if you need any help message me.

Pretty nice, Though I would toss in a battery or capacitor for more stable voltage.
Toss in a few more panels and you could get 12v going.
12v with 1a could easily power a decent powered T-AMP

Nice.

That's so awesome.... I'll try it one day....

Already have another panel charging a 12volt 7amp battery all day, this panel was made to directly charge my devices from the sun.

Wow this does look awesome maybe with some nice casing you could have a really good home made product here, any idea on how long the battery takes to charge?

When charging direct from sunlight it charges the same as your standard 1amp plug would sometimes a little faster, so from 0=100% in a couple of hours if there's good sunlight.
In dull sunlight its a bit slower but still gets the job done.
I also applied 3 suction cups to the top on the board so i can pin it to the window.

That's a good idea I will have to try this out soon so hi might be getting a pm for help
This would be a good idea for camping where there's not always a power sauce

Cradle

Is anyone using a cradle for Optimus One? I was wondering if other phone cradles will fit?
You can always use an universal one like this one,but the original LG SDT-140 is very very beautiful..although a little pricey too (orange sells it for 18 pounds and I've seen it on ebay too at the same price)
The original cradle is not just beautiful but also of solid build.
Shiny and solid, what a joy to use.
But expensive....
Cradle, where to buy?
Cannot find LG SDT-140 on ebay.
Where could I buy it? I am no Orange customer.
Verizon
I have an optimus t and use the Verizon Vortex dock...it works beautifully and looks decent also.

Hi,
You can find it if you search for item number 400192261278.
Okay I have the cradle but I don't think it's worth the money. It doesn't do much.

I was thinking of getting one but if I will be using any case then it will be a hassle just to remove it & put the phone on the cradle.

Using Dealextreme plexiglass-cell-phone-holder sku33310
and glueing the micro-usb connector in place would be a cheaper solution.
Thanks rikux! It seems a cool & inexpensive alternative.

Will this work?
dealextreme.com/p/usb-ac-charger-adapters-for-htc-desire-g7-eu-plug-100-240v-40145
It's intended for a HTC Desire but as far as I see, the micro usb conector is right in the middle, in the same spot as our P500.

Probably won't.
Because for Desire this connector is much closer to the back lid:

External battery pack recommendations?

Has anybody had a good experience with a portable external battery back which they would recommend for the 7.0 plus?
Great question...
I have a New Trent IMP-500 that has worked fantastic for me with every USB charging device I've plugged into it... Until I got the Galaxy Tab. The Tab will not charge on this battery.

I use the RAVPower rp-pb03 5600mAh external battery charger for 2 months, Performs great! 7 DC tips was provided enable you to charge most cell phones and other mobile devices. Small but Powerful and convenient.
I build a foldable triple 7" solar panel with battery pack and usb output myself for my travels and camping in australia. Lasts over night. I love it, feels funny to suck energy just by a small amount of sunlight

I highly recommend the Newtrent units
We have a few floating around the house. The newer ones charge via MicroUSB so there's no extra wallwart to misplace, and you can get the Samsung adapters from Dealextreme (as mentioned) or from Newtrent. I second the IMP500 recommendation - nice and compact, and even has an included LED flashlight and laser pointer. It's my cat's favorite toy.:silly:

I have a "PowerGen Duo-Power 8400mAh", which has just enough power to charge the tablet once from 20% to full. Got it from amazon, but I think it's floating around under a couple of different brand names.
Came with a Samsung adapter and a couple others. Can be charged itself via micro USB. So on a longer tour I am actually recharging that thing with something I built that runs on my bike's dynamo (With another 30Whrs battery buffer in between). Endless possibilities
The New Trent iTorch 52D comes with a cable specifically labeled for the Galaxy Tab. $29.95 at Amazon.

Blue LED Charging Cable!

Had to share this with my fellow S4 owners! If you're running a Holo theme this charger will go perfect with it, and even if you're not you're probably gonna wanna buy this! Haha. Picture don't do it justice so I had to make a video.
VIDEO// http://youtu.be/iPHHMx3ipas
PURCHASE// White // Black
EDIT: The video doesn't show it, but the LEDs are stagnant when plugged in, but then once plugged into the phone they start moving making it look like they're going into the phone powering it up. Haha.
What's the charging rate with this cable (use "Galaxy Charging Current" for example).
Yeah I'd like to know the charging rate too?

Using Galaxy Charging Lite I got many different speeds using different power adapters as this is just a USB sync cable, sorry. I shouldn't have said "charger". Using my Anker battery charger I got 440 and 660 with, then using an Apple one plugged into a standard socket I got 1000.

so in about a week or so i'll post the review and actual pictures
i figured since the 3 people who ordered their other Qi charger were satisfied that i would give this one a shot...it's a decent price and i like the looks...and it has a buzzer as well as an LED to let you know when it's done charging
Let us know how this one pans out.
I bought one of the DT-900's (on sale).. it worked great for 2 days.. and I haven't been able to get it to work since with my N4 (still works fine with my N7).
Only thing that really interests me on this one is the 1A charge, seems like that would definitely be on the high end for Qi chargers.
All of those pictures are CGI. I would wait for real photographs.

Yeah, that's why I got it, I'm hoping it actually IS what it says it is
I´ve just got it. Looks nice and works well, BUT it plays a moderately loud sound when you put your nexus to charge. This is very annoying because i use it when i go to sleep and awakes my wife.
Obviously i am not going to risk my marriage for an iq charger Anyone knows how to disable the sound? I´ve opened it, but i´ve found no buzzer in the circuit. I don´t mind breaking the buzzer if needed.

ORZLY USB A to USB C Cable Set

I thought I'd share as they finally got delivered. Still says it will be delivered on the 13TH of next month...
Orzly® Multi-Colour Value Pack of USB 2.0 Type C (USB-C) to Type A (USB-A) Cables (1M) for use with OnePlus 2, Nokia N1 Tablet, Lenovo Zuk Z1, and Other Type-C Supported Smartphones & Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMG5WY/
They are USB 2.0, but I know I'll need some spare cables at home, in the car and at work.
The cables are much nicer than I thought it would be for this price. They actually are a beautiful color with a clear surrounding on them as you can see in the pictures. The end all have this really nice speckled metallic appearance. The connectors look like they're pretty well made and nothing feels cheap. I will say the cables themselves are a little floppier that I was expecting but I've noticed this from flat cables a lot more.
Only cost me $19 for the 4 cables. Let me know if you guys have any questions, I'll answer what I can.

They may, but I don't care, that's why they are spares. I've got a few others on the way and one of the dual port ones from Google work the long cable.

That's what I was thinking, when you can't find your good cable and need something to keep it alive, or have to move some files or pictures at work.
I have these but haven't used then yet. They feel very cheap to me. I don't expect more than 500mA. I'm sure they'll be great for a trickle charge until they fall apart. I expect to keep them for that reason only, even if they only last 6 months.
