Hi,everybody.
I had successfully ported CWM recovery&Bootmenu 2ndinit for spice,which allows us to use custom rom.
Now,you have two ways to use CWM recovery.One is entering CWM recovery through bootmenu,the another way is entering CWM recovery through stock recovery(Fake flash update zip).
Method 1:Through bootmenu
First of all,you need to root your spice.And then install bootmenu.
Download the bootmenu.tar file(attached).And push it into /sdcard/
Turn on usb debugging on your phone. And use the following commands in adb:

# mkdir /system/bootmenu
# cd /system/bootmenu
# busybox tar -xf /sdcard/bootmenu.tar
# rm /system/bin/charge_only_mode

# sync
# mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
# exit
The bootmenu will be installed.
Restart your device once.
Using Boot Menu:
Turn your phone off.
Press the Power Button.
After 1-10 seconds, the red led on your phone will light up for just 3 seconds (Still while the Motorola logo is being displayed).
Exactly when the led lights up, press the volume down button.
You will see the BootMenu, use the Volume Button to navigate up and down, and the power button to select an item.
Then you can select enter CWM recovery.(Someone say CWM's backup&restore cannot work,you can use method 2 for it)
Method 2:Through stock recovery(Fake flash zip)
I found that we can use CWM recovery with stock recovery leak(Fake flash update zip,like OpenRecovery),but this leak is only existed in SESGC_U3_10.10.0_RT firmware.
I have dumped this recovery(Attached file:recovery.img).And flash it by fastboot.It works well with SESLA_U3_01.72.0 firmware.
And then to flash a fake update.zip(Attached file:update.zip) from the root of your sdcard,you will enter CWM recovery!
By the way,if you want to port CM7 for spice,you need to use 2ndinit for your froyo/gingerbread,because it has locked bootloader.
I have compiled CM7 for it,and it can boot up but stuck in white screen after CM bootanimation.If you want to continue my work,you can checkout my github.

I haven't confirmed whether NAND backup will work in bootmenu,but it works well in fake update.zip way.
If your firmware version is SESLA_U3_01.72.0,you need to boot the phone into fastboot mode(bule screen,pressing Vol-up&Vol-down while the phone boots up),and using fastboot to flash recovery.img.
BTW:Some firmware(such as SESGC_U3_10.10.0_RT) do not allow fastboot.You can see some warnings in fastboot bule screen.

My firmware is SESLA_U3_01.72.0, nand backup really not work on first method, and in the second method, also not .
I followed a guide like this: [ht tp:// forum . xda-developers . com/showthread.php?t=918275]. I believe the command is flash_image the same effectiveness as the fastboot, because I could run the CWM_recovery from the update.zip (you said that this gap is only SESGC_U3_10.10.0_RT recovery firmware, and I do not use - no clue of what it is, just know mine, and Chinese MONSTER).
But I saw now that you've lost your XT300 and therefore believe that there is no possibility to test or you do something for it. But anyway, I am grateful and even my disposal device testing, if desired.
Taking advantage ... would be able to put an 'if' that is, the low volume was not pressed, he continued with the 'charge_only_mode', so that the battery could be charged with the device off? The phone will not enter charge only mode when you install bootmenu.
In method 2,NAND Backup&Restore works well when I use spice,I'm sorry that it doesn't work with some phone.

I understand that only with bootmenu the device not charge without boot but, my question was would like to know if one can apply this procedure to boot: power button pressed > magenta led light and Motorola logo > {(before bootanimation and bootinstructions) volume down button pressed while red led light? "yes? -> bootmenu" | "no? -> execute the real charge_only_mode binary", execute charge_only_mode.bkp for example, in my case, since renamed the original charge_only_mode for subsequent restoration of boot } > boot. Understand my question? :s
But if there is, I made two scripts, one for installation and uninstallation of another bootmenu (if someone wants I can post), but if you do not give to run the above algorithm, I use the update.zip CWM_recovery the same, so I can recharge my device is switched off, while I find I try to do a custom for 2ndinit.
Mr GentryLamp, you said above, in the opening thread, it has ported a CM7 for XT300 and it crashed after the Motorola logo. I some time ago, I replaced the file libGLES_android.so (in the folder / system / lib / egl), trying to enable the GPU, I fear there is not even in the chipset of XT300 and while on the Motorola logo, the screen was white, blinking. You keep intact the lib folder? Forgive me if I did wrong or very noob question, because I have no expertise in ROM switches, ports, CM, etc...
Regarding the nand backup, searched about it here, to see if I can find at least one script for it, because then I can become more peaceful to test changes more dangerous, not bothering with RDS, SBF ...

Great job, but I think this work is not useful because we don't have a custom Rom for this phone and the stock Rom sucks, I have this xt300 from my carrier iusacell Mexico, and is so slow and to f**king buggy, if is thera a chance to have a good froyo or gingerbread stable Rom will be perfect this phone have some potential but is too capable by the Motorola software
I hope we can some time get a good Rom for this great and cheap phone

You must be rooted (I assume z4root or universal android root works)
then either using terminal (grab terminal app from market) or using adb.
Grab the recovery.img and drop it into sdcard via usb or adb push.
Open terminal and type su and then flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
or if using adb, its adb shell and then su and then flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
Note: I am not the best at writing noobie guides but hopefully it helps

Anyone have a idea on how to get back into recovery? I have it installed but have tried holding every button to get me back and nothing kinda sucks since I have been testing new mods for this and cant get to my backup because the first shot at the mod was a fail.

Aside from stock(rooted) dump, there is nothing, I'll work with havic to get a rooted dump with google apps(market mostly) working correctly.
Besides that there is nothing else from my end for now. I personally don't like telechip tablets, bad experience from a gentouch :X
Also telechip company are retards and don't release kernel source, it'd help developers optimize a 2.1 rom and also be able to port kernel to a newer one for 2.2
I can see that this model gained popularity this black Friday. We are just now starting to see android tablets hit " Joe User ". I think that the telechip tabs will become popular so long as the price is on point. Thanks for all you do.

For now it is a good way to backup your unit so that if you screw it up you can go back. In the future people will make images for it. Hopefully someday android 2.2
Which version of flash_image tool is needed to flash this recovery or is the tool stock on the tablet?
EDIT: figured it out. stock. Looking through the dump now =)

If you try and recover from the backup that is in the link you may or may not get a error.The error is md5 mismatch. So the recovery fails to install.
What needs to be done is need to have busybox installed then shell in and run the following commands.
This has to be ran from the dir. that contains the backup files.
Which will more than likely be similar to this
/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2010-12-01.20.41.18
#busybox md5sum -c nandroid.md5
boot.img: OK
cache.img: OK
data.img: OK
recovery.img: OK
system.img: OK
# reboot recovery
reboot recovery
Once in clockwork then run a recovery.

When I type this it it says its file not found.
I double checked and in astro I see

where are you when you type that? does it not find the flash_image binary or the .img?
Worked for me
I got it working by doing the following.
1. Download and installed "Android Terminal Emulator" on to the device.
2. Download and installed Z4Root 1.3.0.apk from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953
3. Run it and pressed the "Permanent Root" button. It took a bit and it auto rebooted.
4. Place the recovery.img on the root of my sd card. (Razor950's recovery.img is from post#1 on this thread.)
5. Opened "Android Terminal Emulator".
6. Entered the following.
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
7. Locked everything up for about 5 min and it went back to # prompt when it was done.
8. I powered off the device.
9. After it turned off I pressed and held the back button then pressed the power button. Kept holding it until you see clockworkMod v2.5.1.3. (If it says Android it's too late.)
I have a question myself what is sd-ext on clockwork? Also is there a way to do a selective backup? Just system with no data?

Thanks for your procedure, will try it when I receive my tablet.
Regarding your question about sd-ext, it's a partition of your sdcard. One will be in fat32 and the other in ext2 or ext3. Usually ext2 is used when you have app2sd or 12sd+. The purpose of this is to have more apps in install by installing them on your ext partition instead of internal memory. I use it for my HTC desire (smartphone)
Regarding your second question, I don't know anyway of doing a backup without data but pretty sure it's possible, for example, if you go in your Android do a factory reset. reboot in recovery then do your backup. Not sure if there's another way to do it

Can you see the recovery.img on your sd card from a file manger app like Astro? If so when your in the terminal can you cd to /sdcard? If so can you enter ls -l recovery.img? Check the size to make sure it is all there.
I have anther question myself.
At cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=10498&pcat_id=1013 there is a firmware update. in the update.zip in system in the build.prop file i see a line that says "ro.build.version.incremental=eng.enzo.20101125.200217". I notice that the build number on the device says "MID7015 1.6a_20101105-2". Looks like they may have changed somethings but not sure what. What would be bet best way to figure out what they changed?
I tried to run it from clockwork and i get
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "tcc8900" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "tcc8900"
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
To install this update would I just have to unroot my device? Not sure how to look what the current ro.build.product is now.

[Q] CWM and .android_secure problem

Did anyone find a fix for it yet? Anything that winds up restoring .android_secure causes the phone to hang. It's getting really annoying, not sure if I read about a fix anywhere though.

You need to have made a clean backup with Krylon360's FINAL CWM, not ROM Manager.
CWM Final is v3.0.2.8
I backed up and restored .android_secure via that version without issue. It's related to the Rom Manager version that causes issues.
Iv been looking into it with dsexton and its a file on your sd card. Also you should only use krylons cwm

I had that problem with the rom manager version of CMW too but if you let it sit on the hangup for a few minutes then just hold the power button until your phone restarts let it boot and your phone will be restored

So I flashed CWM v.3.2.0.0 from ROM manager v.4.3.1.5 but have not yet backed up the phone's original stock ROM. Is there a workaround so I can use krylon360's CWM FINAL instead?

Looking for some help here. I am unable to get into recovery and therefore cannot do a nandroid backup and get to ROM-ing / hacking on my phone. Here's what I've done.
In linux I used the following commands to write krylon360's files to my phone:
adb shell
$ su
# mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
#exit
$exit
adb push update.zip /mnt/sdcard
adb push recovery /mnt/sdcard
adb push recovery /system/bin
Next I've tried the following to get into recovery and make a nandroid backup.
1.) simultaneously hold down volume up, volume down and power button.
result: phone stops at Tmobile/GalaxyS splash screen.
if I hold down the power button and reboot, I get a frozen progress star and large battery icon displayed in the middle of the screen. This is the same result for every variation.
repair- pull battery out of phone, put back, power on and execute:
adb reboot
2.) execute: adb reboot recovery
result: phone stops at Tmobile/GalaxyS splash screen.
repair, execute:
adb reboot
3.) selected recovery from ROM Manager
result: phone stops at Tmobile/GalaxyS splash screen.
repair- pull battery out of phone, put back, power on and execute:
adb reboot
Any ideas?

If you want flash kernel#60 then do the following:
adb reboot bootloader
the tablet will reboot and you will get only a blank screen . Be sure that the drivers are installed from windows update for the fastboot interface.
check it with : fastboot devices. If you get waiting for device the drivers are not installed.
fastboot boot v71_recovery.img
The twrp recovery comes up. Now you can install twrp by selecting install menu. Browse to the v71twrp.zip on the sd and install it. Now you have permanent twrp recovery.
now go back to install menu browse to the v7_kernel_60.zip and install it.
reboot and enjoy.

You can flash cwm using adb , you need root rights .The best is when adbd is running in root mode (for eaxample kernel#60).
Download this :flash_image binary
then turn on usb debugging.
to flash cwm you need the following commands:
adb push CWMrecovery.img /data/local/tmp
(where cwmrecovery.img is the name of the cwm image file name.)
adb push flash_image /data/local/tmp
adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/flash_image
adb shell (you need # not $ for flashing , so if you got $ type su to get #)
cd /data/local/tmp
./flash_image /dev/block/mmcblk0p18 CWMrecovery.img
Dont forget to remove the install-recovery.sh file from /system/etc othervise it will install stock recovery at system start if it has not the stock recovery.
To revert the bootloader you need to flash NON-HLOS.bin"to "/dev/block/mmcblk0p1" and "emmc_appsboot.mbn" to "/dev/block/mmcblk0p7" from a previous version .

--> Plug your tablet into usb, launch a command line, and use "adb reboot bootloader"
--> Download the CWM Recovery image from the link that fits your device.
--> Place it into the adb/fastboot folder (I am assuming you have downloaded fastboot already from the link above, during the root procedure).
--> In the command line, navigate to that folder (use "cd <path>").
--> input the command "fastboot flash recovery <filename>".
--> Reboot into recovery mode (should be Power + Volume down).
--> You should now be in CWM Recovery, and can now attempt to perform a nandroid backup.
Also, in order to prevent a possible hang, you should:
--> Reboot the tablet into the Android OS;
--> Mount it through USB;
--> Go into the clockworkmod folder;
--> Create an empty file with no extension called ".hidenandroidprogress"
After a period of testing this will be submitted to the Koush's Rom Manager. Source code is also available herehere, linked from utkanos' post.

Also, Benny3 has put together a CWM-flashable ROM package for the V55 tablet, including Joe's kernel #60 and a number of useful goodies. You can thank him and download the package from here.
Both device (v71, v11) were migrated into one kernel tree , so they both use the same source. (In case of v71 it is much newer source)
The whole kernel source was updated from the v55 sources .
Now they are in cwm recovery flashable format , because this package updates the kernel modules too in /system/lib/modules and enables to use the agps and NTP server setting was corrected . It points to europe.pool.ntp.org instead of the test one . Now my tab finds position within seconds . With the new kernel for me it seems the touchscreen is much better , but as before I am waiting for the feedbacks. Other fixes include: Touchscreen sensitivity, USB Charging etc.
Installation :
download the zip file
copy it to your tab's internal storage
start the tab in clockworkmod recovery
select install zip from sdcard
select the file for your model
install
reboot
and stock kernel for 10" :

--> don't forget to enable USB debugging in the tablet's application settings.
--> Put the fastboot.exe and the superboot.img files in the working directory you will be running adb from (Default should be at "C:\Program Files\ZTE Handset USB Driver".
--> Open a Command Line (Start Menu > Run > CMD) and navigate to the working directory. (Use "cd C:\Program Files\ZTE Handset USB Driver" or alter the path accordingly).
--> Write the following commands withing the command line:
--> adb reboot bootloader
--> fastboot boot superboot.img
--> The device should now boot with the Superuser.apk installed and SU in the /system/xbin/su, as well as allowing you adb root commands. Now run the following:
--> adb remount
--> adb shell
--> ln -s /system/xbin/su /system/bin/su
--> You can now exit the ADB shell and reboot the tablet.
--> Install busybox from the market and check the SU binary version with the Superuser.apk - try to update. If it succeed you are done.

Currently, me and mobilx are trying to put aside time to either:
obtain a dump of the boot.img that we can inject su and superuser.apk into;
compile the source code into a flashable rom that we can inject su and superuser.apk into;
get clockworkmod working on the device;
Due to time constraints, I haven't made much headroom this week, but I'm taking a couple of days off work and hope to make some progress.
P.S. Two more questions,

Haven't looked for it, but so far accessories for this line of devices seem to be lacking. With the popularization by Vodafone and the launch of the new Sprint V55 and similar tablets, these accessories should become more popular.
I haven't had any problems with the time on my device, sounds really weird.

Clock drift is happening due to Network-provided time setting. Im not sure what is causing this. It could be related to a Vip network or a failure of a process which obtains time from the network. If you want this not to happen just untick that option in settings.

Yes, indeed, but when I untick sync with Network-provided time, clock is ticking faster then it should.
It seems that clock chip on my device is not calibrated well or there is some other bug, it seems that it is HW issues... this is little more explained here:

It seems that I was unfortunate and get device with bad clock, also without root I'm unable to use ClockSync app that will solve my problem.
But what is bugging me, is the fact that I also have SGS I9000, and it is synchronizing with Vip network just fine.

Yes it happend to me once. First I unticked the network-provided time sync and after restart I ticked it again. The clock is fine since than.

Well, so far what possible leads we have that I can think of are these:

to quote Alterbridge of Team Overcome: "I presume the ZTE tablet uses boot.img format for its kernels, in which case you can extract the initramfs using mkbootimg (there are a number of scripts floating around). from there you can modify whatever you want in the initramfs and then repackage the boot.img and be on your way."
eldarerathis gave me some more instructions: "You basically need to extract the ROM's zip and add su/Superuser in the proper folders (su in /system/bin, Superuser in /system/app). You'll probably also have to look at the updater-script and add something to give su executable permission. It's usually something like 'set_perm(0, 0, 6755, "/system/bin/su");' that you need to add. The updater-script should be in the zip under /META-INF somewhere."
These are some of the useful bits of advice I received that could probably be put to good use when I have some free time. If you feel that anything is helpful, feel free to try it out.

That's fine. We have a dev utkanos who agreed to build the CWM for our device. He is very experienced in this stuff. The only way to build a proper CWM is to get a boot.img dumped or extracted from a leaked ROM.
So what we need to do:
Get root via some exploit (there is none for 3.2 HC yet) , dump boot.img and build CWM, flash CWM with fastboot, or
Find leaked ROM , extract boot.img, build CWM, flash CWM with the fastboot, root device with Update.zip
Yes the fastoboot is working and the bootloader is unlocked.
I have tried these exploits so far:

- The back button to go back
- The power button to select a menu item.

I have problem. I rooted my LG P690 and installed CWM bootloader. During installing custom ROM my phone bricked and rebooted after LG initial picture. I was able to enter only RECOVERY MODE by pressing PWR+BACKARROW+VOL_UP. But that was all, I couldn't also repair phone through HDZ_FW_UPD.exe , because problem with USB drivers. I tried everything, but without success. But I was able to connect to phone via ADB commands, downloaded update.zip, added it near fastboot.exe file, run fastboot and install that update.zip. I removed SD card to other phone, connected, uploaded some CyanogenMod 9 and moved SD card back to LG P690. Now I was able to enter BOOTLOADER (BUT I DON'T REMEMBER COMBINATION OF BUTTONS DURING SWITCHING PHONE !!!), and installed CyanogenMod9. Everything looks OK, but after rebbot and entering new Android OS my touch screen isn't working. I don't know why, but I think that problem is in that CyanogenMod9 version - it doesn't recognize touching screen. It reacts to pressing Vol UP/DOWN buttons (setting volume), pressing BACK button or long pressing PWR button. But that's all. I can turn off the phone by remobing battery. When it's ON and I connect it via USB, I cannot use ADB.exe or FASTBOOT.exe commands because PC donesn't recognise device
So now the question - how to enter bootloader during power ON sequence? I tried all combinations:
- pressing and holding PWR+VOL UP
- PWR+VOL DOWN
- quick pressing of VOL UP
- quick pressing VOL DOWN
- pressing PWR+BACK+VOL UP
- pressing.....and so on and so on
I don't know why I cannot access bootloader becasue before I did it without any problem....Can you please write me detailed "butto n sequence" for entering bootloader on LG P690 Optimus Net? Or am I LOL?

[HowTo] Infuse ADB Flashing Guide - Kernels, Roms, Modified 3e Recovery, Busybox

ABOUT:
This tutorial explains how to use adb to flash the following items starting from a UCLB3 base w/ root.
- Custom kernel w/ CWM recovery
- Modified 3e recovery
- Custom firmware (ROMS)
- Busybox
These instructions will most likely work coming from other rooted Infuse firmwares, but were tested starting from my Odin UCLB3 Unbrick package with root.
ADB SETUP:
Download: adb.zip
Download: SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe
Setup instructions are for Windows, but adb is also available for Linux and Mac.
a.) If necessary, uninstall any previous Kies or Samsung USB Driver installations, and install the Samsung USB driver from the above download link.
b.) Unzip contents of adb.zip and copy the folder contents to C:\Windows\
c.) If your phone is booted up and running, make sure you select USB debug mode in settings. ADB also works in CWM recovery, and in modified 3e recovery.
d.) To test your installation, open a command prompt (Press WINDOWS KEY + R - type cmd - press Enter).
Type:

Replace YourFirmware.zip with the actual name of your rom zip.

# reboot recovery
From here, just follow the normal instructions for flashing your ICS rom in blue recovery.
I'll add to these instructions as I find more for ICS, and as support increases for adb in the CWM recovery we're using in ICS roms. At this time, adb support isn't fully working in Infuse ICS CWM recoveries. If you use adb to get an ICS kernel / CWM recovery combination, just use the recovery menu to do anything else. If you need to get other files onto the device while in blue CWM recovery, go to mounts and storage, mount /sdcard/, and mount USB storage.
Hope this is useful to someone else. I mainly wanted to see how much could be done with just adb, and I learned quite a bit about how the phone works in the process.

Thanks fellas. And, by the way, I know that most general users aren't going to use adb to flash kernels and firmware. It's of course easier to use all of the Heimdall one-click and Odin tools that we have - as well as the Infuse Toolkit, Heimdall suite, SGS Kernel Flasher, and CWM recovery. So, for the person asking, "Why would someone still do this, when we have all of the tools that we have?" - this isn't for you.
I approached this from the standpoint of asking, "What if we didn't have access to all of the easy tools?".
At some point, if someone is having issues with Odin and Heimdall, or if they can't use their hardware buttons, maybe they will find this useful. I like to do things from the command line and not have to touch the phone while I'm working on development stuff - plus I type fast, and since I spent years in the command line on Slackware linux, prefer using unix commands. I'm actually faster at CLI stuff than with GUI stuff, plus I like the control that CLI gives you.
I had to help a forum member restore his phone over a remote tech support session using https://join.me/ . He claimed that he couldn't get Heimdall or Odin to recognize his phone. I was able to use adb to do things from his computer, which was helpful, since I couldn't see or directly use his phone. I had to ask him to do some things on the phone, so I later wanted to figure out how to do more using just adb. That's what this is all about. If I had to help someone over a remote session now, I could do most everything without them ever touching their phone.

the first issue is the phone reboots but continues to system and not to recovery.
now if I manually make it boot recovery, CWM gives me an error that it couldn't mount: SDCARD:update.zip
the update.zip that I'm trying to flash is CM9 RC2, also tried other zip files and also failed.
what am I doing wrong ?!

If you follow the steps correctly from Gingerbread (including the step to install modified 3e recovery), and replace "YourFirmware.zip" with the name of your firmware, these adb commands use 3e recovery to flash firmware. These flashing instructions are not for CWM recovery, and the steps you are following aren't for flashing ICS from Gingerbread. Look further down in the first post for ICS adb instructions.

Thanks for clearing it up. The reason why I used that method is because I looked online and I found it on another forum and the post owner didn't mention anything about it should be used with GB.
infuse CM9 rainbows
I'm caught with a half-done CM9 install of the infuse upgraded from cm7.
Somehow I was able too boot once sucessfully into CM9 though with the initial rainbow screen, but now my device hangs in recovery which is also garbled. I've been searching all over for a nice thorough guide to getting this thing going again and your post here was the only one I found remotely applicable to my situation.
I've been trying your ADB instructions for flashing with ICS but I'm stuck at second step: where I only get: cannot stat "flash-image": no such file or directory.
Since I'm stuck in CWM recovery none of the other options seems to see my device, ie. Heimdall or Odin.
Is there a better solution out of my woes?

By stucked at recovery you mean it always boots up into recovery (recovery bootloop)?
You should go back to ULCB3 stock, preferably using Jscott's "option C" and flash the GB bootloaders. Then proceed to installing CM9, and remember to do a double flash. (wipes, flash, reboot, phone hangs, boot into cwm with 3-finger combo, wipe and flash!)
This way you'll solve both the recovery bootloop and the rainbows, and bring you CM9

Yes the problem right now is that the only understandable thing I get out of the phone is the samsung logo at boot.
I think it goes into recovery but I can't really tell because the screen is garbled. Also using "adb reboot download" seems to make no difference to Odin or Heimdall which both refuse to see the phone.
I would love to find out exactly which state the phone is in but my knowledge of adb isn't that great to say the least.
How do I flash bootloaders using adb only?
I totally appreciate your help Andros, totally out of luck with this so far.
The only way to flash bootloaders is in download mode using either odin or heimdall.
Adb reboot download should get you into download mode as long as you have adb access while on recovery. If not, get into download mode this way:
Take out battery, and put it back in.
Hold both vol+ & vol- (don't press power)
plug in usb cable to phone.
Once in download mode, your phone should be recognized by Odin. If not, try reinstalling the drivers using the ones in the iset thread.
There are many threads about this situation that should also help you out, just search around

Okay, somehow I missed how to use the keys to enter download state.
In my mind using adb to enter download state should be the same as the keys but somehow that isn't the case.
Got the GB bootloaders installed and used an odin package and then redid the CM9 installation.
Sorry about spamming this thread, and thanks to andros for getting me going again.
Interesting, I also didn't know that could make a difference. Lesson learned lol

hi , i am having serious problem ,
my i997 was ok before after doing a mess , now its in 3e reocvery restarts in samsung logo comes to 3e recovery again and so on.....i did everything ,flashed with I997UCKH1 but all in vain .
Could somebody guide what to do ?

i used heimdall ,it flashed successfully but still no result .
how to do he same using odin ?
could you please add more steps in order o recover the phone fully .
