If you need that, you or someone else will need to build it. We don't currently have anything like that on here.

I found an application that supports addition of Arabic locales in the Play store. It works to change most of the menus, etc. to Arabic and other languages. I tested on CM9 ICS, and it worked to quickly change most items to Arabic. However, this solution didn't work on any non-CM roms that I tried.:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bruce.setlocale
With CM9, this, and the other link I mentioned earlier, you'll be closer to full Arabic.
I know you asked about non-CM roms, but this was the closest to full solution that I could find.

Is there a custom rom for S2 Skyrocket (UCKJ2) that supports arabic? if not, can anyone please make one that supports arabic? something similar to:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1292841
Thanks
I have the same problem. I just moved up from the iPhone crowd and was dissapointed that Google doesn't like right-to-left.
The s2 I traded in had a fixed rom.
PS. Not that you guys only work for it, but I WILL DONATE, thank and respect the solver
-rooted sgs2 skyrocket
Yeah I am willing to donate also!
Same thing here, would like to see a support for the arabic language. I just upgraded from an HTC HD2 and installed a support pack. Hope someone can provide us with something soon. Would something from the SGS-H777 work?
Anyone??? Please I really need this
Still no one with the arabic support?
I am hoping madmack or someone will come up with an arabic support for skyrocket.
Arabic for skyrocket
Please if anyone finds support for that let me know at. [email protected]
I've fixed the issue to a great extent.I rooted my phone a while ago so I could use titanium backup.
It just happens that there is a patch in the google market that requires root access. This patch can be found by searching for "rtl patch"
Thank me if I helped by clicking on the thank button

I have searched for rtl patch in market and the results that I got were:
- Browser Arabic Hebrew Patch
- Transport Montreal
- The Easy Tehilim
I didn't find any rtl patch, did you mean "Browser Arabic Hebrew Patch"?

Yeah, Browser Arabic Hebrew Patch, by brightidea. It does not solve the issue completely though, just in the browser and some web based apps like palringo (which i love)
I guess that I should clarify the fact that you need to have root access to use the patch.
Again please press the thank button if I helped, cause developers have not done so :-\

The issue has been solved COMPLETELY!!!
For those who are both rooted, and have CWM installed
is anyone still watching this topic?
Would be great to learn how you solved it...
Any detail you can share on the recommended procedure for RTL support would be warmly welcomed.
This may be what you guys are looking for or at least a start.
[ROM] Sky-Ics (2.3.5) Multiple Flavors 2/12/12 (Finally Arabic Support)

Exactly! The patch worked on my phone, i didn't even have to install the rom first
YOUR DEVICE MUST BE ROOTED FIRST
Thank You!
Thank you! this is awesome. I just rooted my phone to enable tethering and finally got my phone to read Arabic properly with this patch.

Hi.i realize stock roms such as the XXKPE or XXKPQ and some other custom roms does not provided international keyboard for languages like Chinese(traditional/simplified).Does anyone have any idea how to type Chinese on I9003? i tried swype, but my friends phone could not read the words typed.
There are so many third party keyboards on the market like swiftkey 3;go keyboard etc etc..use any one of them and choose the language....and try

Try out your regional firmwares, maybe that could solve your problem.
Higuys, can someone direct to the right link as to how to enable the handwriting feature of samsung keyboardfor N8000? Ive seen this mod in some custom roms like redemption or dr akrim's. Im currently using the latest stock version but didnt have that feature on. Appreciate any help.

When the kb pops up left of the space mine has a t with a pen next to it..I click that and it comes on..
Be aware you might also need to download the languge pack in settings. Go to settings>Language and input>Samsung Keyboard settings(little cog icon after samsung keyboard)>Input languages. Make sure the language you want has been downloaded and installed...
I also am having trouble getting this to work. I have no icon left of the space bar. I'm on 4.0.4 8013 model. Is this a Jellybean only feature?

No cuz I have jellybean (uk 8010) and I also dont have the pen icon altho I have the handwriting on in the keyboard settings.
Ok I figured it out. Press and hold the GEAR icon next to the left of the spacebar then you can choose the pen tool.
Yep, sorry should of mentioned that. In JB though you need to do what I said in my previous post on some stock roms.... Don't know why but it seems an oversight by Samsung to provide the feature but not have it active until you download the language pack and with no explanation on how to get it...
I went back to redemption rom after using the latest stock 4.1.1. But I cant seem to find it whereas in redemption rom, its there instantly.i wonder what language pack to dowmload as im just using english.

I'm currently on custom miui 2.3.7 KelLMSKing_MIUI_2.9.5_MULTI.zip
And I have tried brainmasters miui but i cant mount the system so i have tried to install the official English miui but it has language bugs on certain settings apps! I am unsure if I am doing a wrong installation combo!
Is there any one who can point me in the right direction of the official miui (in cwm or twrp form) with links and correct language to make the rom fully English

I know people will say Search for this and that, but it is often very difficult and google does not always show effective search results with the way they have been handling their search, a majority of people will have a hard time locating exact information. Here's my thread.

Can anyone check if the US version of the htc one s have the Vietnamese language setting available? It should read "tiếng việt". I search with only one result that says ics don't have it. Hoping maybe that jelly bean update may have it.
