This is a new Polaris android bulid ,based on hiapk.com compile version.
I boot it from SD CARD(haRET),it was a very fast Android Build.Also very stable.

GPS,USB,Camera,GPRS,Phone,etc.
What not work:
OPEN-GL(working on 2.6.25 kernel,I provide a 2.6.32 zImage in the ROM package)
In fact,the power down button is not working.
please install this program:Reboot Control
it's a widget,add it to desktop.
Installation:
1.Putting "andboot" folder to your SD card.
2.Run "default.txt生成脚本.bat" to create a Default.txt for HaRET.(it will show something,just choose the phone you have.or you could not boot the linux.)
3.Run haret.exe.
4.when it says "Hold down Volume Up or D Pad",just press and hold the center D-Pad button.then you will see a installer menu,choose install system.
5.done.

no,you can change the language to english.Only a small part of the application is in Chinese.

you need to kown that the Polaris has three kinds of scree(panel1,panel2,panel3),when you setup Android OS
you should choose the right number for your own phone(1,2or3)
setup 2 Run "default.txt生成脚本.bat" then show message(1-6) .
choose 4 if your phone is panel1,5 means panel2, 6 means panel3

can you make same rom but with other ANDROID?..because this is 1.6 version..very old..and on the market..you can find only programs that work on 1.6..for example ROgue tools dosen't work in this version of android.

it's unbelievable fast O:
overlocking with rogue tools also works without the touchscreen bug..
the same with at least android 2.1 and a dream would become true

..but i just flashed this rom to nand with the 2.6.25 kernel + module updates and overlock of cpu (550mhz) + gpu and it's amazing fast.. nearly no lags at all.. just installed adw launcher and still working fluently! try it out!
german language + no chinese apps and this rom would be a killer.
oh.. and 我是春哥, maybe you can share the link to the rom source over at hiapk.com?

The build is gread and fast, but GPS DOESN'T work =(

Installation :
boot to Recovery
make a Factory Reset (Wipe ALL)
wipe Dalvik Cache
install the ROM
The first boot will take a while and the Android on Startup will show up 2 times.
After first boot it will need some time before u can act something on the device..

*if u want to push the "Cache" to SD use this Commands :
- adb root
- adb shell ("su" in Terminal Emulator)
- a2sd check
- a2sd zipalign
- a2sd cachesd
**u can also use A2SD-GUI on the Desktop (only for A2SD Versions)

If you want to know if your blade is GEN1 or GEN2 there is an app on the android market called "Ask mr pig fish. Will tell you if you have GEN1 or 2. Hope this helps.

Great job. I love this ROM,
BUT....
There is something that realy pisses me off. When I reboot the device it freazes at the screen with the green android. I have to remove the battery first to start the phone.
If you have a solution, please let me know.
P.S. The camera doesn't work. Freazes when I hit capture button and after that cannot even start the camera.

I'm testing a new Version now.. seems to be that this one will work much better... i will build the new Version on the Blade-Nightly-108 .. this Version runns very smooth and brings no Issues at the moment...
I have to make some Miui ROMS for MIUI Germany.. after this i will work on the new BLADE Version...

My camera works, but stil have a reboot problem, mentioned above.
Besides, there are still couple of issues:
- it can turn off while charging,
- the notification lingers after you've read new message or checked missed call
- battery draining is still an issue
Besides, it is one of the best ROM's I've used in a while. Cheers mate

P.S. Is there a mutual problem with ROM's regarding the dialer, which doesn't help you by bringing up names from the phonebook while you type the number? Besides the first ROM that came from Orange, which started phonebook search while you type the numbers, none of the unofficial ROM's had this function.

Really appreciate your work dude....... but still i have one doubt - is the english 100% english ? Cuz i don't know any chinese, so if not, it's a no-go.

First of all, this is great! I've been waiting for a MIUI port that is usable (phone + camera). I'm not entirely sure if the english stuff is included but here is a way to fix it (at least from my limited playing around with the rom for the past 30 minutes when I should have been working, ahem!)
Download the Desire HD english pack from this page: xxxx://miuiandroid.com/roms/ and install using recovery. (replace the xxxx with http, I can't post links for some reason)

Whilst there were english elements in the ROM, it seems that despite setting the language to english, a lot of the MIUI elements still don't display english characters. By applying the English Desire HD pack, it fixes the language issues but breaks the camera. I'm not a rom guru so I don't know why this is but I have just extracted the DHD English pack and copied the elements over manually (the system apks and framework-res) using adb and now everything is displaying english AND the camera still works.
Don't know why that would be but there you go

IDK how to use ADB. Can i manually replace these using root explorer??

I haven't tried it myself but you could give it a whirl. I was only copying files through ADB shell so it most likely will work fine

Wondering which radio do you recommend for use with MIUI? Is this radio compatible: Radio_20.28b.30.0805U_38.03.02.15_M?

Ok, just got the volume +/- buttons working on this rom. Download the CM7/Gingerbread rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158032 and take all the files from the /system/usr/keylayout and rename them from vivo* to saga* and then copy them to the same place on the Miui rom filesystem. Reboot and there you go, working volume buttons

I tried looking at LBC Mod Android Development website but i can't find the exact model for my phone.

Found another bug. The screen flickers if you have auto-brightness on.

The english language pack for the DHD is now in ver 1.7.8, no longer compatible with this 1.7.1 port :/

This is a great ROM. Smooth, stable and beautiful.
As far as I can see, the only additions in WP 7.8 are:
1. New Start Screen (this is incredibly useful)
2. Bing Dynamic Lock Screen
3. More theme options
4. Subtle changes to animations
5. Other small tweaks like the ability to save a contact to SIM and not just the cloud
The only thing missing (for me) is Bluetooth sharing of non-DRM files (which apparently the Lumia 7.8 ROMs will get), otherwise I am very happy with this update.

Was the HTC.dll added yet? I actually really like HTC apps so I may wait if its not added.......

Hey there, When i was trying to install this ROM from 7.5, it said its erasing the existing the ROM , before flashing, it said error occured and phone just rebooted. Now there is no ROM and MAGLDR is also not loading :crying: Except the download mode. I tried to load MAGLDR, no go. If I switch ON the fone, samsung logo stays there for 10-20 secs and boom.. switches off... Anything can be done ???:crying:

Load CWM (we absolutely recommand to use CWM 6.0.1.5 by enox, because the updater-script is layouted for it and we´re able to confirm that it works with it! Other versions of CWM might brick your device or wont even work! Further instructions and downlink you can find here)
Make a nandroid backup, just in case...
After it select "Flash .zip from sdcard" and choose the file, e.g. "RelentlessROM_signed_1.0.zip"
Confirm that you want to flash this file
Wait till it will print a output like "Time to reboot..."
Understandably you have to reboot now

When its possible i´ll do it or i´ll try it.
But its just possible after unlocking the bootloader.
Yet, we´re just able to build ROMs based on stock firmwares.
Otherwise the phone wont boot.
So feed us with inspirations and we´ll improve our Relentless ROM

Why i have always problem with blur.service after i install your ext. pack? Im using german .sbf, your Relentles rom and first ext. pack. Now i install updated ext. and shows me this error.
Edit: I solve this with.. flash your rom again, after that flash ext. pack and now works fine.
But why? I already have your rom with ext. pack.. thats strange.

this will not work on the canadian virgin mobile phone in canada with the newest firmware, untill a hack can be done on the phone to be able to let it be rooted.
