[Q] Dropping phone calls

Hi All,
I have and inspire 4g with stock rom on it. The issue is that when someone calls me, they hear my phone ringing but I dont hear any ringtone so missed that call even though I have about one or two bars on my H network status.
Now i would like to flash a new rom which can fix this issue and also give me HTC sense 3.0 . Can anybody suggest a sollution to the problem or a rom which can give me these.

I had this problem a lot when I first got the phone. I tried a lot of different things before I finally just accepted it as network issues. But at the same time, recently I have not been dropping as many calls or seemingly missing calls, so it's possible it has to do with the setup I'm currently running which is as following:
ROM - Virtuous Unity v1.29
Kernel - Unity v3
Radio - 12.56.60.25x_26.10.04.03_M
RIL - 2.2.0153HM

I would like to get a similar setup on my inspire. I am pretty new to this scence. So do you have links on how I can get these loads on my phone. Will fashing Virtuous Unity give me the radio and RIL or are there different individual methods for it? Also, do you still have htc sense 3.0 with this config?

yes unity is sense 3. yes a new rom will change your ril. no it will not change your radio. visit the hack kit thread to get u started. and mudknot has a good forum for beginners it's stickied in the general section. good luck

ROM - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122778 (this is a link to v1.31. There are links to mirrors for 1.29 towards the end of the thread, or just use 1.31)
Kernel - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1130350 (that's to v4 of the kernel, I'm sure v3 is linked somewhere in the thread, or just use v4)

All threads have very good instructions on what needs to be done to install these things. Yes Virtuous Unity is a Sense 3.0 ROM.
If you haven't already, you'll need to start here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952352) and Root/Unlock/S-Off the phone, then flash the ROM, then flash the Kernel, then flash the Radio, then flash the RIL (order of last 3 doesn't really matter).

Thank you for the links. Will try this today and let you know how it went. Also can I backup these stock rom and radio/RIL etc before I do this. I know you can backup the existing rom when i am on a custom rom, but is it possible with the stock rom? Same for the radio?

No way that I'm aware of. However this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208507) is a tool that's developed/being developed to return you to bone stock, unrooted (ROM, Radio, RIL, S-On. don't know if it reverses SIM unlock and SuperCID). This (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952224) is the stock RUU - it will leave you S-off but flash stock, unrooted ROM, Radio, and RIL

[Q] HTC HD2 - WiFI/Bluetooth issues - MIUI/Typhoon etc.

I'm new to this forum and have less than 10 posts.
Therefore I cann't put my question in the "correct forum".
What's wrong?
issues with WiFI/Bluetooth. (connection).l
I only get a connection when I'm away up to 10 inches from the router / PC.
My Rom etc?
TyphooN CM7 v3.3.4 - MGLDR (no matter what version, same problem)
or
MIUI
Android 2.34
Radio 2.15.50.14
Same Problem width Windows Mobil 6 - Since the beginning of the year
...................
No Problems width UMTS or GPS
I hope somebody can help me =(

Dunno about Typhoon or MIUI rom, but try American android and see if it works. It works great for me.

he try the new typhoon 3.6.2 it has the kernel r12 beta from tytung! for some this is giving problems but for others it is working fine! just keep followong the development of the typhoon thread as almost once a week there will be an update and you can update youre rom without losing youre settings or data!!! so it is the best way to always have the latest versions!! if you dont know how to update youre rom pm me!

If the mobile phone up to 4 inches away from the router, WiFi works without problems.
From 4 cm no longer connected.
P.S.
At the beginning of the year my display was replaced (complete). Can there be a problem because of this? (I have only problems with WiFi and Bluetooth)

[Q] Miui rom

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post in the relevant forum so I am hoping someone could answer my question here. I installed the Miui rom a couple of weeks ago but the bluetooth connection wouldn't connect to my Parrot CK3200 car kit. It would find the phone but drop the connection. i know that it is not a problem with the car kit as all the other roms I have tried have been fine.
The actual rom I tried was the MIUI.us HTC Sensation 1.10.28 by scott951.
just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issues with this.

I haven't tried bt on this phone yet but whenever bt acts up it's usually caused by different kernels. Are you using the kernel bundled with the rom or another like bricked or faux?

I was using the bundled kernel, would you be able to recomend/link to a kernel.

[Q] Which rom is Best for Sensation XE ?

Hi I am new here, So Please explain me things nicely
I've got my Sensation XE from Vodafone just 2 weeks ago, But now I've did s-off and I've tried several different ICS rom's But it sucks the battery really fast and the performance is not good at all, I've seen that most of the peoples are usng Android Revolution rom, So I just planned to give a try to Android revolution and Custom kernal which i heard Brick is good but which ver ? :/ Please help me and give me a advice which ver of Android revolution is good and Kernal as wel this will be really apprciated, thanks

If you want to try ARHD here is the main 2 things. Both versions are very stable.
4.1.9 is Sense 3.5
3.6.9 is Sense 3 (which is what comes on the phone)
3.5 is more polished and better laid out
3.0 seems a bit smoother and is better for gaming
as for bricked the best luck I have seen is version 1.51 beta 1 v528.

I am on the phone and can't link unfortunately. But if you go to ARHD thread 4.1.9 should be post number 3. You will see a banner that says download and under it will say 4.1.9.

Flash Energy rom, In my opinion Energy ROM with sense 3.5 is the best rom out for sensation series. Very attractive as well as good battery life. Since i got my sensation I have tried and tested all roms, Energy is the best one out there, Other with good battery life are Elegancia ROM, Percaso rom, and RC MIX

Have a look at my sig, it contains links to my favourites at the moment.
3.6.9- the link is also there for 4.1.9, Bricked link and the radio which has given me least issues.

Thank you so much everyone for your help and support I don't know, I just can't figure out why ARHD doesn't work on my cell, I have tried different versions of ARHD but I am having a same problem with all the versions my mobile is restarting with all the ARHD rom's :/ and now again I am gone back to Ultimite ICS rom, BUt I am happy with that now, I am just scared of flashing other rom's and the battery timing is also pretty good It's nearly 9 hours on my battery and I've still got 78% left I have made some calls and took some pictures and WIFI is on. Thanks guys

Thanks Tariq bhai for your suggestion, But I removed my stock rom because I wanted to try something different, I am using Ultimite(ICS) from webstar1 right now and it's awesome rom with good battery life some little bugs needed to be fix, But still this rom is the best rom from all.

sorry to post here but i'am new user and cannot ask my problem in main topic;
i flashed the rom+gapps (Triumph_v3_EternalPeace_Final) with the instruction of below topic:
[ROM][4.1][Kernel][Linaro][Aroma][Odexed]Triumph HD V3 EternalPeace out[7.9.13]
all thing seems awesome and smooth except wi-fi
when i turn on it it show Turning Wi-Fi on.. for about minute and then say "searchin for Wi-Fi networks" but nothing done after some minutes and i have to turn off Wi-Fi again.
what can i do?
I test many rom of Pico topic from 4.0.x to 4.3.x but most of cm9 and cm10 based rom have wi-fi problem or BT problem or stuck at htc logo at first,
Please help me because i wasted over a week for choosing a stable Rom :crying:
Please give me guide about my problem or present me a stable rom.
