time and rarely let you know... let alone opt out.

If they traded whoring out your info for a discount off your bill or a upgrade in half the time that would be better than a ****ing coupon. Pricks.

Can't get certain text

When I text this person I can send them text and they get it but when they reply I won't get it. They got a new phone and still the same problem. I've download hand cent to see if that would but nope.
If it helps they are on metropcs
I'm running cm10

I had this problem in my incredible and this phone. It's the same two people, has to be something on their end. Or in this case, I guess your end. Annoying though.

I recently got into it... Be prepared to use a lot of gasoline if you want to be effective at the game. Also, choose resistance if you want to be on the winning side. It's insane how much they're winning by.

Is this game for only major metropolitan areas? Doesn't seem to be anything around my area.

As far as I know, if you're in an area with no portals, it will create a portal around you for you to farm off of. But it's designed for higher traffic areas, for sure.

Go with Straight Talk. AT&T prepaid is a ripoff compared to that.
I've been using straight talk on android phones for a while now.

Well the phone is locked. And the sg2 skyrocket is not unlockable via AT&T. And we already tried straight talk. And where we are there is never any service for straight talk but go phone works great

You're right there have been a number of useless comments, but do search for "unlock for free i727 xda" on Google.

I'll give that a shot. The reason I turned to XDA for help on this one is because usually people are help full. And the phone is not mine. Its my mothers. Who is nowhere near. I'm deployed at the moment. So it isn't exactly easy to do much.

Its cool, I've just never used any phone with go phone. At&t reps told me that a 4g phone is not supported with the go phone network yet. I've googled many times and found many mixed answers that don't really help. Some saying leave MMS proxy blank, some saying you have to use a username and password some saying otherwise. I was hoping someone who has actually used a 4g phone on the go phone network could give me some insight.
