How can I (is there any app) separately secure "find my phone" option (exmpl. password) OR how can I hide it from system settings list?
There is no need to. You cannot disable this feature alltogether. If someone stole your phone or you lost it, you can still go to windowsphone.com and locate, lock or wipe it (unless it's in airplane mode). The settings only allow "faster" location of the device.

Hi,
I enabled the lock feature on my WinM 6.1 which i then later find it to be troublesome. Now, im having difficulty disabling the auto Lock feature.
Here is what i did, Settings>All Settings>Personal>Lock>(key in password)
I can't uncheck the box that says "Prompt if device unused for". Its gryed out.
Anyone out ther can help please

Hi,
I created a keyguard task which is triggered by a NFC event (NFC Task - Launcher > Tasker > Secure Settings).
So the Tasker task is: SS-Clear Password + SS-Keyguard Disabled + SS-Lights on.
And it works perfectly...
BUT!!
Now I fully encrypted the device (Galaxy S4 I9505).
As a result the task isn't working anymore.
"SS-Keyguard disabled" is still working (at least it shows the advice in the notification bar).
But I believe "Secure Settings - Clear password" isn't working.
Even the task is started (I put "play ing tone" in the task-chain to check this) I have to type in the passphrase.
So it is not possible to deactivate the lock screen by using a NFC tag
So I am !!urgently!! looking for advice how to enable "Clear password" as well as "Set password" in Secure Settings on an encrypted Android 4.2.2 device.
Please help. Maybe the developer can explain it in detail?

Posted this in the LG section but have since rid of that phone for the S6.
I'm hoping to find a way to disable the lock screen when i'm at home or another trusted area, without the need for unnecessary GPS/Location usage as with what the 'smart lock' option demands. Also, without having to root the device.
On my S4 widgetsoid did this brilliantly right from the notification panel and it would coincide with the device locking features that were set.
For instance. Whenever i was home I'd disable by tapping the padlock icon. Then if i went out I'd just tap it again to enable it. If I forgot to enable it, the set time limit for the locking options would take control and eventually automatically lock the device on it's own.
Is there anything available like this? Widgetsoid needs system access for this feature to work now.
Just like how android does re-authentication when changing the Lockscreen PIN/Password in system settings, it should do the same for the 'Device Administrator' screen also. It's a must feature. What do you guys say? Is there anyway to do that with a 'App Lock' from PlayStore? I mean to lock a certain activity instead of a whole app.

I am trying to disable the 3-finger swipe for screenshot, but my device (Blackview Tab 8E) does not have this option in settings (no Advanced Settings, no Motion settings, not in Display either).
I was wondering if there is a 3rd-party app that can access this option, or even a way to do this via adb.
I would really apreciate it if someone could give a lead!
