Hi everyone,
I am a huge fan of all of your work and have a question problem with my new HTC Flyer 3g+Wifi.
I got it with Hboot 1.11.00011 and cant downgrade to 1.11.0007 first of all but got Revolutionary Recovery 5.2.0.4 beta on it and did a root and flashed now the ICS Lisbon 1.2 on it.
Booted normaly without any problem, but it does not find my wifi. It finds otherones in the region but not mine. Did not have this problem with the Stock ROM.
Does anyone have a solution for me. I really want to use ICS on my flyer

Found the problem ICS Lisbon didnt find it because my wifi was on channel 13 and now I changed it to auto and it was on 4-5 and I found it

i have a htc desire s i havent yet receieved the new update to ginger bread 2.3.5 (sense 3.0) ive tried downloading one from here renaming it to update.zip and putting it on me sd card and rebooting the phone recovery blah blah and hasnt worked
can anyone tell me or give me a link of the one that will work for my version

Hi guys i have a sensation XE that has been running ARHD for about three months. A couple of my apps wont download from the market as it says not compatible with our device however they worked before i rooted and changed roms.
Now the ICS official update has been released by HTC i was hoping to return to stock And carry out the official htc ics update to see if that solves the problem with the aps If any knows how i do this please get in touch? i know i need an ruu but cant find one that works.
Any help greatly appreciated.

What do you mean you can't find one? If you are supercid-ed then you can use any one of them.
i need an ruu that is for the xe but the only ones i can find are ics for normal sensation if anyone can link to a ruu for sensation xe that would be appreciated

Sorry to tell you this, but the problem you are having with your apps is because you are using ICS Android not because you are using a custom ROM. A lot of apps have not been updated to work with Android 4.0.3. I know this because I had to use my HD2 while I am waiting on my sensation to be repaired and I am using ICS on it. A couple of my regular apps would not work on my HD2 namely G+ go figure that one, you would think Google would have already updated it but it would not work on 4.0.4 but it will work on 4.0.3. Anyway I am pretty sure this is your problem.

used RUU from H3G, it needs ROM version 1.57.771.1
tried trawling the internet for other RUU, no joy with anything.

My phone was working fine untill I got new ( my phone already had ICS 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6 ) update from HTC 3 days ago, it was software update 3.33.707.7.. after updating my wifi stopped working ! I some how managed to solve this wifi problem, but still wheneva I restart my phone I need to connect my phone with some other wifi first, and then it works on my own wifi.. My current software version is 3.33.707.6, android version is 4.0.3 and HTC Sensce 3.6..
My phone is not rooted ! Kindly tell me how I can revert back to previous firmware(3.32.401.5)and then root my phone ?!
I m a beginner. and dunno much how to root or revert !
I searched your forum first ! but dint find the solution to my prob i.e Reverting back to stable firware and then root the phone !

SuperCID your phone and then run any RUU you want to get back to stock GB rom.
Can you please elaborate it little more !?

The key is to get S-OFF so look for tutorials that get you there. Then you can do all sorts of marvellous things.
Alternatively, I have also seen people get to the Carrier's service desk, complain and get a fix pushed to the phone.
WiFi
You may just have to forget the WiFi network and enter the key again.
Hi everbody,
It's my first post on this forum, hope that someone can help me. I have a htc one s with the 1.5 processor.
It is branded by TIM(italy). First when i bought it, i wanted the stock rom, so my brother tried to install it for me but he did not succeed.
Though he managed to unlock the bootloader.
A week ago i updated the soft to jb 4.1.1. Since then, the gps is not working(maps, facebook, weather, etc). I tried gps fix from play store, but was efficient for a few hours, then nothing. I've talked to the customer service from htc, and they told me that this is happening because i made the update to jelly bean with the unlocked bootloader.
First of all, can i make a downgrade ? Or can i debrand the phone ? And in both of cases,will the gps work ?
I also heard about a patch that will fix the gps ...
