What is this about? I just put JB on my Verizon nexus and when I got home it told me how long it took.

That's Google Now at work. It calculates time and distance from locations you go to frequently. I find it amazing.

Lol! I thought you were asking a different question...
Pop open the back cover and have a look around behind the battery.
edit: waaay too slow
About phone then look at baseband. The letter after 9020 will tell you. Also if you get 3G speeds on one or the other will be a big clue.

After you remove the battery. There should be a sticker where the battery would go. At the very top it should say the model number. GT-i9020X
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
I just checked, my phone says "Model: GT-i9020" no letter.

Does it? I just tried it last night and my brother could hear me, but I couldn't hear him.
Anybody else hate it? Constant server connection issues.

Yeah, I haven't used the XDA app in a long time, basically since Tapatalk came out with the tablet version.
Try subscribing to a forum. Still haven't gotten it right.

I love the new xda app. There habve been issues with things like subscribing to threads, but the play store page tells you exactly how to fix it. Working flawlessly for me.

Not to my knowledge. I have been using it on my SR and my Nexus 7 from the day it was released, with no issues. What worked for me was to manually unsubscribe from all threads that were subscribed to from the old app, clear app data and cache, and then re-add all subs. Not a single issue since then.

I actually hate how much it lags. Also, if I remember it correctly, there's no way to view your posts. And when you visit a thread you'd visited before, it takes you to the first page again, which is very annoying. Not sure if this was even tested in the first place.
To view your posts, back up to the left menu, and choose "particiapted". As for the way it opens a previously viewed thread, you can go to settings and choose whether you want it to open at the beginning, go to the first unread post, or to the newest post.

well yes ....
It's just stupid that, instead of simply updating the current version, they release it as an entirely different app and make you pay for it again. I'm sticking with Tapatalk 2 until it dies.

It works great for me on the skyrocket, the HTC one and my galaxy tab 2. I like it much better than tapatalk 2. Sometimes it lags for a second on startup. No other problems here.

Best phone on Verizon right now is arguably the LG G2 that just came out today.
Probably not the right forum for this kind of topic though.
Either the g2, droid ultra, or the note 3

Never happened on any of the six N5 I used (EU model, D821), nor on my 2012 N7 3G.
I haven't seen this issue on N5.
It happened to me once when I had Galaxy Nexus.
I think it depends on the server where you are downloading from.
In this particular case it seems to be google play.
Are you using any apps to get to the market? I know people from outside of US are using them.
