Hello,
In my Galaxy S2, I see that there is a downloaded application called ADSERVICE, which I do not remember having installed.
With such a name, I suspect a somewhat dirty thing.
Does anyone know what it is and if can remove it safely ?

im new in XDA, so i don´t know if it´s the right forum.
Well, i flashed the new SBamboo V2.4 and everything is working, but there´s a big problem. After flashing the SBamboo 2.4_ICS_Fullwipe.zip via CWM, my Phone (Samsung Galaxy S I9000) chanched his "ID" into Galaxy SGH 1897 (I sawit, when i was booting my phone). So the "Back-Key" has the same function as my home button. I don´t know how to fix this problem, because with every other ROM it works normally.
I hope you can help me because I have no rights to post in the SBamoo thread.

This rom is apply for Samsung captivate only. You should an other rom from I9000 thread.
You flashed a ROM that isn't meant for your model.
okey, i got confused, because in some posts it was said galaxy s and i didn´t knwo that there´s a samsung captivate galaxy s..
is there any similar ROM for the real Galaxy S?

I really want the Rom i have on my S3 to work on my P3110. I have tried to read on Google and throughout XDA but i now feel more confused than i did when i knew nothing! And i really have no idea where to start. (i have no idea what i'm doing, I've never had any experience)
Has anyone managed / does anyone know, if it is / has been possible to do this? and if so which guide should i be using?

I have recently rooted my device to CyanogenMod 10.1 and I wanted to install a new theme, called Kitkat. But there came a fault 'Theme is not good comparised' or something like that.. So I searched the internet for a solution for this problem. So I came to change the DPI of my Galaxy Gio. I downloaded an app and rebooted then. But now it won't start up anymore.. How can I solve this problem?

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 and has Overcome 7 Series v4.10.
I have wanted to install SKYGO and other applications but I am unable as there is a problem with the Firmware of the device.
My questions are
1) Is there a way round this so I can have all the apps I want on my device without any Firmware version issues
and
2) If I wanted to how do I remove the Overcome ROM and just run it back to stock?

I'm new to rooting + flashing .. basically everything to android. Currently I have rooted my phone via Odin V3.07 & using "CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100".
Everything works perfectly fine, until I try to install an app from Samsung - "Samsung Galaxy Life". It show that "Your device isn't compatible with this version." ** Before rooting my phone, I have no issue in using this application (Samsung Galaxy Life).
Well, I tried to download from other source, 1MobileMarket. I installed the Samsung Galaxy Life into my phone, end up showing "Oops! Couldn't load Data. Please exit and try again."
Anyone from help can help to solve this issue?

I've found the "solution" I guess.
I went to download the Samsung Galaxy Life APK from other sources (1MobileMarket), then update it from Galaxy Apps.
Now I can open it !
