If I understand you to want to move files from system folders on the memory card
Of course this is possible, you must have root explorer and you can copy

Hi everybody!
I just got my 1st Android Devide (DHD) and already root, clockwork, changed rom, etc. However, my problem is related to the directories structures inside my SDCARD.
I have 2 questions:
1- I moved some apps that I have in my main memory to my SDCARD via App Settings. However, when I go to my sdcard in windows explorer, I don't find these files. I'm not sure then if is really moving to my sdcard. I just realized some new folders, but they are empty. Does anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?
2- The second question it's linked with the first. I would like to organize in my SDCARD a nice folder structure. Something like:
/
/Songs/
/Photos/
/Documents/
/Backups/
/Games/
/Apps/
And then if you go inside the Apps folder, you have another folder with the name of the application. Pretty much like Program Files folder in Windows.
Is this possible? For Songs, Photos, Documents, I created a folder and it worked. But what about for apps and games that I got on the market?
My SDCARD has also a lot of folder/files that were copied when I put the sdcard on the device. I don't know if I can delete that. Any idea?
Thanks for the help in advance!
Moved to Q&A, not dev related.
Anyone?
Any tip?
Hello!
When I install app's I see that a folder is created on the SD card.
Is there a way that app's will install and create folders in a specific folder?
So that my SD card won't look like a mess?
Thats impossible better way is to monitor the dates and time of install of an app then check it to your file explorer so you will know which app created a folder.
Sent from my Nexus S
BUMP
OK thanks!
Some apps allow you to choose the path for the sd folder. Check the app settings to see if this is configurable.
i have a xperia J and its rooted i swapped the storage using the vold.fstab file. but when i try to install sd games their data get stored in the data/data folder as eg: "com.sajdgfhgfds"
i dont want to use directory binding or other apps that bind the data virtually.. all i want to know is how do make the apps to install their data to the sd_card/android/data folder. is their any other file that can be changed using the adb commands ?
Hi,
I have one Nexus 4 phone with customer room. It is 8G phone so I want to save my internal sdcards for some personal data.
I saw there are too many many many folder in directory "data/media/blobs" of root.
The name folder is 000 to FFF or some thing like that. they are too much folder so I can find out how many there.
My phone spend about 2G for "data/media/blobs" folder.
My questions are :
1. What is the purpose of folder data/media/blobs and its' sub folder?
2. Can I remove data/media/blobs folder?
Thanks for your help.:good:
Hi, you better don't delete anything in your blobs folder. Starting from CWM6, it makes incremental backups and your backup files point to these files. These are a critical part of your backup.
I have some fonts like librebaskerville in ttf format that I want to install in ebookdroid. But I don't know where to put the files in.
Which folder should I put the files in?
I am running CM11 and I know how to move files into the app data folders.
just create a folder in internal storage and name it "fonts", put the ttf files in it, it will load in ebookdroid
