new swype??

anyone hear about the update to then new swype beta? and do you know if there is a apk for it? I have swype but I didnt get it as beta..i downloaded somewhere on this fourm..the poster put it on his twitter site (so technically downloaded from twitter)

well everything I was reading about the new version, sounded like the one were using currently, but i would still try it

I tried to download from their site but it didn't update my swype..I'm still on 2.4.44..would like to try the new swype if possible...

well if you dl'd it, you have to uninstall the previous version then install the newer one

The new update calls home to check if you're really part of the beta, it won't work if you're not. I'm part of it and it still said that Swype was configured for a different device, so I rolled back.

I can find crack easier.
Man these Swype folks are all about locking down this must have kb can some one please PM me a copy of a working apk. I will gladly send swype as much money as they want for it but they aren't playing nice.

Just Google swype + version number. You'll find a working version in the top result.

If someone will please PM me the apk, I'll theme it

By "apk" you mean a version other than the market version?

Buy the program its really worth it and probably one of the best programs out. Once you have a legal copy your skins will work

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon App Request

I am unable to install the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon app on my device from the app market, and have been unable to find it for download anywhere else. I was just wondering if one of you guys could post the latest .apk file for me. It's a free app so I'm pretty sure I'm not breaking any forum rules. If somebody could do this for me that would be very much appreciated. Also are we allowed to request .apk files for paid apps or is that against forums rules? Thanks.

Nope, It's in the android market. I just can't install it because of their region thing google has going. Very annoying!

swype is currently in beta testing, which means it has not yet been officially released. currently you can download the "beta" version from their website for free, all you have to do is register with your email and they will send you a link to install it and a confirmation code. the reason people are saying you can't share it is because everyone is supposed to use their own confirmation code. you can get swype for free the way it is intended to be downloaded from their official website: http://beta.swype.com/
I recommend registering and getting it from them because it will be the most up to date, and you can contribute your ideas on how to improve it if you register for beta testing.

There are 2 versions of Swype, official release and beta release.
Latest official release as of today is v3.26.93.39062
Latest beta release as of today is v1.0.3.5809
You need confirmation code to download the apk from their site. If you already installed it, you would not need confirmation code to download it. Just need the installer to activate it

Wise words. I just got it from there and it's pretty amazing, I only miss some features from keyboard pro, but well, it's still a beta

Latest 1.3.1 beta use 50mb idle, 70-100 in use( at least on my phones).

As a swipe user of almost 2 years, I will say that the last update made swype absolutely horrible to use. Check their forum, full of complaints. I've since switched to SlideIT. Works just like swype with more features.

If you get the network error uninstall reboot and then reinstall. It works for me but cant understand certain words.

It's an app that was specifically for the Samsung galaxy SIII, but we are able to port to our phones now that we have the ics based roms. Is basically like Siri for Android

well I saw that you can download a hacked .APK for S voice that will work on any ICS phone, so I downloaded the .APK to use on my S2 w/ ICS on it. Now when I go to install it I get a message that says "Application not installed", can any one help me fix this so I can install it? I have seen people on youtube doing it with the S2 so I know it should work on my S2.

You should go to the Samsung galaxy s2 forums. But it may be a problem with the build.prop, I've seen threads where people have had to edit it

with the version i posted here, you don't have to mod the build.prop at all. if you would have read the op, you would have known this.

Didn't work for me it FC's as soon as I say "Hi Galaxy"

doesn't fc, but the main button freezes right after first command, then I have to kill it to fix it. The other buttons work like help and disable voice response. Also, the only command that seemed to work was "Hi Galaxy". Then it said hi. Other commands I tried included "call mom", and the response I got was "calling mom" and then freeze. The back button clears the messages on the board, but functions are useless.
