Does anyone have the needed files to run beats on cm9? ive searched and came up with awesome beats which was far too bassy, and another zip that didnt work.
There is a file i downloaded before which worked with miui but i cant find it anymore

Awesome beats is just that...awesome!
How can you say its too bassy when it is integrated with dsp manager??? You have total control of setting up your sound with dsp equalizer using beats.

It makes my beats mixr's sound awful even on the lowest settings

Hi guys,
I'm running ARHD 6.6.5 with faux123 007b
Whenever I try a visit play.com through stock browser it will always put my back to the hone screen. Other browser's work ok but I really wanted to keep with stock.
Have tried various kernals but same result. This also happened in 6.6.4.
Any ideas?
I found an stock ICS browser to flash but ext says its a bad zip.

because the .zip is corrupted, try re-downloading the file again and then reflash it
Installed latest ics browser, issue still exists.

Hi I do believe thi sis possible, I tried the app on the app store but all that did was totally mess up my sound.
I am sure there must be a way as it is a beats audio device?
Anyone got the zip required? or is there a special way?

You can install the HTC music player in the cyanogenmod... So you will get beats Audio

Since when? The Sense music player requires the Sense framework, which CM doesn't have.

The Apollo player with dsp is better than beats IMHO. Rocks with my solos.

I decided to get brave and try this out and it worked...I did not create it so please give the dev his props...happy flashing

DSP Manager or Equalizer work much better than adding bass like Beats does. Just saying.

Well, sense roms already have beats. DE is sense themed right?
De is asop with a touch of sense
But , I see your point... It did install on the clean Rom se , but didn't change sound ... Was trying to bend it to suite my needs

Boot into recovery, Flash and Profit!:good:
Remember to enable in the settings>sounds>effects
Invest in a decent app like playerpro or poweramp and use your own equalizer. Does wonders honestly
This version is tons better sounds good and works properly.

Four things:
1. oh dear
2. please use the search function, this has already been asked and answered at least twice.
3. Sense apps require sense framework which AOSP builds quite obviously dont have.
4. Nowhere in bassini's thread does it say anything about CM ROMs, it only says about sense roms so I would think that its obviously meant for sense roms and not CM
To tell you the truth, beats audio doesn't improve audio quality at all.
I prefer DSP manager in AOSP/AOKP rom since beats WON'T WORK in AOKP/AOSP rom.
and I think DSP in much better than BEATS AUDIO.
I dont prefer beats but dolby. and dolby is in The package with beats
And I have done it with the virtiuos inquesation ( dont know how you spell it) on ICS and that's a aosp rom

No its not, its a no-sense ROM because:
1. Its not built from source
2. It uses a sense base then removed sense apps and replaced with AOSP versions of those apps, therefore it has a sense framework so the dolby package will work.
3. Pure AOSP ROMs dont have sense framework

Type in beats in the play store and there should be a app named beats installer ( don't quote me on the name) but install that then use any music app and watch the difference.

Beats from Beats installer works, but there is no notification about it you can only hear it. and for dolby sound, try some music players, I`m sure there is at least one with it. Maybe PowerAMP, or something?
There will only be a notification when headphones are plugged

Beats is just an EQ profile. To my ears I admit it gives more pleasing sound than stock but not as good as I can get from apps like poweramp or DSP Manager
Any for.our phone that has beats built into the framework?

No good since you can't alter anything if your music gets distorted using just beats. Awesome Beats is basically a modded DSP manager that uses libs and audio files of Beats.
OK this one

stripped apart rebuilt with Clean Rom&XdaTechnology!!!
He wants a ROM with it built in that he knows for sure that it works.
