how to root g note on stock 4.0.3 android

hi everybady i am newby and don't know how to root my galaxy note which is updated to android 4.0.3 stock rom from samsung. can anybody help plz. thanks

and there is no "device update" in settings thats why i want a manual method
and i searched alot online and can't find a method to update
-- just want to know how to update to android 4.1 jellybean

i found a method for s3 chinese one too ,,, i wanna know will it work ??
its same ver. 4.0.4 and updated to 4.1 ,,, is all versions are the same ?? i mean if it worked for china 4.0.4 like me and updated will it work for me ??

Hello guys, my name is Francisco and I'm from Venezuela.
I have a Samsung s3 I recently bought, it has Android 4.2.2. I don't want to install a custom rom after reading about all the bugs. But I would like to install 4.3 at least. Since my phone is rooted, I can't update via OTA, what should I do? I don't want to mess it up installing any rom.
Any help is appreciated,
