HOW TO INSTALL
- Starting installation with any original froyo 2.2.2 (rooted)
- Download MotoGinger-RemiX and put the unzipped folder in Microsd--->(folder and subfolder) clockworkmod---> backup---> put motoginger-test5 folder
1. wipe via CWM
2. advanced restore (system/only)
3. flash fixed-sbf ----> you find it in zip folder of rom (MotoGinger MS2 Release)
4. wipe via stock recovery, then reboot.
For peoples that have GREEN lens, after installed motoginger-rom, can flash from recovery, the patch by Simplestas ---> LINK
EXTRA
- if you like other theme/satusbar, you can flash it from recovery as a zip!
--> Theme sense style with battery %
--> Theme Honeybread style

just imported some files (lib.audio.soxxx) from milestone2 rom, and in defy worked well!!

go in settings/wireless/network/mobile network/access point names and flag on your operator!

nice to see our russian friends are here sharing there work for us.. a little tip guys.. dont put so much init.d script because some of them are the same the only difference is the value ..i suggest review the init.d script and remove what are similar commands to avoid changing the desire function...

3. Go to Recovery and wipe
4.Install my rom in recovery
5. wipe all
6. Reboot

I don't know about multiboot ,have never used it .
Yes it is downgradable ,Its a nandroid backup .

I have a stock froyo red lens defy, so I have to do this.
But I was wondering if I could add a gingerbread kernel (the "boot.img" file) to your zip, update the md5 file, and restore this updated nandroid?
Could I update everything in one step like this?
And what about "devtree.img", is it necessary/useful to update?

this rom is working great...only one thing: i've FC when I try to create or to reply to an email in the email application...no one has my same problem? what can I do to fix it? thanks!

Try it out and you'll see .Personally I always used the fixed-sbf & RSD-lite method .

Try changing language to english and see if it still FC .I'm not having this problem.

Definitely good work buddy. But dont u think that now we have nearly 4-5 CM7 threads (every thread is unofficial cm7) with almost same development & same problems like lack of video recording support....??? Insted of this u work with waleedq & Ganesh & post updates in one thread like u have added Beats Audio & Xloud mod. U can add these files in Ganesh cm7 thread also.
Its just my friendly suggestion

Downmload the lastetd CM7 gApps here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps, it's work
In your gApps the Play Store don't work, and no other gApps is installed, whit the Orginal CM File work it great.

Using this rom now, and I couldn't get the link to download on the device either. I had to download it on the computer and transfer via cable to get it on there. All in all its an ok rom for now haven't really tested anything yet. I installed the CM Kernel but I kinda wish I used a different option. Wish the rom used SuperSU by default as well.

Its aroma, can't you just reflash, choose a different kernel this time, and then wipe cache and dalvik cache.

No complaints here very smooth

Due to problems with my ubuntu server i wasn't able to update the base these days. tomorrow i can do this and will upload a updated version. android 4.2.2 will be included and some new other features
