Hey, i got the following problem:
I always get the error, that there is a problem with my sd card (should be internal usb storage) and I should format it. But if i want to format it, it keeps saying that the sd card is in use.
In CWM the usb storage is still usable, but I did not find a solution to remount the internal storage.
The problem started when i put a external sd card in my device. The device is a AMPE A90 with CM9 on it.

I need some help, looked around the forums and cannot find a fix.
I recently updated to 2.3.3 and can't for the life of me get the External SD card to be read while in USB storage mode.
I've also noticed that I have to press the "Turn on USB storage" button twice to just get the Internal SD Card to mount. The first time it shows loading but then does nothing (could be primary issue).
I can see the Internal SD card but not the external. It also seems that when I turn on USB storage and then off, I have to physically re-mount the External SD card to get it to even read it. Anyone have any suggestions?
This is exactly what I had when I upgraded to GB 2.3.3.
I took out sd from my G2X and reformatted on my Mac, then put it back. That solved my problem in my case.

Apparently you messed up the Volds.fstab file and it's unable to mount your storage partitions!
Flash this mod through CWM and hit thanks.. and it should fix the problem.. :good:

Phone storage and sd card is missing in file manager
Please help I don't know what i,'ve done and my phone and SD card storage are missing. .and I've tried to format my tablet. .nothing happened and then I've try to download cwm. Recovery and it won't work because its version is 4.0.3 and my version is 4.2.2 . .they still not updating that version. .is there any solution to fix this problem? PLease HelP
Recently (a couple of days ago to be exact), I tried partitioning my SD card... It worked fine but when I formatted, the system recommended that I close all running apps. I did during partition but during format I did not (stupid yes) and this damaged my SD card. So this is the problem: The phone can still read it (it shows my SD storage capacity at Settings and I was able to successfully transfer some apps to it) but the pc cannot. Whenever I connect it to pc, it doesn't do anything like show the number of things that you can do with the mass storage device; I can't even see what drive it is. I need help. Can I still salvage the SD card? I've tried formatting the card via the android device twice.
I have a back-up too, but I would like to try saving the SD card. Thank you!

It worked for the SD card, but my pc won't detect it as a mass storage device (which it always does before). I might have overlooked some tips at the thread you gave, so I'll look again tomorrow.

If you remember what you change just do it in reverce. When i done that kind of things i save the old files.I have done it on my SX E and it was easy fixing it.Just reverce the names and the card will work.

Hi Experts,
Am using Penta WS702C tablet. I hv used data cable for power source. Due to data cable prob it restarted many times. Later my tab is not detecting Internal SDcard. OS is working and all installed apps running. But,i can't mount Internal SD card. When i click mount SD card nothing happened.
Please help me to solve this issue.
