Development dead.......don't think so - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Guys this thread is started by me just with two proposes
Thanks to all the devs for their hard work and patience (a lot) by my part because devs are normal people that they quit time of their free time just to develop for our phone
And say to the people that say thanks to dev and if you can donate because people feel happy and good when other people say thanks for their good works now devs don't like thanks msg they like better thanks button
I really can't say how much that I am happy that development is back after weeks and maybe months but anyway I didn't make this thread just to make questions for roms or other stuff is just for unleash the thanks for the devs hard work (BTW devs works is in development section because a newbie ask where are the devs works)

Yep there's a button for that. But thanks for pointing it out.

And here we go again...

Developer Appreciation

I saw a thread like this in the Fascinate Forums but could not find one in here.
So here it is. I just wanted to say Thank you to all the developers out there making these great mods for our phones. I have finally been able to get my mesmerize to perform the way I feel it should with the Kernels and ROM's found on XDA. I am a pretty tech savvy guy but android was completely new to me. With the well written walk throughs and very well designed/written ROM's and Kernels. I was able to do everything I wanted to without a single issue.
All in all. Great work guys. I look forward to the future of android and all the great Mods,ROM's, and Kernels that come with it.
I second that.
Thanks
Kind of a pointless thread, if you want to thank them there is a button for that. Or donate to them or something.

Its been awhile since I've been on forums. Must have missed the button. I do intend on donating as well.

Just to say thank you...

I wanted to start this thread to thank EVERY SINGLE MEMBER here that helps us(sometimes ungrateful) people. Noobs, etc., you have to remember that these guys do not HAVE to be doing this. Some do it for donations, some do it for the pleasure of helping others, and some do it for experience(Me). My knowledge is very limited compared to most here but I try to help when I know what Im talking about lol. Just wanted to point this out especially from what I have been READING in the forums lately (especially the kg4 leak forum ). Feel free to add your thanks and give homage to the individual members that have helped you(OR DONATE),THIS IS NOT A ***** AND MOAN THREAD!!!!!!!!!
EDIT:Too many members to thank individually but you know who you are.
I agree! PLUS 1
I know I'd be lost!

I too want to Thank all the people who have helped me.
I recently bought a laptop and have been going back into the threads to hit the Thanks button for you all. I wasn't able to do that for a couple of months.
XDA only allows 5 Thanks a day so they may be slow but they are surely coming.
Thank You
We really appreciate your thanks to all members, I hope that includes me As you remember XDA has done a major effort to put a thanks buttons so you can give away all the thanks you want.
On that note, thread closed.

Thank You To All Who Make XDA What It Is

I'm one of those people who browse threads, read, and do my best to learn without asking questions. i have never really had a big reason to post replies to anything. everything i ever need or want for info is always here somewheres on this site.
This is my thank you to all of you developers and senior posters that make XDA great and keeps XDA just a little bit above the rest.
I am genuinely appreciative of everything you all contribute to the android world.
Please keep up the good work.
I totally agree, dude. these folks need some love.
Couldn't agree more!!!
Great work, It is much appreciated.
Agreed. not just in the Gtablet forum but in every forum as well. No one asks these people to do all these wonderful things for our devices... they just do
Thank you devs!
And also thank you XDA staff for all the behind the scenes work you do.
:d:d:d:d
thank you!!!
:d:d:d:d
Many thanks
Just sending out thanks for all the work the developers do to make the devices we love to use the best they can be.
i agree. if it wasn't for the people here at xdev and other sites like it, the gtab would have died an ugly death long ago. i have gained so much knowledge just from reading all the questions and posts. i've donated a couple of times and encourage others to do the same if you can. if not, thumbs up and thanks at least lets them know their efforts are appreciated.

sorry i corrected it
the link is :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449649
what is your purpose?
first of all if dhiru thinks he need help he would say.
second, it is not the right place to ask help from other developers.
Why are you spamming this forum? First in the genealogy sub section, then in the threads of the general sub section, then now the development sub section. The development section is for development strictly, and not for these kinds of threads. I hope you understand, look through xda's rules and you will understand.
Cheers

Sorry to say but I really don't understand the way many people here starts flaming/bossing/teaching to others. Were you all born Experts ? Why don't you remember that every expert or Dev today was an absolute noob or novice at one time ?? Would they or you loved to be flamed ? Don't do to others what you don't like for yourself.
Also before telling Moderators to do "their work" learn to have respect for these hard working guys. They are not paid to do such a tough and selfless job and then somebody would pop-up saying Moderators get this guy out of here and do your job. Yeah sure you are paying them.
This place is not one of the most revered names cause every beginner or anyone gets flamed for some or no reason cause it make some feel good but because of polite and helpful discussions, exchange of knowledge and innovation at its best. This is what makes it XDA. Be glad to be a part of this brilliant community.
Politeness and Patience never hurt anybody. These and many other qualities are reasons I respect and still remember Rex. RIP.
Good day everyone !
Guys politely tell noobs/newbies, there's no use starting a 'verbal' war here. Xda is meant for sharing and caring, don't make this website a warzone please. This thread has already been reported to the mods anyway.
Cheers

Useless thread is useless. The devs are doing their best, asking more devs to help a team that is already working hard is nobody's business. If the devs need help they'll ask for help.
Thread closed.

Hats off to the devs

Just wanted to take a quick second (after a long break from the Xda world) to thank all the devs for there hard work and devotion to the A2 community...... Without you guys we would be back on Gb..... Just look at some of the other phones out here like the g2x no devs to keep support they do not even have a real stable Ics..... My salutes to all you and keep up the outstanding work and awesome top of the line roms.....:highfive:
The whole reason for the "Donate" and "Thanks" buttons, is to avoid threads/posts like these from clogging up the forums. I believe your intentions are good and I'm sure the Developers here appreciate your kind words, but please try to avoid creating these types of threads/posts in the future.
Thanks :good:
