I had not much free time, found the stock headphones and rented wifes bluetooth .
So time to new MusicBox2 next gen.
What changed:

2. Beats mixed with EQ Bass Boost DSP effect. I will call it - Beats HD .
This bass in Beats does not have dreamed owners Sensation XE.
True it on my sennheiser headphones, not stock, on stock simple much better.
Really sorry for the owners of Sensations XE
they haven't MusicBox and only have two effect: beats and no beats .
3. For BT A2DP Beats swaped with new WOW SRS Voice effect.
4. SRS Voice patched for route through A2DP.
5. All change applied to HTCVideoPlayer

MusicBox it first package of mods HTC Video and Music players with working Beats effect for Desire HD.
The main idea it get working all possible audio effects for speaker, BT and wired HeadSet.
So it include some selected and patched system modules.
Now MusicBox provide:

For Bluetooth A2DP - WOW SRS effects (SRS, HTC 5.1, Voice, Equalizer) since they can be route through BT.
For speaker and wired HeadSet - hardware DSP effects(Dolby, SRS, Beats and WOW Equalizer)
Beats effect good for high class wired headphones, but sounds bad on stock headset.
So this version musicbox include tweak option "Beats Boost" on RCMix Tweaks page "Misc Options".
In checked state players will use DSP "Bass Booster" instead of Beats effect when choise Beats item. In unchecked state players will use true HTC Beats effect.

2. Completed sound effect dialog in Music player, equalizer apply, store and restore now correct.

I flash it and it's working. To me beats has more bass which is great !!! And I didn't even enable.bass boost yet + plus I'm using stock headphones so flash away guys don't forget wipe dalvik cache first

it's a mod, that boosts the bass for beats audio.
option is in RCMix tweaks--> misc

Which one is the updated one? I followed your link and flashed that. It borked my new tweaks. I read the date of the post and it was November 8th. I'm glad I copied the new tweak apk. What version is that attached at the bottom of the op? It's very confusing.

IT ONLY WORKS WITH RCMIX AND RCMIX RUNNY PORT.
this feature is included into the stock sense 3.5 music app, and also the tweaks that both roms have, that's why only these two roms support it.
so , IT WILL NOT WORK ON ANY OTHER ROM!!

I understand thanks, but only reason I asked because I saw Tez's signature earlier with miui ics, so I wasn't sure if he had figured out how to run it on there. Thanks for responding.
Just curious though, is it possible to get Beatmod on the current MIUI ICS? And will it work with Google Music?

there is a beta version flashable in the themes and app section but mikrunny has the beats by dre in it

Yeah I dl the zip and flashed the file here:http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/21/xda-makes-beats-by-dre-flashable-to-any-sense-3-0-or-3-5-rom/ but I quess it didnt work I dont see beats by dre anywhere in my apps or music player. I would luv to try mikrunny it just dosent have 4g to my knowledge and I'm addicted to my 4g I use my wifi tether and when in 3g it super sux

You aren't suppose to see it in your apps and its not an option in your music player. Once you play your music(which should be the htc music player) then a red beats icon will show up in the notification status. I don't think it works with any other player

So the music player that's on my phone is not the HTC player? Sorry if I'm sounding newbie but i am lol

Your problem is your flashing a mod built for sense 3.0 and 3.5 into a Sense 2.1 ROM

You might want to check THIS thread. Or you can just run MikRunny. True it doesn't have 4G. Where I am 4G isn't really that great, so no big to me. But it will be a nice perk if it gets added.

the new 2.0/2.1 has a bit of Dre Beats theme in it. it even lets you choose the bootanimation to be by Dre Beats lol. not my cup of tea, but it's there for you.

??? If your talking about the New MikShifted G v2.1 . It has a mix of Beats, and Sony Xloud cooked into the Rom. Sounds hellua nice . Wicked loud too .

Really ??? When I try it on the device speaker, it's really apparent. Between on, and off. Evevn to my untrained ears. With headphones on it's even more pronounced. I can really tell when I listen to my Shift playing throught the car speakers.

Ok... Time for clarification... Beats does not and will not work on our phone unless it is included in the ramdisk (i.e. MikRunny)... Sony xloud audio will blow up your speaker if you are not careful... Those flashable beats mods dont work unless you have high quality headphones and even than its questionable... Check out volume+ on xda, its got a beats emulation, or dsp manager works well too...

Yes you are correct the actual "Official Beats" as is will not work on our phones. The flashable Zip mods give a slight improvement if any. But the modified files cooked into the Rom seem to sound quite well. Definately sounds better than stock.

Well I recently flashed ics deck 19 and flashed over xloud+beatsaudio I use equalizer instead of DSP Manager...I have a pair of beats solos by dre...so my question was if anyone has had really good sound without distortion? And if so can u send me ur dsp manager app data or ur equalizer profile or watever I may need plz. Thanks.

Im positive people will argue, but they are WRONG! Beats does not and will not work on the shift until it is implemented in the kernel. I dont care what anyone says, it is 100% placebo... They only sound mods that work are xloud (which WILL damage your device if turned up too loud), volume+ and dsp manager... Again, BEATS DOES NOT AND WILL NOT WORK... bring on the trolls and naysayers...

Sony Xloud mod, volume+ app or dsp manager app... Sony xloud mod is by far the most effective but also the most dangerous...

It's more of a volume controll app, it won't make your speaker louder ect. Nope with beta roms you can expect things to be broken

HTC Sensation Audiophile ROM

I am wonder is there any audiophile oriented ROM for Sensation XE BeatsAudio ?
The most decent ROMS were CM7 ports,but since it dissapears,there is no any ROM audio oriented. Especially for persons with hearing dissfunction as I am myself who needs louder volume output.
I have tried all modds and variations and even ultimate producted Pink Floyd sounds "boxy" bad on ICS based ROMs..
Also Volume+ or any loudness app does not work as good as it works on CM7.
I tried out almost all ROMS avaluable here, and nothing found. Does it really seems that I have to go back to oldschool CM7.
I forgot to mention that I do use headphones model Sennheiser HD800.

Virtuous rom whit the play music app i can tell you it sounds freaking good ! I am no audiophile (not yet) but sounds feels good

What are you using for a DAC and headphone amp as Sensation DAC as I can't imagine the Sensation driving those cans very well.

If you are an audiophile why don't you buy an app for this purpose?
I use PowerAmp Pro and it really fulfill my needs. Also, sounds is not really related with rom but more with kernel, so it is up to you to find the "good" kernel.

Running Elegancia with Bricked sound is so-so but as soon as I load the latest SebastianFM' s v1.52 kernel sound is awesome. And I am an audiophile.

Can you explain a bit how sound is related to kernel? I'm a bit of an audiophile myself, not so much with the Sensation but I'm just curious how the kernel plays into it? I'm currently on Bricked 1.4 kernel.

The simpliest comparison I can do, consider the kernel as the equivalent of a Windows driver. Windows can provide a music player but sound will be rendered by the driver.

I'm using first on my sensation, but they both work on my SGS2. I'm pretty sure they will both work but my personal preference is the first one.

My fault fellas, I should have mentioned what Rom I'm on. I have been using this mod on JB Roms. I'm currently on Linaro 4.1.2 JB v.17. The first version is what I'm using no need to deal with changing build prop. Just how I like it nice and simple, Flash Awesome beats than install Noozxiode from the market, I also control sound with noozxiode. Awesome beats is the first DL from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1992553. Same link from my first post but this is the first page.

Flashing the awesome beats gives better sound then just noozxoide alone, but I don't do anything with the awesome beats. Control the effects with noozxoide. Here's some ss

Does anyone else's right ear phone has no sound. After I did everything and plugged in my ear phone to test it out, all I could hear is from my left ear phone. There is no sound in the right...How do I solve this problem?

Anyone know why mods like this don't work with Poweramp? The only reason I'm still using Sense-based ROM's is because nothing works with Poweramp. I really want to make the final move over to Jelly Bean but I like the SRS, Dolby and Beats enhancements you can get for Sense ROMs.

Something to do with the way in which poweramp handles audio threads, idk much about it tbh, it never bugged me enough to investigate...
Maybe it might be worth you doing a few google searches and see if it comes up with anything

Haha I have done in the past and it mostly throws up people replying to audio mods for various devices claiming they do and do not work with Poweramp. I have found that Dolby Mobile should work on newer JB ROMs, now I just need SRS and Beats too I wouldn't mind if they worked with another player that wasnt Poweramp, but sometimes its hard to tell if you can't turn them on/off on the fly like you can with Poweramp.
