I was just wondering, since we have Ubuntu ports, would it be possible to port the backtrack distro to android?

Has anyone had any luck with running ubuntu via the chroot method? If so what rom and whose guide did you use?
I have also seen there's a project getting ubuntu to natively boot on the desire hd, anyone think we could bring this to our phone?

I think so, anyone that makes/develops an Android rom should be considered an Android developer.
I wouldn't say just compiling the rom would make them an Android developer because building it really only requires you to type a few commands into the command line.
i'm torn on that one too does it matter how you're called?
Does anyone know where I can learn to make a ROM? Currently studying c++/c programming and my career is to be a
software engineer and need some training to produce a sense and aosp ROM with some goodies
Thank you

hmm.. well sense ROMs aren't much C/C++
best thing you can do is download the source to CM10 and mess around with it
