Speedtest Results

So I am running the bionix rom feom team whiskey and my speedtest results are 6.65 down and 1.99 up.
Shouldnt they be almost double that?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
The rom has nothing to do with your data speeds.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
But shouldnt they be higher anyways?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
data speeds depend on your coverage area. So no.
So running 4g shoukd be higher anyways tho right?

6.65 mbps download isn't 4G?
no way.
Try flasing different modems to see if your speeds change. Always check mounts in cwm before doing that and fix permissions after the flash Just to be safe.

Which baseband rogers or att?

So I'm wondering which baseband I should have? I have the rogers, but should I go back to the att? Would It make a difference?

Try both and stick with whichever gives you better performance. Each person will have a different experience with each one depending on where they live
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using XDA Premium App
Yup. You just have to try it out. I live in NJ and use att just for your information

I've had great results with UCKL2. Battery life is great, and signal strenth is very good.
UCKL2 or UXKG3.
UCLB3 is awful for Rogers users IMO
Ya that's the one I'm using its all over the place.

I can't seem to get the modem to change I have flashed it twice but won't change it. Its still bl3 . Do I need to use Odin to do it maybe?
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda premium
For jellybean you have to flash modems compatible with the MTD filesystem.
They are all here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1869159
I can't seem to flash it. How is it to be done

[Q] lte

Hey, my lte isn't working... The only APN that works at all is "ATT PHONE" even Odin flash to stock didn't work.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
I'm confused... what is your problem? Not being able to flash stock ROM or not having LTE? Also which ROM are you using?

I'm sorry for the confusion. I have tried all of the ROMs, and none were connecting to lte, I eventually took it to an AT&T store... I had a 3g only plan from my iPhone. :banghead:
They fixed it. Now I get lte speeds.

Trying to get H+/4g

I have my skyrocket unlocked and just put 10.1 nightly on.. I've unlocked phone to T-Mobile and I can't go able E/Edge any help?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Have you flashed a t mobile radio to it?
Sent from my Skyrocket using XDA Premium
Yes I flash UCLI3 the one that goes together in on the 10.1 official thread
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
That's just going to get you edge speeds because that is the AT&T Radio. Download this T-Mobile one and flash it. That should get you going.
