Yes and yes.
That file is like the file they make you download with MobileODEN it has a backup kernel and other things it needs to flash properly.
Before using this on my n7000 I had a binary count of 5 and yellow triangle. after using the download mode screen shows I am on official Samsung Rom and it doesn't show a line for custom binary count because it has been reset to zero. And the triangle is gone.
Hopefully you are on a safe.kernel like speedmod or Franco's I would make a cwm backup as always first. Then rboot like normal then use the app. It will reboot you to its screen with instructions.

This app will work only on 4.x FW so any of the 4.0.1-4.0.4 it will work. and you have to be on a KERNEL that has SU and Busybox/CWM built into the kernel. so you could use Franco's kernel, CleanNote's kernel , Speedmod Kernel. and a few others.. and like always yes you need to be ROOTED nomatter what this app only works for ROOT Users.

1.Now,Lewa OS just support English and Chinese.
2.it may take a few minutes to reboot it.
3.when you find status_bar FC,ingore it.

Please backup your contacts to SD card,for gapps installed by yourself may not work.
The Rom was .zip file ,you need copy it to SD,enter into Recovery and flash it.Wipe data and Wipe cache.

I had use that rom you said.But i found i could not use phone in my daily life ago.
So,i transplant it from lewa official rom.
Maybe they have the same place,but there are difference between them.Now,i use it.

no calling bug in the rom expect automatic recording can not work while calling others.
the lewa ROM can be used in daliy life if you do not use the portable hotspot function.

Great Work There! Did you port it yourself? have you tested it?
Flashed this earlier this morning and seems to be running well - thank you.
The only problem I've had is not being able to download apps from the play store over mobile data.
The mobile data connection is working, as browsing/facebook etc is all possible, as well as searching the play store, but whenever I try to download an app it just keeps trying to connect without getting anywhere (and I definitely have unticked the 'download over wifi only' box!!)
Not sure if this is ROM related or not because, as I say, the mobile data connection itself is working, but over the last few days I've used rExtreme ROM and Miui 3.8.9 and this didn't happen with either of those.
Other than that, great ROM mate - thank you

Just the Kernel that comes with the ROM - in settings>>about phone it is listed as kernel version 3.0.31-1153417
The kernel is the stock kernel. If you want to change the kernel then search for samsung/stock based kernels like Yank555.lu kernel.
As for the play store... I'l check what can be problem.

Yes I don't think that that problem is related to the baseband or the APN. I'll checked. Also clearing cash/data for play store doesen't solve the problem.

I uploaded the wrong file. It was missing part of the bootloader. Wont hurt anything but I re-uploaded it with the missing txt files.
Its there now. XDA is running sloooooooowww...

I have had this issue I haven't resolved it but it sucks. I tried to install cleaning weeks ago I can't connect to Wi-Fi either. So I just kept stock rooted

I'm blind or dumb, because I don't see the Odex file there. It says there are 2 files there, but only the De-Odex shows up.

2. 240 working fine.
3. Sorry I can't because I have limited bandwidth and pathetic upload speed (less than 10kb/s)

Seems to be the perfect rom, as fix to spen input and rom control both present.
just two questions:
1. Is the smart select saving to scrapbook still gives force close
2. Is the spen button working to drag-and-select images in gallery, also air command can be launched by spen button??
EDIT: (UPDATES about 5.2)
None of the above issues anymore (spen button still not working) It's the best version till now, installed xposed all butter smooth

yes, you can dirty flash it on aurora 4.3, i did the same. all good till now, but i would recommend to have a clean flash to get everything smooth and best battery.
