Can n7player from the Play Store read music from the phones internal memory? - General Questions and Answers

Anyone? I want to know before I purchase it.

It does, I am trying the trial right now.
I suggest trying the free version first, because there are always better players on the market.
Someone over at Lifehacker suggested PowerAmp to have more features.
Anyways keep me up to date and try the free version.

Just did, pretty cool UI but my music on the phones internal memory doesn't show Anything you do to yours to make them show?

What phone do you have? My Nexus S only has Internal memory, no SD Card.
and it can detect my Tupac songs just fine. They're MP3 btw. Make sure you totally end the app task before you add new music for real detection.
Oh I also put my music in the Music folder hope that helps

Droid incredible. I'll try naming the folder music, the music I have have is just in a folder called "Tech N9ne" all my other music is on my SD. I have so many Tech albums that it will leave my card spaceless.

That might just be the issue, try doing that. The app should always detect the music regardless internal memory or SD card.
Cheers, and good luck

Seems to find it now, thanks!

So... Is there a fix for the Youtube problem or not?

I love the fact that I have a smart phone to basically search anything that I dare to search.
One big thing I love to do is jam out to "Ride the lightning" by Metallica on YouTube, I like to keep my SD card on the slim side as with everything else
Why can I not keep YouTube closed (running in the background) and still have whatever was running/playing (play) ?
I don't like the mobile YouTube app it sucks
I have tried Opera Mini and Firefox (blows)
Need to see other options (other users such as your fine selves).
Any words?
could get a hold of the song somehow and put it on your phone as a mp3 and just play it in a music player.
Well... I like to keep it slim (hint) haha
I am not so limited either as far as " I can only have this many songs"
Currently I only possess a 2gB card
But the infuse has 16gb(well like 14.3) internal storage? Confused.

Not to mention you can put a 32gb sd card in on top of that. As for the youtube app not playing with the screen off... I'd imagine they figure not too many people are watching videos with the screen off. One song will not take up that much space.

I understand the point... I also hate when I search something to play on youtube and when I try to answer a text message or do anything I lose the streaming!...
I someone find a modified youtube app please share!

On Media Hub is it possible to delete files to free up space? If so will I lose said file, or will I be able to redownload or whatever for free?
Use root explorer to delete files.
Use titanium backup to uninstall apps

I don't think he's asking how to actually delete them, I think he's asking if he downloads a movie can he delete the movie than install it again for free. Since most movies are a whole gb I can understand why people would want to. I believe to can, when you pay and download the movie you actually own that copy which tells me you can delete and install anytime you see fit.

That's exactly what I'm asking. There's a penny deal going on this week and I downloaded a Dave Chapelle episode for a penny, so I think I'll try to delete and redownload. It'd be no big deal if lost since it'll only be a penny to buy back. Thanks for the reply.
Glad to help. Just in case you didn't know or realize, all of your purchases are assigned to your media user name, so you can even install them on a different phone just as long as it has the samsumg media hub and you use your media user name.

Figured it out completely. If you delete an item it stills shows up in the My Media section as watchable but with a download symbol next to it. It stays in your library as simply a placeholder to tell that you own it. And if you want to reinstall you just click the DL button and it's back on your device. Thanks again man, your help was much appreciated.

External sd storage

Ok so don't flame me I did search the forums with the app.
Does anyone know how to change setting for apps and downloads to go to the sd card and not on the phone?

From what I've seen, it's not an easy task & not even always desirable. Many apps are designed by the Devs to Have to be installed on the internal sd. Since you've searched, you're probably aware of some apps that allow you to move some (but not all) apps to the external sd card.
Have a look at this link;

And as for searching, Google is sometimes a better place to search than xda..

Thanks for the info. I normally search google over Things like this but figured someone might have had the same question here on xda.
